The sweet lady working there was super friendly, and when she asked if any of my purchases were gifts I was surprised when she offered to gift wrap them! I wasn't even charged extra, and she did a great job making my gift of Colorado socks for husband look extra special. My kids had a good time checking out all the neat things too, plus they have a bathroom which was very convenient for my 5 year old to use. I ended up buying a new sling bag/purse which seems very high quality, themed socks for my husband, a cute wine bottle topper that "chirps" when you pour the wine, and a "dammit doll" which I had actually been looking for one for a very long time and was super excited to finally find one! I felt for an old town/Main Street store, the prices were fair. Be aware, along with state tax there is also. "Windsor town tax" added to your bill as well.

They showed great care in their inspection of it and when I came to pick it up they had resized it and polished it! It looks amazing! She kept showing us diamonds 2 thousand out of our price range. We let her know once again the price range. She looked on the internet to get one ordered through their vault. She found one and i did not like the dimensions. I wanted it to fit exactly like my other stone so we told her when she found one to let us know. A couple of weeks later she called us and let us know they got a diamond in that was a perfect fit for us. We drove to the store all excited from north Ft Collins and when we got there she was gone as she did let us know that. She said she would tell whoever was taking over what diamond we were to look at. When we got to the store they were asking around to see who she told. The lady pulled out a copy of a paper of the exact same stone that she showed us before that i did not like. And it was not even in the store as she had said. REALLY? WHY? why would she call and say they had a diamond for us to look at when they did not. Dont lie to make money and leave other people to take the blame. When I initially called, the staff was dismissive, which led me to leave a Google review. A manager later reached out, apologized, and asked me to remove the review in exchange for correcting the issue. Now, just a few months later (July 2026), I am experiencing the exact same problem. I called again and was met with the same dismissive attitude. When I requested to speak with the manager I had previously dealt with, she did not recall the situation--even after confirming she is the only manager at this location. I had to fully re-explain everything, including the original review and resolution. I was told that the longevity of rhodium plating varies from customer to customer. As someone with extensive professional experience in a detail-oriented industry, I take proper care of my jewelry--I remove my ring when cleaning and showering. There is no reasonable expectation that plating should deteriorate this quickly under normal use. This experience reflects a consistent lack of accountability, poor service, and questionable quality of workmanship. Based on repeated interactions, I cannot recommend this location to anyone who values their jewelry or expects professional, respectful service. If you'd like, I can make a slightly more aggressive version or a toned-down, more diplomatic version depending on how strong you want it to come across. My son had a watch that was not from Kay jewelers but just needed the links adjusted. Over the years I've had this done at several different jewelry shops that I did not buy watches from and it is always for free. It's a great way to get people in the doors and interested in your product and make them feel like they're appreciated. This was not our case today and we paid $15 to have the adjustment done. It only took a few minutes because they have the proper tools and yet I felt that we were putting them out because we weren't buying product. It'll be the last time I stepped into a Kay shop anywhere in the United States.
