Rebecca dismissed them as normal lip bumps or possible cold sores, even after I explained I had never experienced them before. A biopsy was eventually performed, which confirmed that the bumps were in fact warts. Unfortunately, after the diagnosis was confirmed, I still felt that my treatment plan was inadequate and that my concerns were not being taken seriously. I also felt there was a lack of experience and knowledge regarding proper wart treatment and medication management. Because of this experience, I decided to transfer my care to another dermatologist. They would not give the copies of the records as requested, not send hard copies or just the straight file, which means all go through the nightmare called Tebra portal and their dismal set up new account system.
