It wasn't very busy when I visited but I visited late evening in December which is definitely not peak ice cream time. They have a few tables outside but the shop is pretty small. I asked if they did samples and the staff told me they did not (which is fine), but they could add a mini taster scoop on top of my main scoop at no cost. So I got the vegan sticky toffee pudding ice cream with a taster of gingerbread. I thought the texture of the vegan ice cream was great, and I really liked the large chunks of cake/gingerbread in both ice creams. I love sticky toffee pudding, so I was really excited that they had a vegan version of it. Maybe the flavour just hit especially hard, but I might even like their vegan ice cream more than the mainstream places in Vancouver.

Strange is that above the ice cream shop there is a large sign stating Pro-fitness. Anyways, they have good selections of flavors. I got the blueberry crumble cheesecake to try. It was very good. I am guessing everything is made in house. I did find the ice cream less creamy or less smooth compared to other ice cream places; however the flavor is good. There are tables with two seats each outside the ice cream shop. Looks like they don't have a lot of competitions around the area.

I tried the Honeycomb Peak with milk and my partner tried the Mudslide with a twist. We sat in the front and enjoyed the ice cream and different types- even trying each others! Never had an ice cream that I didn't like. Love their soft serve and all the interesting toppings…read morethat they offer. There's a classic milk soft serve and another flavor which they can twist together with the classic milk. They seem to feature new flavors every month or so. I think I had seen from their Instagram page that they had an Ube soft serve back in April. Right now we're in early June and the flavor that we got for our twist was a cookie butter soft serve. Not sure how much longer they will have the cookie butter flavor as I had thought that it was supposed to be just for the month of May. So...I guess they don't always change the flavor right at the beginning of each month. They do change the flavors every so often though. I ordered the Green Forest which is supposed to have matcha powder, sweet red beans and condensed milk. They had run out of red beans when I went so they let met choose a different topping to replace the red beans. That actually suited me better anyways as I'm not a big fan of red beans. I chose the Green Forest for the matcha flavor in it, not the red bean! I ended up choose toasted coconut as a replacemenet for the red beans. Yum yum yum! My daughter chose the Brown Sugar Pearls option which came with brown sugar drizzle, and soft, chewy tapioca pearls. Hubby opted for the Mudslide which came with Tim Tam crumbs and chocolate syrup. I think the one thing I'd like to see at this place would be more flavors of soft serve to choose from. Having only two flavors makes things simpler for them I suppose. Happy enough with what they offer since they do have lots of interesting toppings to choose from, but...more flavors of soft serve would be cool to see. Parking: Pay parking on the street but the meter is free from 8pm. Service: Fair

I have visited other rolled ice cream places before, so the process of making the ice cream was the same as other stores, but it was still fun to watch. A notable point was that they offer unlimited toppings, which I didn't know--so it was a nice surprise! I chose strawberry jelly, cookies, whipped cream, and marshmallows. Because of the whipped cream, the rolled ice cream was partially covered, but overall, it looked very nice and cute. Compared to other stores, the ice cream started melting quickly, but the taste was very good--I liked it! Next time, I would like to try a waffle or a drink. They offer so many different types of drinks that looked really good!

When we met up with her in Coquitlam and talked about going for bubble tea, she suggested Pearl Fever and so that's where we went.  Last time we went, it was during a BOGO promotion. Since there was no promotion this time, I had a closer look at their regular menu this time. Their offerings include: milk teas, green & black teas, specialty drinks, fruit smoothies, milky smoothies and flavoured milks.  There is also a "Create Your Own Smoothie" option where you can pick 2 flavours from a list of flavors. After picking your two flavours the next step is to choose a base from the following options: water, green tea, black tea, milk tea, whole milk, oat milk, soy milk, almond milk, cream  You can then customize your drink with different Blend Ins (eg. Oreo) or Shots (eg.Honey). Our daughter decided to try this "Create Your Own Smoothie" option. She chose Peach and Mango as her two flavor, water as her base, and lychee jelly as a topping. She loved it.  Our friend chose Tofu Pudding and I chose Honey Peach Soda. Good, solid choices but next time I might try the "Create Your Own Smoothie" option.  I was overjoyed to see that they allow people to bring in their own reusable cups and that they offer a $0.10 discount for it!  Service: Good Parking: Plentiful and free Location: #340 - 3025 Lougheed Hwy., Coquitlam, BC

The only thing is, the pearls aren't sweet. The girl who served me was the sweetest and even left me a message on my cup!

We entered and joined the line, very earthy ambience with plenty of tables though very busy and full. Woodsy, and very clean. Sounds of all the patrons enjoying themselves with banter or working on their laptop whilst enjoying some beverage or food. I ordered the chocolate slice cake, wifey got a berry croissant and we got a tiramisu tart and tiramisu box to go. I ordered a house coffee just for something to drink with the cake and wifey also got a mocha. The cake was very good, not super sweet(for regular person) I'm diabetic so this was probably a bit much for me but I wanted to try. The butter cream in between each layer of chocolate sponge cake was smooth. The chocolate ganache was shiny and soft. I personally like more cake in general but this is a solid cake if you like butter cream and chocolate!. Wifeys croissant was full of cream on top and in the middle. Very soft and good for whipped cream lovers. The berries were large and sweet. Baked goods on terms from the ones we partook in were very good. Definitely understand why this is a popular place and always busy. Check it out!

This cafe is a good spot to catch up with friends over coffee and pastries that is transit-friendly. This time I came for brunch with my fiancé and we shared the fried chicken platter, and ordered the Spanish latte and iced mocha as our drinks. The food and drinks were good but for the price point, I wouldn't come back for brunch. I feel like this cafe is definitely overhyped and pricey compared to other local spots.
