We got to this place and were a bit timid. It looked like a house from the outside but, as you walk in, it's a wonderful looking store and winery. Everyone there was very nice to us. They were very genuine and forward with any answers they had for our questions. They serve cheese and crackers, kinda like smaller charcuterie boards so you can enjoy as you wine taste and they sell their own wine glasses as souvenirs inside the shop. For the wine tasting, they give you a menu of wines with their flavor profiles and a piece of paper where you write your desired sips to give them so they may prepare it for you as you go to your seat. They have outside seating and during the fall it is an amazing experience! I can't recommend enough coming to visit this place at least once, if you're in the area! It's a cute little place to come visit and the wine is very good! I recommend the A Maize 'N Blue if you like sweet wines!

The inside of the winery was super cozy. They had a seating section outside which was wonderful because it wasn't too cold or two hot, the weather was perfect. They offered a variety of wines. These included a preset menu or we had the option of choosing the wines we wanted to try. We also bought a charcuterie board which consisted of cheeses and deli meats. I bought some jam to spice it up. The wines and food were great! Finally the girls who were serving were super friendly. I would love to go back when we visit Michigan again

Eventually a few other couples showed up and we moved from inside to outside. There were several outdoor areas to choose from to sit. It was very quiet and peaceful out there. It is a beautiful place to relax and unwind. There are also several places to sit inside. There is a bar, and several tables. They have beer, wine, cider, sangria, and even a cider slushy, and Bloody Mary made out of wine. There is a double-sided menu with so many choices that there is definitely something for everyone. I chose to get a flight of 4 things - you can mix and match whatever you want and it was only $7. I chose wine, cider, and (Caramel Apple) Sangria! Everything that I had was absolutely delicious. The customer service was also great - very friendly person working that day and she let us have a couple tastes before deciding what we wanted to drink. I will definitely go back if I am in the area.

We had wonderful conversation with our server, sorry I can't remember her name and the manager (?). Nice ladies. I tried 2 white and 2 reds from the "dry" menu and hubby tried 4 reds, also from the dry menu. We ended up purchasing 1 white (The Big G) and 2 reds (Capricious and Red Cap-?). So now I'm looking forward to a steak at home with these reds! There's not much else in the area but this was a fun pit stop for our trip towards Muskegon. Would definitely stop by again if we're the in this area again Parking is ample (we visited in March and it was so not many visitors). Prices are good, 2 flights and 3 bottles was around $60. They do have charcuterie, cheese and crackers and one or two dips. We didn't get any food but just know that's available. If you're in the area or passing through this place is worth the visit.

The countless times I have entered and felt the entire mood of the place and then suffered through it. I am not an old codger, dear reader. I am fairly optimistic, yet the most expensive issues for dining out are costly. For my time, my wallet and value. With that, I am pleased to offer "Cooperhawk Winery and Restaurant." It is beautiful. Inside and out. It is for the connoisseur and the starter. It is priced right and there is something for everyone. Ordinarily, I would dismiss this type of venue. But it was the occasion of our anniversary and my wife is a wine girl. So I did it. And when we walked in,,, it was stunning. The first thing you will see is the grand wine wall with a long bar in front of it. This is where you can choose wine tastings and flights. Get a little something before dinner. They asked me if I was a card holding member. I laughed and said oh no. By the end of the day, I was. And am glad for it. The staff treats you like you are welcomed guests. Kind. Intuitive... and helpful. They are educated and know their stuff. The wine tasting was outstanding with the Sommelier addressing every facet of the drinks we were trying. And it was delicious. We were called for dinner and sat in the main dining room. Beautiful. Warm. Clean. Immediately, our server showed and wished us a happy anniversary and brought us complimentary champagne. (When you reserve your seats, it asks about special occasions). A bonus. We had a warm soft pretzel loaf with butter as we waited. My wife ordered a filet mignon platter which she defined as excellent. I had a chicken dish with outstanding potatoes and fresh green beans. More wine please. We imbibed. While we were full from the main course they still brought out some truffles to seal the deal. We decided to join the club and got a membership. 2 bottles of exclusive wine a month for $50. A fair value as with it comes wine tastings, complimentary glasses of wine when visiting and several offers a month. We have been back several times, and each is better than the last. I encourage you to come a half hour early to enjoy the spirits and relax before your meal. 10 out of 10.

You can sit out on the lawn over a small Vineyard outside on the patio, or inside the uniquely crafted barn. They offer flights for wine, cider, or Sanria. You're able to do a combination of any of them in those flights. They also have a beer and that alcoholic drinks as well. I try the charcuterie board and the goat cheese fig spread appetizer and both were delicious. I also got the steak thinner. It was perfectly cooked and delicious as well. They offer different special events. You just need to check their website or social media a great place to stop if you don't feel like traveling all the way up north to the Vineyards and want something a little more local that has that same feel.

She had terrific suggestions and we felt so well taken care of. We got the goat cheese dip to start it came out hot, smooth and creamy. For dinner I had the steak special and my husband had a lamb cheesesteak special. My steak was cooked absolutely perfect and the mashed potatoes were rich and creamy and the gravy was so well seasoned. It was a terrific meal. We each enjoyed a flight of wine and picked out our favorites. My husband also really enjoyed the strawberry rhubarb cider on draft. We left raving and excited to return Our second visit was the complete opposite. We felt largely unattended frequently having to flag down someone to get service. The same goat cheese appetizer came out cold and undippable. We sent it back. The second one came out also cold in the middle but marginally better than the first attempt. We split the mushroom pizza and it was just meh. It was also not really warm and could've easily been cooked longer. The cheese had no browning on it at all, and the flavor profile was really bland and we left hungry and disappointed. I don't know which experience was the better representation of how it normally is, but we're going to give them another shot to figure it out. I'm really hoping it was just an off night. Fortunately, the wine and cider were consistent.
