Reading the previous reviews I was skeptical to consider Bright Concepts as my pool builder, but I…read morehave to say I was wrong and received exceptional customer service from Rene and his team. Not only was the quality of their work beyond my expectations they walked me through the entire building process every step of the way. They explained what would happen during inspections and happily dealt with the inspector. As I read the first review I have to say my experience was completely different as bright concepts was nothing but professional and courteous through my building process. As far as pricing they were not our highest bid, they were competitive right along all the other bids we received.

I wanted to post up a review for this company to share our experience. Our pool was remodeled a…read morecouple years back and it has suffered from an underground leak ever since the remodel. We hired Renee from Bright Concepts to make the repairs and, so far, we are pleased. They trenched the underground return line from the skimmer to the pool equipment and replaced it as well as demo'd the concrete and replaced the cracked skimmer box. They had it all done in one day and it came out great...no more leaks! It's going to take a month or two for the concrete color to fully dry out and match the rest, but it appears they did a quality job. Very professional and good communication too. The rate seemed reasonable and I would recommend them to others.

Horrendously unprofessional. The person we hired seemed friendly enough, but his customer service…read moreis just bad. Bad. Bad. Bad. Bermudez Triangle Pools/Spa tries to appear like a legit service, but they have issues communicating with their customers clearly, are often inconsistent with what they say, and utilize a process that is just fishy. So here's what happened. We rent out a place in Beaumont which recently reported to having a problem with the pool pump. We ask Bermudez to take a look, and they said they needed to change a pump, which would cost $600. They demanded $500 for them to start, which we deposited to a bank account (first mistake on our part). The next day, they say that the job actually costs $2100. No break down or anything. Just a simple text/email saying they need that much. We asked for a break down, then a day later, Josh messages back with minimal words and explanation a very confusing break down. We called to talk to him directly and he hardly answers. Then, we looked up prices and found out he was charging practically twice what it should. So we said, okay, we'll go elsewhere. He said he'd give a refund. When we arrange how, all he says is, meet me in Jurupa Valley off the Pedley off the 60. No address, no indication of place. In my mind, I think, "Does he want me to meet him on the shoulder of the freeway?" So I text back, okay, "I'll meet you at 10 (a time he chose in a previous correspondence), at the Starbucks just a few miles away from the exit." Texted him the address. No response. My wife texts back, "Can you read my husband's text? He told you where he'll be." He says, "Okay." And then goes on to say he'll be there between 10:30am and 12:30pm. WTF! I say, "Okay, I'll wait. I can do some work at the Starbucks." Went. No call. Texted him again to remind him. No response. I call him about 12:15pm, and he sounds sorta' surprised. "Are you coming to the Starbucks?" He says, "Can you actually come closer to the freeway?" So I go to a gas station closer to the freeway. Give him the cross streets. Give him the name of the place, Gas n Go. Get a text saying, "On my way." He called back and said, "Are you at the AM/PM?" I kid you not. I ask him where the cross streets are. He says Mission and Van Buren. Mission and Buren don't intersect. I ask again, and finally he gets back to me with the right info. I get to the AM/PM. I approach and he says, "I'm only giving you $400 because i have to pay taxes on the $500 you deposited (the $500 he demanded we deposit btw). This is frustrating because the night before he says he'll refund $420. Then when I get there he says, it's actually $415, but he's keeping $15 for taxes. I take the money, call my wife and learn about the inconsistency. So, as you can see, there's something wrong with this company. It's either they're dishonest or stupid. Being dishonest is a horrible thing to accuse a company of being, so I'm inclined to think that they're stupid. That's no compliment either though. I can't comment on the quality of their work because they didn't do anything. But, the correspondence between customers and this company is just so bad, so unprofessional, that it makes me never want to hire private contractors such as this ever again. This has been one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. And I don't want to bash on a small company such as this, but they're just that bad. Shame on them for being so horrible at customer service.
