I appreciated the communication and kindness! **************************************************** Overall happy because they kept my pool nice and clear. Communication could be much better. One visit, they removed my pool robot-vac and set it aside. The visit log just simply said "vacuum not working". It had just been working the day prior, so I took a look and it had a piece of mulch that caused it to seize up. Removed the debris, and it worked just fine. No big deal. On another visit, we noticed they did not put any chlorine tablets in the floater. It was just empty. A few days before their next visit, I put my own chlorine tablets in the floater. But when they did their weekly visit, I come home to find the floater set aside on the pool deck with NO tablets in it. My brand new tablets I had just put in the floater were just gone. The visit log said, "Need a new chlorine floater" It was an old floater so the "floor" of it fell out (but you could put it back and as long as you gently place it back in the pool, it held the tablets). I called them and left a voicemail describing how my tablets just disappeared because they decided the floater is no good. I said it would be helpful if they would at least leave 2-3 tablets for me so I can put them in a new floater. So that was annoying, and they didn't even call back. Finally, I had been planning to take over pool care on my own, so I later sent an email letting them know. I know they got the message because they didn't come, but it just would be nice to be acknowledged when customers call or email. Again, overall, they kept the pool clear, so I appreciate that much. If I could do half stars, I'd say 3.5 out of 5. Keep in mind that while they empty baskets (including the one at your pool equipment), you (or someone) still needs to clean the filter once in a while. This helps your filter last longer and do a more efficient job.

Our previous technician was exceptional: professional, kind, and even brought treats and tennis balls for our dogs. We called the company more than once just to praise him. That's the kind of customer relationship that earns long-term loyalty. Unfortunately, the past few months marked a sharp decline. A recent fill-in technician was at our home for 21 minutes -- and our cameras showed she spent at least 5 of those sitting in her car. She left debris in the pool and a pool noodle blocking the drain. When we called to report it, we were told an area manager would follow up. He did call -- but the conversation felt combative from the start. He led with GPS data as though we were disputing the visit rather than the quality of it, made excuses for the drain issue, and left us feeling like we were the problem. That's not how you speak to a five-year customer raising a legitimate concern. This week our pool pump stopped working. We called POOL Troopers and were told there's a $150 diagnostic fee -- non-refundable, even if they perform the repair. My husband noted that had never been the policy in our experience and asked to speak with a supervisor. We were told the same area manager would call us back. We called another company instead. They offered a free estimate and came the same day. We're canceling our service. Not over one bad visit -- but because the response to that visit showed us that the company we trusted for five years no longer values the customers who stayed with them. That's a shame, because the people who made us loyal in the first place genuinely deserved better representation.

Our concrete continues to be a huge issue and we will eventually have to have it redone or add a French drain because it is SO UNEVEN on one side that rain just sits and creates a complete mess! The roof they put in continues to leak like crazy as it did immediately after completion. People that come over to our home are appalled at the work of this company! I invite anyone and everyone over to see the complete CRAP work of this company! I am shocked they are still in business!

We did not like the plastic, cheap looking solutions they offered and the price was very high. We decided to look around and went to Pinch-A-Penny in Lutz, FL for something else but asked if they could help us find what we were looking for. They the exact model we were looking for and said they had an installer. The price was very reasonable so we bought the hand rail and I called Michael's to schedule the install. They quickly gave me a date a few days out. The tech's sent me a text to let me know they were on there way and I had the part ready for them when they arrived. They took the time to listen to my thoughts on the install and they had some very good recommendations on where to install. I was told they would tell me what type of escutcheons to purchase for the install but they had anticipated what I needed and had it with them. This saved me a trip to pick some up. They had to drill two holes in my pool deck and they did a good job limiting the dust and cleaned up after they cemented the handrail in place. While there, they took a look at a pool light issue and were able to quickly determine the problem and took the time to educate me on how the system works. I would not hesitate to call them for any pool issues in the future.

Over the past several years I've consistently worked with people and companies who severely lack attention to detail, fail to communicate properly and almost always fall short of expectations. My faith in company professionalism was tarnished - until now. We hired Red Rhino to detect a leak in our high end pool built by a luxury pool builder in the area. The leak was suspected due to the need for high chemical use and a more than double water bill. From the first phone call to the final follow-up call, Red Rhino far exceeded my expectations. Because of the complicated jet system in our spa, the leak took many visits to detect. Several hours were spent and several different men worked on it tirelessly, even into the evening hours regardless of the cold temperature. They always kept the screen door closed as I asked so our small dog wouldn't escape. Our dog loves to put the ball and in the pool and have humans fetch it out. Each man working on our spa would even get the ball for her! In a situation like this, with multiple different people I would absolutely have expected a break down in communication where someone would end up leaving the door open or not know where the person before them left off or something else to go wrong. Their communication and attention to detail is second to none. They have an app they use to track EVERY detail of each visit. One of them even showed me their side of the app where they can see notes left by each person. They continuously documented details such as "be sure to leave the screen door closed for the dog" and even mentioned her name and behavior. Each and every person who worked on this job was 1000% professional, very personable, incredibly kind, thoughtful and even apologetic for the length of time it was taking to locate the leaks. They took the time to show me the leaks when they found them and explained all the details. They also took clear, specific photos and underwater video of the leaks which can be seen at any time on the customer portal. They documented everything and we have access to all of it. Just when I thought they couldn't get any better, they discounted the cost of the repairs because of how long it took them to find the leaks in the first place. It's uncommon for them to take more than one, maybe two visits to locate a leak and since mine took many days, they didn't feel it was the right thing to do to charge us the full cost even when we expressed it wasn't their fault. If I could give Red Rhino 50 stars, I would. I hope we don't have any future leaks but if we do, we would hire them again without hesitation. I simply can't recommend them enough! Every company across any industry could and should learn from Red Rhino's integrity, professionalism and work ethic. They set the bar and every company should strive to meet that bar!
