I saw that someone on Nextdoor recommended South Tampa Pool Service, so I called up Ken. He came by that day to give me an estimate. He runs the business, and he does all the service. He loves animals. He uses reasonably eco-friendly products. And his prices definitely beat Pinch a Penny's. Sold. He has been cleaning my pool for about a month now. He told me the time that he can come, and he comes that time every week (although we usually don't interact, I just see his truck out in front of my house). He dropped by last week to tell me the water level was low, so he turned on my hose and asked me to turn it off in 45 minutes. I was happy that he was precise and helpful like that.

I had been asking him to come out to check the leaking salt water chlorinator that he installed in 2022 since August of 2024. He doesn't have any help anymore he said, so he wasn't able to come out until just a few weeks ago! Now the product, which cannot be fixed is out of warranty. He told me he would try to find something that would work, but has not contacted me back again. This is a $1000 part that I don't have the money to replace, so I'm stuck. I'm in Tampa and he's in Plant City. I wish he would have just told me he can't do Tampa visits anymore.
