Love this pool! It's smaller compared to other pools, but it's adult only, not crowded, and the drinks and food a great! I come here often when I want to unwind away from the strip.

My uncle had his wedding here and it was gorgeous. Everything was so beautiful and organized. I wish the weather wasn't so windy, but I'm so glad there was no rain, as it had rained the day before. The wedding reception was champagne brunch style and everything was so delicious. I especially loved the short rib eggs benedict. The staff was so friendly. I definitely reccomend this venue for a special occasion.

Had a fun Saturday here! The pond has free entry but limited free lounge chairs. Drinks start at $18 and up! Friendly staff and great DJ!!! The misters are nice but can't see across the pool! Ha ha!

OMG! Who needs Day parties on the strip when you live 5 mins away from the The Pond at GVR!? I found my new favorite spot for the rest of my weekends this summer! I'm still scratching my head, as to why I haven't been here before, like seriously?! This is a part of the main pool over at The Green Valley Resort (GVR) Hotel! This pool is 21 and up, there's a bar, there's a pool, there are misters, there are comfy lounge chairs, they serve food and more! Seriously, you need come check it out! Thank you Melissa (Missy) for the exceptional customer service! The drinks average about $10 per drink compared to $30 for a double at Kaos, blah! I'm such a fan and will be returning to this day pool for more Sunday Fundays!

I'm so in love with these!!!!

August 2017, Sunday. Hours are from 11am-4pm. No cover charge for locals and tourists. Really a 3 1/2 star rating. The Pond is advertised as a pool party but it's not your typical dayclub scene. In fact, it doesn't even come close. (Doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing.) I would say it's more of like a lounge pool. Like what everybody else have said, the pool IS pretty small, literally the size of a pond and it's pretty cold too. Although once the weather warms up by the afternoon, you'll be begging to get in the water. Even at this size, I never felt like it was crowded. Mid afternoon, I counted about 16 people in the pool at once and there were still plenty of room to roam around. A lot of people like to chill by the edge of the pool, drink in hand, enjoying their group's company. Wide variety of ages. Crowd is definitely aged 26 and up. Thank goodness there weren't any obnoxious douchebags or bimbos. A live DJ was there and he spun some pretty good mixes. Top 40s pop, mainstream hip hop, a remix of 80s tunes....I liked it. Boyfriend and I were able to grab some lounge chairs (it was plush and very comfy by the way) so we didn't have to pay for a daybed. Daybeds and Cabanas are available for rent with a f&b minimum. Prices will vary depending on the day/holiday weekend. Lounge chairs are first come first serve and those are free of charge. No f&b minimum either. Cocktail waitress was attentive all day. The food was alright....pool food was better at Drais, Marquee and Daylight. Since this is an off strip property, aimed more for locals....everything was pretty solid. I would definitely be back here for a day of relaxation and lounging around. Knocked off two stars simply because the size of this place. If the pool was bigger, it would give Daydream at The M Resort a run for its money.

pool water is ice cold on July 9th! otherwise a beautiful oasis!

Pond This is Green Valley Ranch's adults-only pool. As I walked in, I noticed the beautiful intimate atmosphere. The area is small with a small pool in the middle and a waterfall on one side. There is a DJ playing good dance music, a bar, several cabanas and lounging areas. Entry to The Pond is complimentary, with rates available for lounge chair, daybed and cabana rentals, and bottle service options as well. We were lucky to get a lounge chair and I thought I found my paradise, no screaming kids. LOL! until I went to the pool and felt the ice cold water. Now that was disapointing because we love to get in the water. We had drinks picked out and everything. My bf asked the waitress if the water is always cold, she said yes. Unfortunately, we left and went to the other pool. Not able to get in the water doesn't do us any good. Hopefully, next time, they will turn the heat on a water a little bit. We are quite a big spender and good tipper, they lost a business.

Even though the building has been around for a while, it's kept in great shape. The ambience is clean, welcoming, and family-friendly, and it really feels like a space for the whole community. The staff has always been amazing--friendly, helpful, and genuinely caring, which makes every experience that much better. One of the biggest pluses is the value. They offer so many activities at a really reasonable price, and this is definitely the place to find more discounted programs compared to elsewhere. From fitness classes and pools to kids' programs, you get so much for what you pay. Overall, the Henderson Multigenerational Center is a gem--nostalgic for me personally, but also such a reliable, affordable, and enjoyable place to bring my daughter. Highly recommend it for families and anyone looking to stay active in a welcoming environment!

The amenities that it provides include outdoor swimming pools, tennis, events & activities, a dancing room, and more. It also provides the needs of my recreation, which is hiking. The Silver Springs Recreational Center grounds is connected to the Pittman Wash Trail. It is at my favorite location along the Trail where a picturesque landscape of mature trees provide a canopy of shade throughout the year. At this scenic spot, the Silver Springs Recreational Center grounds extend across Pittman Wash to the amphitheater and Pittman Wash Overlook. Here, hikers are able to ascend down a trail onto hiking trails that follow the meandering wash. Oftentimes on my Pittman Wash Trail, I have turned onto the short walking path between the swimming pools and tennis courts then crossed Silver Springs Parkway into Silver Springs Park across the street. In reality I have been here more than six times. Walking through Silver Springs Park, which I would count as a recreation center amenity has extended my time in the Henderson Great Outdoors. From my visits to the Silver Springs Recreational Center, I discovered that the restrooms are the cleanest restrooms along the Pittman Wash Trail. I am impressed by the high standards of cleanliness in the restroom and throughout the facility. If only Yelp Tips was still around I would of posted this. Recently, after hiking along the Pittman Wash, I found out that they have vending machines. This was very beneficial when I developed a deep thirst on the hike. The $3 bottle of Coke was a lifesaver. The reality is that there is a long distance from the beginning of the Pittman Wash Trail in Arroyo Grande Park to Pecos Road without proximity to cold beverages. Again, I will say "If only Yelp Tips was still around." Before voting on this review, let me bring up "voting." I have early voted here twice during the past two President Elections. My observation is that the Election aspect was managed well, where finding a parking spot could be a challenge. The parking lot here is relatively small to accommodate Election voting and events. I have seen it fill up to the point where people park across the street in the Silver Springs Park parking lot. On the aspect of voting, I will close off this review by casting a vote of Four Stars for the Silver Springs Recreational Center.

My friends and I decided to spend Memorial Day weekend at the pool altogether. We booked a reservation for a cabana at DayDream earlier in the week. The best part about this spot is that you just have to do a minimum spend. Because it was a holiday weekend, it was a little more than usual, but trust me, when you have 10 people splitting a cabana, it's not that hard haha. To get the to dayclub, you do have to wait in the normal line at the pool to check in so they can give you a wristband so you can get into their dayclub area. Our server was amazing (wish I remembered her name) but she did a great job taking care of us. The pool at first wasn't too crowded but it definitely got a lot more crowded as the day went on. It was also a holiday weekend and I've come here before not on a holiday weekend and it's still a good buzz but not too wild. Our cabana was so nice! I loved it.
