Okay Pond, I see you! If you're local and you're looking for a spot to cool off at, The Pond has free entry for 21+ up (since it is an adult only pool). This past weekend was my first time here for a friend's birthday party. One of my friends reserved a cabana and I think it was about $500ish food and beverage credit to reserve, which isn't TOO bad because you spend that quick. We did a few pitchers of mixed drinks which were about $60 each and it goes quick. The guys did a lot of buckets of beer for $50. The cabana area is nice and has plenty of seating, though when I think of cabanas at pools, I think of private, secluded areas with a safe to put your stuff, a TV in there, etc. These are more lounge cabanas, as they aren't private or secluded and you can see what the cabana next to you is doin. They do have daybeds that you can also rent or just regular seating at the bar area or lounge chairs. There also isn't any private restrooms for this pool, so you do have to leave and come back in in order to go to the bathroom. The pool itself was pretty small, so when a lot of people get in there, it gets packed pretty quickly haha but it had a beautiful waterfall! I don't think they heat this thing at all haha. It was COLD even for an over 100 degree day. When the sun went away, I got out cuz it was just a lil too cold for me (I know, call me crazy). The girls we had helping us at our cabana were so great and on it! Amazing service for sure! I would definitely come back here. read more

This is a hidden gem ! Spent a Saturday here and it was an amazing experience. Not too crowded, the pool is on the smaller side but was not too packed. The music was good, food was delicious and the service was amazing. Bianca and another girl (didn't get her name) took care of me and there was not a moment I felt forgotten about. They checked on me consistently throughout my day and were very friendly, thank you both so much ! So nice to have an escape as a local, and can't wait to be back again! read more

The Pond opens at 11am but I wanted to get here early since it was Memorial Day weekend. There was already a line around 10:45am. They do check your ID at the door, as you enter be sure to grab a couple of towels before you head out to the lounge chairs. You have to reserve and pay for daybeds and cabanas. The single lounge chairs are free based on a first come first served bases. Food prices start off at around $14-$25. Alcoholic beverages are around $18. I ordered the Sandbar Colada, Lavendar Haze, and a shot of blanco tequila - I felt like the drinks were watered down, they go light on their pours. As for food I ordered the Sandbar Quesadilla with chicken and a side of fries, thought it was ok. Total bill was $85. Overall, this is a cool spot to hang out during the summer months. It is an adult only pool. Staff was friendly. You will pay typical hotel/resort prices for food and drinks. Would most likely return. read more

Love this pool! It's smaller compared to other pools, but it's adult only, not crowded, and the drinks and food a great! I come here often when I want to unwind away from the strip. read more

My uncle had his wedding here and it was gorgeous. Everything was so beautiful and organized. I wish the weather wasn't so windy, but I'm so glad there was no rain, as it had rained the day before. The wedding reception was champagne brunch style and everything was so delicious. I especially loved the short rib eggs benedict. The staff was so friendly. I definitely reccomend this venue for a special occasion. read more

I'm still scratching my head, as to why I haven't been here before, like seriously?! This is a part of the main pool over at The Green Valley Resort (GVR) Hotel! This pool is 21 and up, there's a bar, there's a pool, there are misters, there are comfy lounge chairs, they serve food and more! Seriously, you need come check it out! Thank you Melissa (Missy) for the exceptional customer service! The drinks average about $10 per drink compared to $30 for a double at Kaos, blah! I'm such a fan and will be returning to this day pool for more Sunday Fundays! read more

had the pleasure of visiting The Pond at Green Valley Ranch in Nevada, and I must say, it was a truly delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, I was captivated by the serene atmosphere and the attentive service provided by the staff. The Pond offered a perfect blend of relaxation, excellent service, and delectable food and drinks. One aspect that stood out during my visit was the exceptional service provided by Natasha, our waitress. Her attentiveness, knowledge, and friendly demeanor made our dining experience truly exceptional. She was prompt in taking our orders, and her recommendations were spot-on. Natasha's passion for her work was evident, as she effortlessly catered to our needs, ensuring our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Speaking of dining, the food at The Pond was absolutely fantastic. The menu featured a variety of options, from fresh seafood to mouthwatering steaks. Each dish was expertly prepared and beautifully presented. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, leaving me wanting more with every bite. Accompanying our meals were a selection of perfectly crafted cocktails and a diverse range of drinks that complemented the flavors of the food. However, I must mention one aspect that prevented The Pond from achieving greatness: the lack of a restroom nearby. It was slightly inconvenient to have to walk into the hotel to use the restroom. While this did not overshadow the overall experience, it would have been more convenient to have a restroom in close proximity to The Pond. Despite this minor inconvenience, The Pond at Green Valley Ranch is undoubtedly a remarkable destination for anyone seeking a relaxing and indulgent dining experience. The serene ambiance, exceptional service from Natasha, and the tantalizing food and drinks all contributed to a truly memorable visit. I highly recommend The Pond to anyone looking for a tranquil oasis in the heart of Nevada. read more

They now charge a $50 entry fee for locals where in the past, locals have been complimentary. I was there yesterday, got there at 3pm- they close at 6pm and it was empty and they still wanted $50 per person. For that price, we rather go to a bigger, nicer, day club pool on the strip. Even Moorea at Mandalay Bay is just $20 for locals. Won't be going back to the Pond. read more

I've been to this pool (club) but, never on the weekends. Needless to say, the weekday is much more tame. Friends convinced me to "chill" on a Sunday; and considering that you get a daybed for $100 worth of food and drnks; this was a no brainer. There was a total of 6 of us sharing the fairly large daybed and quickly racked up the $100 tab on food and drinks. In fact, this "chill" Sunday turned into a $500 tab and polishing off 2 bottles of Hennessy. Even the waitress was shocked at how much Henny we finished. Don't-ask! Obviously; WE'LL BE BACK =) read more

August 2017, Sunday. Hours are from 11am-4pm. No cover charge for locals and tourists. Really a 3 1/2 star rating. The Pond is advertised as a pool party but it's not your typical dayclub scene. In fact, it doesn't even come close. (Doesn't necessarily mean it's a bad thing.) I would say it's more of like a lounge pool. Like what everybody else have said, the pool IS pretty small, literally the size of a pond and it's pretty cold too. Although once the weather warms up by the afternoon, you'll be begging to get in the water. Even at this size, I never felt like it was crowded. Mid afternoon, I counted about 16 people in the pool at once and there were still plenty of room to roam around. A lot of people like to chill by the edge of the pool, drink in hand, enjoying their group's company. Wide variety of ages. Crowd is definitely aged 26 and up. Thank goodness there weren't any obnoxious douchebags or bimbos. A live DJ was there and he spun some pretty good mixes. Top 40s pop, mainstream hip hop, a remix of 80s tunes....I liked it. Boyfriend and I were able to grab some lounge chairs (it was plush and very comfy by the way) so we didn't have to pay for a daybed. Daybeds and Cabanas are available for rent with a f&b minimum. Prices will vary depending on the day/holiday weekend. Lounge chairs are first come first serve and those are free of charge. No f&b minimum either. Cocktail waitress was attentive all day. The food was alright....pool food was better at Drais, Marquee and Daylight. Since this is an off strip property, aimed more for locals....everything was pretty solid. I would definitely be back here for a day of relaxation and lounging around. Knocked off two stars simply because the size of this place. If the pool was bigger, it would give Daydream at The M Resort a run for its money. read more

Pond This is Green Valley Ranch's adults-only pool. As I walked in, I noticed the beautiful intimate atmosphere. The area is small with a small pool in the middle and a waterfall on one side. There is a DJ playing good dance music, a bar, several cabanas and lounging areas. Entry to The Pond is complimentary, with rates available for lounge chair, daybed and cabana rentals, and bottle service options as well. We were lucky to get a lounge chair and I thought I found my paradise, no screaming kids. LOL! until I went to the pool and felt the ice cold water. Now that was disapointing because we love to get in the water. We had drinks picked out and everything. My bf asked the waitress if the water is always cold, she said yes. Unfortunately, we left and went to the other pool. Not able to get in the water doesn't do us any good. Hopefully, next time, they will turn the heat on a water a little bit. We are quite a big spender and good tipper, they lost a business. read more

I'm not a real fan of the "Pool Party" club scene. I just don't have enough tribal tattoos to really fit in, that's why I enjoyed the The Pond so much. This spot does have some of those yoked out gym rats, but it's very minimal. The Pond is more like an outdoor spa with a bar. The venue is square shaped with couch filled cabanas around the perimeter and smaller lounge areas surrounding the actual pond for all those couples who love public displays of affection. The Pond's swimming area is basically a large hot tub, but it's also a pool...yeah. It's kept warm by either a pool heating system or copious amounts of pee (just saying) there's a lot people drinking and not a lot of bathroom trips being taken. There's also a waterfall hanging over the pool area, a nice way to cool down if you've been in the sun all day. I had a great time here, very relaxing and a great way to cure a hangover. If you do decide to come check it out, hurry because pool season is almost over! read more

I have been here a couple times. Once for a Spy On Vegas Alcohol event and once by myself on a weekday. The Spy on Vegas event was packed. The lines were too long at the free liquor so I spent 10.00 on my cocktail at the bar. The pool is definitely a Party Pool and was fun. Some lounge chairs were sitting in the water and the music was pumping. On My second visit I went on A Tuesday In May around 1 PM. Kesha Was blasting on the stereo. It wasn't too crowded. There was a pile of dirty towels and no clean towels, and nobody working the area apparently, except for the bartender. It was still a comfortable vibe and I would go back. read more

My favorite daypool that is away from the strip. It is very small and intimate & I have never seen this pool packed, which I do not mind at all. It is very beautiful and the service is great. I love how they have a small waterfall at the pool and the music is great. It is a great place to bring your friend or even go alone. Ive gone by myself here or I've brought one of my girlfriends and I always have a great time. There's also a nice range of age groups: I have seen people who are much older than me and people who as young as me. Furthermore, there are no lines nor cover charge (Well---last time I checked. but if theres still no cover charge than Yay!!!!). read more

This is the perfect alternative to the insane pool parties on the strip. I recently stopped in for a free redbull/vokda all day promo and had a blast ! Things to love: *The hot DJ who actually knew what she was doing *Great people watching, but not a "scene" *No lines, no cover *Spend $100 on food/drink and a day bed is your's *The food and drink is actually delicious - unlike many of the strip offerings *A nice range of ages, body types, etc - no one should feel out of place *Adults only, no screaming annoying children I far prefer this place to Tao Beach . A little quieter, but still just as fun. You don't need a line and a cover to enjoy yourself ! read more

Small, but super fun and not crowded. We were able to get right in without any hassle. It was very relaxing, and the music was just right. The bartenders were quick as well. Drinks are just a bit pricey, at about $11 a pop, but it's free to get in so I guess you can't complain. Note, just because you can get into the Pond does not mean you can get into the regular pool. They wouldn't let us in even for just a few minutes to just say hi to our friend who cocktails there. read more

Today was the most relaxing day even though it was incredibly hot and yucky outside. My girlfriend and I sipped champagne and soaked away in the cool, waterfall of a small pool that can't be seen from the outside. Yes there are topless girls at the pool and yes, some of them should not do so, but judgment on their behalf is not my forte'. So instead, there is a five star review for making the most of 120 degrees, champagne in a beautiful setting and super comfy orange and red beds to lounge around to your hearts content. Nothing like ordering a $7 corona...from a can...but BEWARE gratuity is part of the bill, so no need to tip here for their 'service'. Its a pretty nice place, not crowded like Tao Beach, which is horrendously crowded. Nice and relaxing, we had two day beds and it was pure bliss. I was with five girls and so of course there was the totals creeps that came out of nowhere, but oh well, they drank for free and they were happy...when the creeps left. I'd def go back. read more

Went here on a Monday cuz I heard they served all you can drink champagne for $20 bucks! Well I am happy to report that they do in fact have that promo on Mondays for now.. Its a really cute really small pool area. Its surrounded by cabanas and beds that you can flop out on..which I did. The pool is small but thankfully there were not that many peeps there otherwise Im sure it would not have been so relaxing. And it was nice and relaxing. They played decent music over the speakers as well. I have to say this was a really great way to spend the day..would love to come back again! read more

Looking for an adult pool that allows locals in for free. Not looking for a lot of people. Sunshine is a must. Where to go, where to go...Let's head to the Pond in Green Valley Ranch! Came here on Sunday to celebrate "Sunday Funday" with some friends. We got a couple of buckets of corona (6 beers in each) and 2 mojito type berry drink pitchers. All of that came out to $175 (including tip). The pool is small, but all you need it for is to cool off after laying in the sun for half an hour. The day beds are comfortable and big enough to fit a few friends. Always an ample amount of towels. The staff is super cute and friendly. Most of all, there wasn't a whole lot of people so I didn't feel crammed and the people who did visit were HOT!! Nice bodies and cute faces. I was in heaven! I love the fact that this place is FAR away from the strip but offers a taste of the Vegas pool party scene. Visiting this place is a must and I'll be sure to come back real soon! read more

Really nice pool, about 10-15 min drive away from the strip. it was FREE, provided free towels and servers were really nice and laid back. Located in Green Valley Ranch Resort Hotel Casino. This is GVR's day club. Let me just say that Michael may be the best pool manager in Las Vegas. I love this place, it's a little cramped but that's half the fun, or all the fun if you do it correctly. The cabanas are open and close to the action. I have had a great time here with great service overtime I have been here. Wait until next summer and have a blast! Much cheaper than the strip! I came here for their zen day with a meetup group and had a great time. Every hour they had a server come around with either a popsicle, frozen fruit, or ice towel. It was very nice to feel pampered. They were also offering complimentary chair massages, which were very nice and relaxing. The area is fairly small and intimate. There is a small square pool in the center with a waterfall on one side. Around the pool there are several day beds and then cabanas beyond that. We were lucky enough to get a cabana and we all really enjoyed being able to relax in the shaded area and have a table for our food. Their servers were great. They were all very friendly and continued to check on us. There is a bar along one side where you can get drinks and food. I had eaten before so I did not try any of the food offered but it all looked really good. I had the sangria and it was awesome. It was strong but it didn't taste like it. It was very refreshing by the pool. My only complaint would be that pool water was not that clean. There were not too many people in the water but there was a lot of stuff floating on the surface and it was a little cloudy. But all in all it was a great day! read more

NOT A TOPLESS POOL. In fact, it was FULL of kids and parents just letting them jump and dive into the pool splashing everyone and ruining our drinks. Super disappointed, I don't care about the topless part but it was SO nice to have a small spot for adults only. It was the reason I send all visiting family here. read more

Love this! GVR is top-notch, and I love having this so close to home. The pool at my apartment building has not opened yet as they are brand new, so I was hoping to get some sun and get in the water this past weekend, and The Pond provided me just that! It was not even crowded and the staff were friendly and attentive. Nice beach area for kids, and nice bar and areas for the adults. Will be back! read more

The Pond has taken a dive downhill this summer. There are no longer any parties, DJs, etc. It is no longer topless (was it ever really?). And while it technically has no cover, there are minimums to sit anywhere, which change daily. On a Saturday early afternoon, it was $50 minimum per person for a lounge chair. Daybeds and cabanas were higher. There was one rude cocktail waitress and absolutely no one else in the place. And we got chased out by the minimums. No music or anything and a unfriendly cocktail waitress? And you want us to drop $100 on drinks and/or food (there was two of us)? Nah, not happening. And that's a real shame as it looks like a nice, relaxing spot to enjoy some pool time sans kids. Small pool, but well-kept. Very nice looking. Put on some low-volume music and don't charge so much - then you might actually have people patronize this spot. There was literally no one at this pool on a Saturday in June. It's a waste of a nice spot. read more

Be careful renting a cabana here. We called to reserve on on a holiday weekend (4th of July), but they wouldn't take a payment over the phone, just said that they put us on the list to have a cabana. We called in the morning to let them know we were going to be there after 11am, GVR said ok no problem. We get there and they have no cabana available. They said they always overbook and give it to who's on the list...and suddenly they DON'T have our name down & said we never called to reserve anything. Super pissed. They finally gave us a cabana after screwing us around, and when we went to pay our drink & food tab, they said we had to meet a $300 food tab. None of that was ever said to us to begin with and now they're trying to make us order $300 worth of food/drinks before we can go. WTH? One of the guys came up to us and said "that should've been told to you when you called and reserved the cabana"...hi...according to you, we NEVER called...then the topper, when we finally get our bill settled once they realized we were not going to pay the $300 minimum, they run our cards incorrectly and add in that we bought sweatshirts. OMG. We will NEVERRRRRR come back again. Too many issues read more

Came here for a refinery event. I'm not sure if it is always free for locals but there was definitely no one guarding the entrance to check ids or charge. The pool is very tiny with minimal seating. They had four huge floaties in the pool that literally took up the entire thing. The bartenders were extremely slow and it wasn't even busy. The cocktail waking around was very good though and quick. It is a nice pool to hang out by but wouldn't pay to get in. read more

Well everybody knows that daytime pool parties are all the rage in Vegas this summer, but, being a local, I didn't really wanna deal with the parking, traffic, and high prices of the strip pools. Instead, we went for the locals' version of pool party: closer, quieter, smaller, and most importantly, FREE! The pool at the Pond is nice: it's completely hidden from view by the families which might be hanging out at the main pool (I think because you can take your top off if you want, but nobody did that while I was there), so it feels secluded. The pool is small, ,but it has a large waterfall to give it some interest. The chairs/beds/couches are all in great shape. My favorite part was that it was free to get in and free to use any of the chairs to lounge in (first-come, first-serve). You can even call ahead to reserve one of the beds and I think that's free, too. On a Tuesday, mid-day, there was probably 25 people in there, so definitely plenty of space to stretch out. The thing that tipped the scales for me to try the pool at GVR was that they advertised free margaritas on Tuesdays. HOWEVER, after we arrived, the bartender let us know that the only free margaritas are the samples that the Don Julio girls hand out, but they never showed all afternoon. Minus one star. They were still running their $20 pitchers of margaritas special, which I definitely took advantage of. Also, the bartender was nice enough to mix ours up "diet" style (soda instead of sweet & sour). Overall: not a pool party LV strip style, but it is pretty damn cool for a pool party that's practically in your backyard. read more

This place ROCKS, me and my sister-in-law stumbled upon this place while exploring the resort and sooner than later found ourselves enjoying the Pond every single day we were at the resort. It's a small area that they have cornered off for the "youngsters". They have a small dipping pool and a bar. You can order food from room service and have it delivered to you at the Pond while you sit in the pool and enjoy the sun. This place is quite the hot spot for the locals. The bartenders were nice and make some mean "Summer Breezes". The staff works to make sure the area is clean and tidy. They have cabanas to lounge on if you just want to sit and enjoy the beautiful weather. If you are staying at the resort you should definitely check the Pond out. read more
