While we were helping him get set up, he touched one of the laser tag guns and an employee immediately got irritated and told him in a very rude tone that he "doesn't understand" and couldn't play anymore. He's a young child -- kids that age are still learning and developing at different paces. There was no need to speak to him that way, especially in front of everyone. He ended up in tears. When I calmly approached to understand what happened, the employee continued with the same attitude and dismissive behavior. Instead of de-escalating, she became confrontational, which eventually led to security being called and us being asked to leave. The situation was completely blown out of proportion and handled in a very unprofessional way. This is a children's venue. Staff should be patient, understanding, and trained to communicate appropriately with young kids and their parents. If someone doesn't have the temperament to work around children, this may not be the right environment for them. On top of that, the playground area itself raises safety concerns. There are kids of all ages running full speed through a treehouse-style structure with steep stairs and heavy traffic, which feels like an accident waiting to happen without proper supervision or flow control. Very disappointing experience overall. Parents should be aware of how interactions are handled here.

Life is breathtaking and short . Let's not forget about the love for ourselves and others around us. We need to focus on the one thing that's important. We need to be mindful and focus. But sometimes we can be distracted just a little and forget about everything. It's all good just to go play. As we age we realize and regress . I'm figuring out this . The inner battle of oneself. To just do something whimsical and unplanned is epic. We have to adult ourselves enough when we exist in our life experiences, but let's be clear, "go play!" Release those feelings and make new memories. Make happy thoughts of running away with a rainbow. Sometimes it's not just in our dreams, but always in our thoughts as they pass day by day . Then into the garage and you can pick a few items (snacks, little toys, candy) for free. There are coupons to spin a wheel and win other things and he also has fossils that he explains and lets the kids touch. It's a very sweet little place obviously put together with the love of dinosaurs and little children by a retired teacher. Our nieces (ages 4 and 7) enjoyed it and spent about 45 minutes there. The fields were pristine and the location was easier to get to and had a lot of businesses in the area to visit Just down the block. You have Starbucks, Albertson's and a lot of other businesses that you can shop while you play at the park however in this case, we had a baseball tournament take place there and it was the coolest little park to play in. If you are going to go there, it's recommended you bring canopies and something to shade yourself! Don't forget to hydrate definitely use this park to have fun. Bring your dogs and enjoy the area.

The splash pad here is one of the largest splash pad at Henderson parks. It is spread out to give kids plenty of space to splash and play. It has a variety of features too. The splash pad is conveniently located next to a set of bathrooms and changing stalls. One of my favorite things about this park is all the green grass out in open spaces. I love having all the open space to let my toddler safely run. A lot of people bring blankets and hang out or have a picnic. The playground is good for about three years and up. A lot of the climbing features would be too big for really little ones. There are also two big slides in the side of a hill. There aren't any swings at this playground. There is a large covered pavilion area in between the playground and splash pad. It's large enough to be rented out for two different parties. We attended a toddler birthday party here and it was a nice space for that. The city should put up signs that the pavilions are paid rentals though. My friend arrived to find a party happening in the area she rented. The other party didn't know rentals were to be arranged through the city. She felt bad and gave up some of her rental space because she didn't want to ruin a kid's birthday party. Another cool thing about Mission Hills is the shaved ice truck that has a permanent spot when it's hot out. How perfect to be able to grab shaved ice when playing in the heat.

Bonus points for Friendship Park being right next door, because the vibes here are actually good and not just "posted-on-a-sign" good. We've been coming here for years and it never misses. Every visit delivers the same thing: peace. It's beautiful without trying too hard. Some days it honestly feels like you took a wrong turn and accidentally crossed into another state,calmer, greener, quieter... and nobody asking you for anything. Perfect place to walk the dogs, let the kids burn off every ounce of energy, or just sit and clear your head when it's been running at 100 mph all day. If you need a mental reset without packing a bag or burning gas, this is the place. Safe to say this park is officially locked into our weekly and monthly routine

They have have the water not just shooting up from the ground, but areas they can climb up into, water coming from above with small arches and giant flower sculptures. Multiple buttons to activate different water features. They make this available to 8 pm, but it would be nice with the Vegas heat if the parks allowed this till 9 pm. The playground is smaller, one less traditional but geared towards older kids, and a smaller one for the littles. Both these areas are very well covered by shade clothes above. They have unique saucer type swings off to the side and a small rock climbing cave. They also have a large basketball court. Parking is street parking primarily, but there is a small parking lot as well.
