About a year and a half ago, after having three children followed by nearly two years of pandemic…read moreliving, I knew that I needed to change up my fitness and nutrition habits. After many, many search sessions, I kept coming back to Body by Emilee and finally took the plunge to set up my initial consultation. And now, I'd probably describe myself as a superfan of Emilee's. From the get-go, Emilee was really approachable, kind, and very easy to work with. We started with nutrition sessions, and while I was definitely not eating the most healthy diet, I never felt bad talking about my habits. Emilee's approach is a "sure and steady" way of looking at things. Instead of something drastic we were able to look at my habits and make small, consistent changes over the course of the past year that has served me really well. Plus, nothing is off-limits. Emilee believes in creating a sustainable lifestyle of nutrition and exercise. And I'm more of a "moderation in everything" kinda gal, so I couldn't handle someone telling me there'd be no more, oh, I don't know, fried chicken or champagne or cake. From there, I was also able to add personal strength training with Emilee two days a week. While the sessions are never easy, Emilee is always very mindful about how hard we are working and adjusting my weights or my exercises to have maximum impact on my goals. And working out with her is honestly just a ton of fun. Beyond the excellent coaching aspect, Emilee has built a solid community of women around her, both the folks she coaches as well as just the people she knows in the world. She hosts regular events for everyone who trains with her that span a wide variety of topics, everything from a session on learning to add meditation into your routine to a spin class. Every time I attend one of the events, I marvel at how much I genuinely like everyone that is there. For me, a number on the scale wasn't (and isn't) my ultimate goal, but I have lost nearly 30 pounds over the past year, and a half (all the Covid weight and most of the baby weight), but best of all is how strong and healthy I feel. My body feels really good, and I feel really good about my habits these days. Finding Body by Emilee was like finding a light at the end of the tunnel, and my sessions with her have been such a bright light in each of my weeks.

Emilee is a great partner and coach. Spending time to talk about tailwinds and how to make small changes created a lot of change quickly for me. She checks in with you and creates a holistic plan catered to your needs. I can't recommend her enough!  I will continue to leverage her further as coach in the future, as her method is aligned to what works for me!

Rob has been a friend of mine for a number of years, so I've always known the enthusiasm and…read morecommitment he brings to his clients just by virtue of observation--the level of availability and support he provides through his work on a professional level is obvious. I would add, that often leads to an openness and trust on a personal level that allows him to truly help people arrive at a better state of wellness beyond just physical health. It was not until recently, after suffering a spate of miscellaneous sports misfortunes, that I had the opportunity to experience what Rob does first hand. It honestly blew my mind. His ability to diagnose an apparent problem is skillful, and candidly I would have never appreciated the interconnected-nature of my weaknesses on my own. (E.g., this back pain you're experiencing is actually about your glutes). From there, he helps to rectify the current issue, in a way that to my lay mind is a little akin to witchcraft. (I explained to a friend, that when Rob was 'adjusting' my pulled calf muscle it sort of felt like he was doing nothing, and then magically everything was better after). Finally, Rob gives useful, practical guidance on areas to work on that help to improve the overall function and avoid the issue going forward. His approach is full service, which honestly makes him unlike any trainer or therapist with which you might otherwise work. It's why it's so hard to explain what it is exactly that he does, unless you've truly had the fortune to experience it yourself. If you're working through an injury, or just trying to get to a better place of overall function, I cannot recommend Rob more highly!

I've been working with Rob for a few months now, and can't believe the difference it's made. I used…read moreto sleep with a heating pad on my lower back every night--now I don't need it. Rob helped me realize that the soreness and tightness I was feeling (especially after having three kids) wasn't something I just had to live with. His approach is super personal, and even over virtual sessions, he has this ability to notice little movement patterns and imbalances I didn't know existed. The exercises he gives are simple but so effective. And as a mom, I really appreciate how flexible and accommodating he is. He's totally understanding when my schedule gets crazy, and even included my baby in a few sessions during nap strikes. Plus, his voice is so calming--I always end our sessions feeling relaxed and reset. Can't recommend him enough!

My problem is with corporate management. I purchased a "lifetime" membership back in 2001 that involved paying about 1K up front, but giving me a great renewal rate which I've happily used since then. As of a few days ago, my renewal was $99 a year. Then the problems started. Even though I had been going to the Meridian location since 2004 until it closed, and the Parker location at 20 Mile Road since it opened, I was denied access unless I "upgraded" my membership. What? I have a lifetime membership that entitles me to go to any 24 HF in the world. They said no and even changed the membership info in their computer to remove the 2001 inception date. Shady AF. I guess I should be glad that I got 23 years out of that contract but a contract is a contract. I don't knowingly give my money to crooks. It's not really about the money at this point, it is the principle. After 30 years of membership I'm taking my business elsewhere and trashing 24 HF on social media in every way that I can. I also may file a small claims lawsuit against them as I paid for 2025 in full and they aren't honoring the contract.
