I absolutely am LOVING going to these classes... I was so shy my first class, and now I'm about 8-9 in and I wish I could take them everyday!!! I love Missy J. West and have very much enjoyed her energy, her knowledge, confidence, and her ability to just make you feel open to being sexy and to just let go. I think confidence or at least the appearance of having confidence helps with looking SeXxXY I also really love the way she explains the moves. Kristen S. Is another wonderful, and inspiring teacher. I would most Definitely recommend you try out their classes. I have taken a class with two other instructors and they were also fantastic! I first started dancing at Studio 3sixT in early 2019. I can't imagine finding a more supportive and inclusive community and feel so fortunate to have found a family here. I am disabled and never thought of myself as strong before finding Studio 3sixT. Every instructor here is outstanding at listening to students and working WITH our bodies. I always feel safe in class and comfortable communicating what I need AND challenged and encouraged to try things I never would have thought possible for me. When I started at the studio, I initially intended to try classes with each instructor to figure out who was my favorite.. Beautiful studio with great vibes. Extremely discreet there are no big windows like most of the other dance studios I have been to. This place is almost setup basement style where you walk downstairs and the classes are held there. Also please keep in mind this place is in the shopping center where maps takes you but there are no big visible signs depicting where it is. The sign for the studio is pretty small and it is only on the door of the location so you will have to pay attention to that to properly find it. The class I took was good. Visited this great little studio for a private party. The owner was great about accommodating our time and party. This seems like a little thing, but we really had a tough time finding a studio that would host our party at a time that wasn't in the middle of the day. Who wants to go to a private, pole dancing class at 2pm...get all excited with your girls...and not be able to head right out for a night on the town? The price was great as well and our instructor was fun and skilled! We had a one hour intro pole dancing class. We even learned some twerking moves. Our teacher had moves that all of us could learn. I wasn't great at spinning but I still was able to learn a move I could do. So you aren't totally discouraged. We chose not to bring food, but you could if you wanted. No alcohol is allowed, but that's just fine. The space is intimate but just large enough for its purpose. All in all, we had a blast with Mary and I just may have to come back for one of her twerking classes! (Every girl needs to find her inner sexy goddess now and again) read more

I have attended 1 intro to pole dance class here, needless to say after that experience I purchased a 3 month 12 class pass! I'm hooked! I can't wait for my next class! My class was with Virginia and let me tell you she was great! Any class that has to start with a disclaimer about how, "you can't take the sexy out of pole dancing, I'm going to ask that you touch yourself..." is so my cup of tea! She did a great job through a floor work out and then started us on a couple basic spins with the pole. I have never taken a pole dance class so it was interesting to me to see the different dynamic of a "sexy workout." You had to share a pole with another attendee if the class is larger but that almost makes it more fun! Once we had gotten past our own insecurities of dancing in front of others we all began to hoot and holler for our fellow classmates. Complete with the occasional giggle at the funny ways you'd land after spinning around and getting tangled up on yourself. I think that it takes a certain kind of person to give this type of exercise/class a try, but if you're willing to push your comfort just a little, you have to give it a shot! This studio is amazing! The intro pole class was organized so well! The instructor was amazing, the lesson was amazing and all the girls were amazing. I literally feel like every single girl walked out shinning and super energized after the class. Best workout ever. Class environment and feel of everyone was so down to earth and free from ANY judgment or hesitation. I think everyone should try pole atleast once, and it should definitely be at this studio. This studio was my introduction to pole/aerial and really fitness as a whole. I came in getting a great deal on one of their class packages at a time in my life when I needed to push myself out of my comfort zone. In an effort to reclaim some semblance of confidence and empower my sexy side, I showed up to the studio for my first intro to pole class in a pair of leggings, and a t shirt. After a few months of coming here, I started seeing beauty in strength and appreciation for what my body could do. In this studio, for the first time in my life, I wanted to work out because I loved my body and what I could do and not because I needed to change it. For too long, I internalized weight loss as my only vehicle to self worth and beauty. I remember wanting to be thinner so I could be pretty ever since I was 10 years old and now I feel liberated. It's still a struggle, but I have gratitude for this studio. I have tried a couple of other studios but have noticed more of a sense of community and supportive atmosphere here there are so many women who I admire here. Thank you Missie for showing me what sexy, confident and strong looks like. Jenn- if it wasn't for you spotting me, I don't think I ever would have tried an invert. Kristin- I remember taking a class with you and for the first time in my adult life, or ever, feeling confident enough to take the class in a sports bra and shorts. I had a life emergency happen as I'm sure we all have. I tried calling the studio to let them know of my situation to either be able to reschedule my class or just let them know I would be late. I never got an answer on the phone and it just sends you to google voice which is very unprofessional as you can NEVER reach anyone directly at the studio. Anyways, I get into the class and wait to go in at a moment of transition to avoid interrupting. Instead of politely acknowledging me, the instructor makes a rude remark in front of the whole class "wow you are so late" embarrassing me and singling me out in front of the whole class. And then she rudely proceeded to tell me well we already made a routine so I guess you can tag along as if I didn't pay money to be here like everyone else. she even had the audacity to question me and ask if I signed up for the class as if I didn't belong here. Becca among other staff are incredible but whoever teaches the Wednesday 11:30 is horrible, rude, unprofessional, and seems like an overall very unpleasant person to work with and be around. I hope the studio really reconsiders her as she doesn't align with the mannerism of the other staff. I'm actually glad I dodged a bullet and didn't have the unfortunate pleasure of working with such a rude, arrogant individual. read more

I tried the Intro to Pole Dancing Class. The instructor, Christin was really nice and encouraging even though Inwas completely out of my comfort zone on this one. They start out with a few floor moves to warm you up and stretch then move on to a few basic pole moves. My favorite part of the class though was the free style at the end. You get to just do your own thing and try and toss in a few of your newly acquired skills. If you're not in your 20's you might want to take a support friend or two with you, lol. Private party. $200 for up to 10 people for an hour. It is a great deal and personalized experience that makes this a steal for a price! I feel like a real d-bag, but I don't recall the instructor's name! She was the shizz fo' rizz. The bees knees. You know, awesome. She taught us to work the pole at a pace perfect for us novice pole dancers. Not too fast where we didn't know what was going on, and not too slow where we were just standing around thinking "wtf is going on". She was so amazing that some of my friends are thinking about moonlighting as pole dancers. Bottom line: My arms and thighs hurt - it was a legit work out, and I'm pretty sure my friends and I are 20-25% sexier after that class. At least we think we are. read more

So, as I am the sole remaining member of the EFC, I have decided to review something other than exotic/ethnic food. And what's more exotic than pole dancing? The name itself conjures black lit and smokey rooms that reek of sweet smelling sweat and desire. Silhouetted bodies writhing and twisting on the stiffest and longest poles to be had. The stripper pole. I decided to try my hand at pole dancing while watching Dancing with the Stars, of all things. Dancing looked like so much fun and in my impulsive Google search for ballroom lessons, I came across this studio's site. Mind you, the website is not so hot, but my friend lives near by and she agreed to go with me, so we signed up for an intro class with Jen. After one botched GPS attempt at finding the location (it is unexpectedly in a mini strip mall), we parked quite happily in front of the Garlic Knot (YUM!) and made our way to the studio. The space is a very clean and comforting area underground. You walk into a not too bright, not too dark, very calming area with some terrific art work, a few cubbies, and a friendly face at the desk. After signing in we doffed our coats and bags and watched more people filter in. After about 5 minutes, the instructor (a very tall drink of water with a terrific smile) came and got all us newbies (or virgins as the situation warrants) and we entered "the pole room." After a fairly rigorous warm up, Jen took us through the basics of pole dancing, starting with just getting to know the pole and trusting yourself while dancing on it and walking around it. It made me wish I had brought my high heels!! Then we started to learn some actual spins, which I can't remember the names of, and that's where I was all hung up. I discovered quickly that I was not as strong as my friends made me think. I could barely lift or hold myself as I flung myself around the pole. My friend, on the other hand, was almost too good...she made me wonder what she did last summer "back home." :) All in all, it was a great experience. I'm still trying to walk normally again, damn my thighs hurt! And Jen showed us a couple of amazing moves that we could all aspire to attain, which were fairly mind blowing. I think I may be hooked, but I am definitely far from that smokey black lit room. It looks like the studio offers more than just pole dancing, but other dance oriented classes as well. But the pole dancing? It made me feel sexier than I have in a long time. And that's saying something. In true EFC fashion: This experience would definitely get you laid. Especially if you used the moves on your lover. 4 stars for something brand new and non-food oriented. It was great fun! read more

The classes at Studio 3sixT are the highlight of my week. I started coming in June and am totally addicted. 1) (most important) These classes are a great workout. Totally different. So much fun. But definitely be prepared to sweat and work all of your muscles. I am sore after every class. And I know I'm gaining a lot of new muscles. 2) (just as important) Everyone at this studio is amazing. The teachers are friendly, fun, energetic, and really encouraging (I've only taken classes with Jen and Missie). All the other students are really supportive. 3) There's a good variety of classes if pole isn't your thing. I like mixing things up so I like having a lot of options. Full disclosure: I was nervous for my first class ((isn't everyone?). I'm not a dancer. Pole was completely outside my box. Don't let it stop you. Everything about this studio will make you feel comfortable and sexy before the end of your first class. Tips: reserve your spot for class online! A full circle workout!!! I have been addicted to pole fitness for a little over a year now; there are no limits to this workout! I am always on the lookout for new tricks to work on and I seek the expertise and experience of instructors and other dancers in the pole community in Denver. I recently took a private with instructor Jen from Studio 3sixT. It was a great experience! She asked and listened to what I wanted to accomplish in the work out fitness wise, and the list of pole tricks that I wanted to achieve, very similar to a one on one personal training session! She catered the lesson warm up to my fitness goals and used her knowledge of fitness and pole dancing to help me achieve different pole tricks. Jen's focus and critical eye helped me get better hand placement for my handspring, brass monkey and a few other tricks. At the end of the lesson we discussed my long term fitness goals and she offered specific toning exercises I could do on my own in order to reach those goals. She then explained the muscles it would benefit in order for me to perfect pole tricks I have been working on. Advancing my dance skills and muscle toning?!? Perfect full circle from Studio 3sixT! This place is AMAZING!! I like dancey workouts already - but this takes it to a whole other level. The atmosphere is somewhere between an aerobics studio and a club, and once you get comfortable they pump the music, hit the lights, and it changes everything! What a workout! I am currently in Level 2 and this stuff is getting hard. Your first few classes are you getting used the pole with some simple spins and some stretching. It then goes to more difficult spins, climbing the pole and more floor work. There are few different instructors and find one that works best with your style. Xiaohui has more floor core/leg work. Missie has more of finding your sensual style on the pole. So take a few ladies and give it try and be sure to bring a yoga mat. No men allowed in the studio. read more

Studio 3sixT is more of a family than just a group of people you dance with, so if you want a tight knit community of pole enthusiasts this is your place! I came in just a few months ago as a beginner, and felt instantly comfortable with this crowd. It's intimidating trying something new, but here I feel at ease and confident learning new skills. The owners are transparent and extremely helpful when dealing with their clients; you can see they care about YOU instead of just profit. I took Intro to Pole two weeks ago for the first time at Studio 3sixT. I enjoyed it so much I am on my way to another class this evening. The studio is clean and has a sexy feeling to it. Missie is my instructor and I give her an A+ at showing her students how to work through some fun exercises that strengthen your whole body. I have taken many classes with the owners of the studio before it even opened and they were always just phenomenal they helped me create and perfect routines and improved my strength, flexibility and confidence far beyond what I have ever gotten at any gym. It is not only fun and sexy but you are actually pushing yourself harder than you would in a normal gym because you are always wanting to get that next trick down. Of course I have now attended classes at their new studio, which by the way is very classy and upbeat, filled with amazing artwork and a great studio layout. They have an amazing selection of classes for pole from the first timer to super advanced. They even have classes outside of pole including Zumba, Ballet Barre even a burlesque class and I love that all the instructors are all extremely experienced in what they do and it really shows. Not only do they make you feel welcome, and comfortable, but they will make your jaw drop when you see them perform. It's inspiring!! The location is a wee bit hard to find as it is squeezed in but well worth the find. Studio 3sixT is by far one of the best if not the best in town !!!!! read more

A disclaimer for this review: I'm a dancer with 15 years of experience. That said, Studio 3sixT was NOT the right place for me. I bought a Groupon for four classes, and took three level 1 classes. Each one was slow-moving and we didn't do any cool or challenging tricks on the pole. After each class, I asked to be moved to a higher level and was denied. This was immensely frustrating, and I didn't even bother returning for a fourth class since I wasn't learning new pole tricks as I had hoped. The studio space is nice, I appreciate the privacy, and there's plenty of parking. The instructors were nice and the music was great. I just wish they taught better tricks or moved people up in the levels more quickly. read more

I've been lucky enough to take classes with all three of the owner/instructors of studio 3sixT. The ladies of 3sixT have helped expand my understanding of pole fitness and shatter my stereotypes. And the icing on the cake is that I've lost a ton of weight. Each instructor brings a wonderful and unique perspective... and every class or lesson was fun and a great workout!!! Missie is a lot of fun, and helps you feel comfortable being sexy. I took my first pole and chair classes from Missie, and she helped me feel more empowered in my own skin--and was completely understanding when I giggled a lot at first. Jen is amazing at helping you understand your fitness goals and shapes a routine to help you meet those goals. She makes you feel strong and capable of doing anything. Jen is great at identifying where you can improve, and how to get to where you want to be. Xiaohui is a great instructor, and has helped me ace a lot of things I have struggled with at first. She has helped me advance in my technique, gotten me through my workout plateaus, and encouraged me the whole time. She also helped me feel confident enough to tackle my first performance! I love 3sixT and would go more often of I didn't live about 20 minutes away. It's a great studio because they have 2 separate rooms- one pole room and one open room with the ballet barre. The space is always very calm and everyone who works there is so friendly. It is in a little hidden location but park next to garlic knot and you'll see it to your right. Always plenty of parking space though! I love the ballet barre class- your legs and tush will be sore the next day, and it requires no pole skills. Also the XXX classes are great workouts- they make you feel sexy but don't require a lot(if any) pole knowledge. I recommend checking out a pole intro class if you are new to pole dancing to see what it's all about, but definitely check out all the other amazing classes they offer at the studio. read more

Studio 3sixT is by far the best gym/workout/dance experience I've ever had. I started out with a groupon of theirs that they offered, and I am now officially hooked to pole dance fitness! It is a very small, hidden studio off of Colorado and Yale. You walk downstairs into a very hip, contemporary, well designed studio. The instructors are incredible - I've never had a bad experience in a class. They're very supportive and make you feel really comfortable in a somewhat unconventional environment! There are a variety of classes available from intro to pole dancing, ballet barre, and hip hop. Even if learning pole fitness isn't your thing, their other cardio and strength classes are incredibly fun but challenging. My favorite part is that their classes are always a reasonable size. I've been to other pole studios in town (Tease Studios) and the instructor to dancer ratio was way too low - There were 20 of us in a room and only 1 teacher. At Studio 3sixT, while you might have to share a pole on occasion, you always get really dedicated instruction because their classes aren't designed to be huge. They also respond to me ASAP when I send any kind of email or question. At Tease, I usually wait a week + to get a response, and sometimes had to send an additional follow up email on basic questions. Not to mention, they have really reasonable prices. The sticker price of classes on their website is high, but they almost always are running a monthly special where you can get classes for under $10/each. I'm as shy and awkward as they come, and the pole fitness classes at 3sixT have definitely helped bring me out of my shell - at my own pace though. I've never been pushed to be more over the top sexy than I am comfortable with. Love it, and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to try something different in the fitness world! read more

I've been here twice, both times left very upset. As an experienced dancer, and having two years of pole dancing under my belt I was disappointed with this studio and how they handle things. They require an intro class if you are a new student so I decided to just take it and get it over with. There were at least 12 of us and most were first timers with a groupon in hand. The instructor had us doing exercises to music but couldn't count us in or keep on the beat, making everyone feel lost. I was hoping to be moved up to a class in my level, but I was asked to stay and pay for another class for an answer. The second class was just a freestyle in heels, easy and simple. I didn't have my heels with me, so the class was pointless. Afterwards I was told I could move up one level to Level 1, and I was not listened to about my experience or what I could do on the pole. Very insulted, and annoyed that I wasted money on the dance around in 6-7inch heel class. My second time, I was determined to give 3 six T another chance because I love pole dance so much and I wanted to learn more. I had my credit card number stolen a couple days ago so I didn't want to pay online. I showed up to drop in but the class was full so I had to wait and see if I could take someone's spot if there was a cancellation. Nope, perfect attendance of 8? Girls and was asked to leave. Remembering how full the last classes I took were, I left angry. It is a big studio and I wouldn't have minded sharing a pole and stretching over in the corner. I was really nervous to try pole originally, so I found this place in Groupon, and I went to my first class with 2 friends. We had such a great time. Now I'm going by myself consistently and still having a blast. Fantastic instructors (especially Missie!), great music, and you'll always have fun and get a great workout. It's such an easy environment to let loose a little and take a much needed break from life's craziness. And you'll more than likely be pleasantly surprised at your abilities, at least I was. I've tried other pole studios since my first few classes here (because 3sixT isn't exactly geographically convenient for me) but no other studios come close or hold a candle to this gem of a studio. It's well worth the drive! Be warned though that you can't just pop in and Be guaranteed a spot in a class, gotta book each class through Mindbody (which is super easy through the Mindbody app!) Such a friendly bunch of people, and you always feel welcomed, comfortable, and sexy in your own skin here! read more
