It's been a while since I've been to the Point in El Segundo. It's a nice gathering place with stores and restaurants. There's a green area in the middle with seating and is popular with families with young kids. There was a stage set up for special events. When we arrived for dinner, there was a lot of parking available. But when we left around 7 pm the lot had filled up and the common area was filled with families. I think there was an event with fake snowflakes as I saw a lot of melted ice all around. It must have been fun for the kids. I saw a number of new stores that I didn't see the last time we were there, such as Lululemon and Yeti. This is an enjoyable place to visit.

What a jewel for the South Bay. A beautiful well appointed outdoor mall. The Mall has extremely nice clothing stores and restaurants. Here you find True Food a beautiful Italian restaurant and outdoor comfort food dining. Check out my pictures. Beautiful fountains beautiful landscaping the people that work in the various stores are super nice. A must see if you visit the south Bay. There's plenty of parking and who can beat the price for parking... free. Summer is coming if you want some good ice cream they have it here with plenty of outdoor seating. This is a extremely clean mall. They even provide umbrellas as you can see in the picture for your convenience.

The Point is a great small size shopping center. There are many eateries, specialty shops and places to roam and relax. I counted approximately 9 assorted eating and/or drinking spots and 13 different stores and shops. One of my favorites is Allbirds and Paper Source. This is a popular South Bay shopping spot where the weather is usually wonderful. Since it is so popular, the parking can be a challenge. The entrance off of Rosecrans has a signal and there are many parking spaces at that particular entrance. I suggest parking there. So many try to find closer parking which is very limited. If you enjoy smaller shopping centers with just enough curated shops and eateries, I highly suggest stopping by The Point.

The Point is a fabulous spot to hang out for good eats and some shopping. Nice outdoor shops and restaurants. There is a nice grassy area for the kids to run around and games to play. We love coming here whenever we're in town. It's new, clean, modern, open air vibes. They have a great selection of shopping and restaurants. A few of my favorites here is Little Sister, North Italia, Paper Source, Pressed, Van Leeuwen and Yeti. It's conveniently located in El Segundo close to the airport. What a great find. There are so many wonderful shops and restaurants in the area, including True food kitchen and pressed. I came here for a soul cycle but I ended up staying for a while because they have such beautiful ambience and great comfortable seating outside. They also have a Lululemon and other great shots, it's family friendly and they have a green space if you have kids and want them to have a place to play

The Point is one of those realitively high-end shopping and dining plazas. It is home to a limited number of retail establishments and restaurants. These businesses are housed in a large, open air, facility that is very easy to navigate. One of the interesting things about this shopping plaza is that they have a small, park-like area in the middle. Though it is cover with AstroTurf, it is quite common that you will see people bringing their children to play on it and other people sitting around enjoying food or drink. PS: You don't necessarily have to sit on the ground, they also do provide some chairs around the grassy area. :-) Overall, if you are going to the shops that are located here or want to stop in for a bite or a latte or something this is an interesting place to frequent.

When I worked around El Segundo, I would visit The Point quite often! I already miss it! For some reason, I wasn't able to find a separate page for the El Segundo Pressed Juicery, but it's one of my favorite spots at this outdoor shopping center! The rest of the mall is relatively station but not too large and crowded. Definitely check it out when you're in the area

The Point is fairly decent when it comes to dining options however for me personally it seems like a park with restaurants due to the heavy amount of kids running around playing. As a person who doesn't have kids it can be a bit annoying trying to find place to sit and eat when parents are taking up the seats to watch their kids play or hoping a ball doest come and hit you or your food. There is a local park nearby for people to bring their children to and leave the enjoyment for adults with shopping dining and drinking to the other patrons. Summer concert series is an incredible feature while visiting here. They always have amazing bands playing but again the amount of kids running around and playing unsupervised while we enjoy our drinks and music can be a bit excessive. From the ada standpoint I do not feel they have enough handicap parking spaces available and a suggestion would be maybe adding a full restroom instead of a single stall. Often I find myself using the men's if it's too long of a line or I go to one of the restaurants I regularly visit. With all the lively entertainment and fun going on here more resturants would be a plus. I do have to say I love how everywhere is wheelchair accessible and easy to move around and everything is upkept well. Despite the flaws I do love dining here and visiting for live music and drinks.

The Point is a very nice outdoor mall. Now, if you are on vacation, don't bother running there. It is very nice, but similar to other outdoor malls. Parking can get crowded but you will find a spot. There are a few nice places to eat there and Peets Coffee is there and that is always good. Also Lucky Brand has a large store there and that is great. They have kid clothes as well. We spent a couple of hours there and it was nice out, the place was super clean and most people had masks on. The ones that did not ---I don't know what to say, I rather not some stranger kill me. It is the law here in all of Los Angeles. Anyway, we will be back for Peets and Lucky Brand.

We went to True Food Kitchen for lunch. Service was good, given a lunch rush the server was attentive. Food selection was decent. I recommend charred cauliflower for appetizer! We also got 3 different juices (The OG refresher, Sparkling Prickly Pear Tisane Refresher and lemon-lime spritzer) all were yummy. The price is on a pricey side but totally worth it.

This is a nice shopping center. Has plenty of resturants and little shops. Clean and upscale. I usually only check out Athleta.

This place is definitely a nice addition to South Bay. It's got a colorful, clean, modern vibe and a small but good array of shopping and dining. The outdoor plan definitely takes advantage of our beach weather with plenty of outdoor seating and shade. It'd be a great place to bring my future kids, ya know, if I was into that sort of thing (since dogs aren't allowed). Overall, all of the shops and restaurants are solid but highlights are definitely North, Mendocino Farms, Shophouse, and SoulCycle to work off the calories from all the aforementioned. Parking is free, but it definitely gets crazy during lunch. read more

Truly a beautiful place to stop by and have a great meal, conversation , or cocktail outside in the huge grass & palms courtyard or in one of the fine Restuarants. The shopping is very good , though limited. Multiple types of new retails surround the big grassy courtyard. Benches & seating areas line the grass. A wonderful place to meet up, talk , shop, and dine. HopDoddy has my favorite Restuarant located at one corner. The Turkey burger is right on tender & spiced. The menu of select burgers can suit everyone's taste, yummy fries. True Foods is amazing as u may already know. I go for the soups. Delicious. The Italian restaurant is always busy and I love the outdoor seating. Lastly, Mendocino Farms can't be beat, enjoy that eatery as well. Beyond the sunshine , the great class of people , and the retail , it's a great place to chat and meet up. It's not posh, it's not just for business nor nannies and kids. It's for everyone. Not really a fan, the parking is ridiculous... Free but not enough and so spread out, it's just weird. All the shops are quite posh, nothing affordable, the quintessential California beach girl hangout where you should expect to spend 100s on a simple Tshirt. The restaurants though are always packed and just abuzz with people. Most of the stores are geared towards women and a majority are some sort of yoga/mountain-climbing/indoor sports type stores. Not complaining but not my idea of a place to go shopping or even window shop. read more

Who doesn't love an outdoor gathering place with great shops, great restaurants, outdoor seating and the occasional band? This is the modern mall, replete with upscale, well, everything. This is a martini and craft beer a place, with Resturants like Noth Italia, Hopdoddy, and True Food Kitchen. The place can get packed for lunch, so parking can be tough. This was a great addition to the South Bay. read more

The Point is a new, clean, and poorly developed property. It's failure to deliver a complex and experience befitting this location is a disappointment, to say the least. The property is situated on a corner parcel with sweeping views of Los Angeles, the airport, and downtown LA. Of course, they erected a structure with restaurants, shops, & a large patio that take advantage of an expansive and unique view. Right? Wrong! Instead, The Point offers no views from any vantage spot in the shopping center. This complex is an exercise of initiating a development with absolutely no vision. I understand that there are zoning laws and that plans must get through city approval, but this project is a meager and castrated entity. Instead of producing a destination complex with extremely desirable restaurants that take advantage of a magnificent vista, the developers have presented a complex offering no views and forgettable eateries and shops. What could have been something truly special is instead, just another small shopping center. read more

Not the biggest center, but with free parking and beautiful layout it's a local gem. Plenty of shopping and eating options, but without huge crowds it's a cool place to escape and relax. There's a small kids area, couple of fountains and for you selfie lovers there are a quite a few backdrops that demand your smartphone. Nestled between the Manhattan Beach mall and the El Segundo center this place feels like a getaway. Mostly done window shopping here, yet the appeal is there. If you're looking to ditch the hustle & bustle that is L.A. come here. read more

New addition to the South Bay. I love this plaza already! I love that they do outdoor concerts in the Summer. Love that they have workout events sponsored by Athleta on Sundays! Love that it's nearby work and home. This place is beautiful! I can't wait for more businesses to be opened! read more

I've been here twice since they opened: once to eat at Hopdoddy and once to try and get a table at True Foods Kitchen (60-90 minute wait, pass!) It's a well-designed and beautifully manicured space. Benches (with cushions!), plenty of greenery and murals. The two things that irk me are the parking spots reserved for clean air vehicles (why??) and the pet policy. True Foods Kitchen said no pets allowed, there are signs posted that say no pets allowed, but Hopdoddy offers doggy water bowls and treats? It seems like a great place to bring your dog, which is why the no pets policy is such a disappointment to myself and other south bay pet owners. read more

The Point is a new cool small shopping center. I actually had been looking for specific shoes for work and I was able to get them at a shoe store here. My little one also found a hat that he wanted to get with his own money! What? Yes! There's also an area where kids can play while you rest your tired puppies. read more

Wish we had a spot like this in Orange County. Smittens Ice Cream (originally from SF), Sugarfina, Madewell, Mendocino Farms, HopDaddys, and for some reason lots of athletic wear stores--the Point is on point! Lol had to say that one.. There's ample parking and it's a great place to just hang out with friends. There's cute seating throughout the center plaza to spend a nice afternoon people watching. There's a lot more eateries than shopping, but I can imagine more stores coming in in the near future. If you're in the area, check out the plaza! read more

New shopping & dining meeting place in the South Bay area. It's a cute little outdoor mall with shops for clothing, shoes, accessories, etc. and some eateries. (See below directory) It's nice to have a place like this around town because the South Bay doesn't really have any cute outdoor malls. It's quite small but I actually like that because if it was big like The Grove, it'd be jam packed. Love the coziness of it and love that the stores are ones I don't see around town. (Except.. I do feel like some stores won't last and will soon be replaced by others.) Parking is always difficult here it seems. The only nice thing is that you can access all the stores from any side as there are entrances all around. Very high end establishments with lots of restaurants and boutiques. I do not like that the address is El Segundo yet the vibe and sign point toward Manhattan Beach. Some of the businesses even claim a MB location on their websites...not cool! Looking forward to trying Smitten Ice Cream which should have opened BEFORE this winter chill set in! Will be back for that and hope I can find a parking spot! read more

This is a gorgeous outdoor plaza in El Segundo with high end shops and eateries. So far we have only eaten at North Italia but loved it! We will definitely go back when more restaurants open in the very near future. read more

Not too bad. Don't ever come here during the week at 12noon. NO FREAKING PARKING. Just wanted to hop into Peets for a quick pick me up, but forget it. If I have to park a mile away from where I want to go, its not designed properly. Overall the food places look nice and the stores seem ok. Its a nice place to walk around, ya know, take a stroll or whatever. But, not sure about making regular visits because of my parking experience. If I come back will probably stick to night visits instead of daytime. But 12noon weekday lunchtime anywhere in El Segundo is chaos...honestly. read more

Across from Manhattan Village shopping Center, The Point is a hit , it has several nice restaurant's and clothing stores. The outdoors area is a nice place to sit relax and enjoy a cup of coffee. On Sunday's most stores here close early . The shopping center is semi hidden but a nice Gem when you find it . Will be back on Friday. read more

A beautiful new center in Manhattan Beach/El Segundo - I don't know if I would call it a mall, I feel like the eateries outnumber the shops. Mendocino Farms, North Italia, ShopHouse, True Food Kitchen, just to name a few. Also a Lou&Grey, Planet Blue, and Madewell coming soon. Great area for kids with a fountain (not to run in, though you can find a little splash area across the street near the Pinkberry), foosball table, and a cute playhouse. Though NOT dog friendly (SAD). Another gripe is that the parking is a little tough - the center just opened last week, most of the restaurants/stores aren't open, and it was already tough to find parking. A welcome addition to the area. read more

Theres not a lot of variety for shopping/store wise. Reminds me a lot of their nearby neighbours at Plaza El Segundo and the Manhattan Beach mall. All of them have no real retail stores at all...only thing saving manhattan beach mall is macys (barely), sephora & the apple store. The El Segundo plaza is just randomness split in islands (really annoying and people with their beamers or the plastic mommies speeding like crazy.) But I digress...lmao. Maybe its just me but when its called a shopping center I would expect a lot more stores than 8 to go shopping at. Why do we need more yoga, hobo wanna-be mary kate and ashley olsen twin stores?? Its a great fit for all the mommies of the beach cities and people who just like "browsing." But if you guys want to actually do some hardcore shopping for every person/gender..its def not here at all. Its more of a foodie center if anything..just like everything else near this area. I know thats the vibe they "wanted" since residents didnt want it be a "real" shopping center/mall to not create a lot of buzz and people from surrounding cities to come and bombard it. lol. It's pointless to me to be honest have this place open just like the Manhattan Beach Mall. Better to go the local malls like S.Bay Galleria or Del Amo to get some real shopping done and just have needed variety. They should def. build a bridge connecting the the El Segundo Plaza as I had mentioned it to the mall management there since I used to work in that Plaza. Just because this center is pointless in my opinion but might be worth it if its connected to the plaza to actually create more of a "shopping experience." You can literally walk the point in 5 mins & youll be done looking at with the whole thing. read more

This is an upscale indoor/outdoor mall area. This was my first time here and it seems very lovely. I was here for dinner but you could get desserts and clothing, etc. I was pleasantly surprised that the parking situation is great with tons of parking spaces in the parking lot. read more

Great addition to the South Bay. As others have pointed out, I wish they would let us bring our dogs since it's an outdoor shopping center. They have new stores and restaurants we didn't have in the area like Madewell, Medocino Farms, True Foods and even the popular cycling class SoulCycle. The design of the plaza is kind of weird - you can't see the stores from the outside but there seems to be enough parking (for now). read more

The Point is a great place for families. It is intended to be a community gathering place and offers several monthly and weekend activities - concerts, yoga, stroller walks, etc. I love the larger than life lamp shades and the design aesthetic. Yes, there are lots of eateries, but the intent is to create a space where the community will come back again and again... In most cultures, that means to EAT!!! And the restaurants are AMAZING! North Italia is SOOOO good and True Kitchen is fresh, healthy and so kid friendly chic. While I sympathize with the dog lovers, I would point out that to give the mall one star merely because of the no dog policy is a little short sighted. Stores are slowly opening, such as Madewell and others. When complete, it seems like there will be a great balance of fitness and casual wear. The Lucky store is huge and gives me a new perspective on the brand. Although most of my favorite stores are in the adjacent plaza, I still give the Point a big thumbs up because I think it offers a whole lot more than just a place to shop. read more

I really enjoy spending an afternoon at The Point! The restaurants are delicious and there is a good variety of different types of food. It's a good place to go for date night (which I have!). Very nice ambience. Also there are kids' activities during the day sometimes that you can find on Facebook. Only downside is parking is terrible! I've had to circle for 30 min before to find a spot. read more

Hip open air shopping center. It has a few shops but mostly consists of dining establishments. Lots of fun choices-including several Fox Restaurants. Very family friendly-and a great place to enjoy some fresh air. read more

Open air shopping mall. It's pretty, shiny and new. Ahh... I do love the pretentiousness of the shiny pretty people. It's only half occupied so far. North Italia and True food kitchen. Seem to be the only bustling thing here No dogs no smoking in the beautiful grass area. Which is currently blocked off for old rich people to buy art at an auction. Since I'm early sitting waiting for my friend, I'm glad there are a couple of comfy chairs to sit and wait, otherwise awkward since there are only 3 stores and 3.5 restaurants. Parking is free around the perimeter with valet option. I parked myself so not sure the price read more

Not an ordinary shopping mall. Yet I like this place. This is more like a cool hang out spot. I come here pretty often because of Soulcycle. However there are many great restaurants here as well. My top choice is of course, True Food Kitchen (love it!)!!! I was always able to find good parking. The only time I had difficult time finding one is Friday night or weekend. I love the outdoor seatings. Can't wait for Summer to come so I can appreciate this place more. I just wish they had more fun stores here..... read more

went to all the shops to check them out was quite impressed with Lou & Grey. The sales associates were very friendly. I have my eye on a pair of earrings I will be going back for. Love that they have the jewelrey placed around with the clothes and who did the piece and where it comes from. The associate was very knowledgable and pleasant. This is an open air mall and a great new addition to the South Bay. They have a relaxing open plaza in the center of the shopping center circled by shops and restaurants and an ice cream shop. It's a perfect place to meet up with friends or relax with the family in the afternoon. read more

I've been to other athleta stores and this one had the most helpful and friendliest staff. I came in with 2 babies, my hands full, and the associates on the floor were so quick to help find me sizes and give me a hand. Moms love to shop but it can get hard. Left with some great and comfy work out leggings. Worth it. read more

Kid friendly area for sure. Hopefully more shops will be added in, but def cute layout and has a Madewell Clothes store, Lucky Brand. Close to other shopping areas. Hopefully there is an expansion for more stores coming in. read more

Rumor has it that this mall will be demolished for condos or some type of housing real estate investment? Overall I would come back! The water feature doesn't work. But there are still scores of screaming kids that run up and down the concrete remains. The escalators to and from the parking frequently are broken. And yet they continue to charge outrageous amounts for the parking, now through centralized pae stations rather than meters which are unattractively bagged with bright yellow plastic bags. The only thing that is subpar for this space is that it needs a better water bottle refill option. I wished they had one of those filtered automatic water dispensers available in the general area.

The prices are specific to each business and seem to be fair for the service and experience you receive. I'm really excited to see what this marketplace will become once it's fully opened.

I guess that's a good thing if you're trying to find something to buy. I didn't really need anything specific, so looked at the cosmetic aisle and shoe department. I found a bunch of On shoes, which I would have been interested in. Problem is, I already have 3 extra pairs at home sitting in boxes. I looked at flip flops and ended up getting a pair of Nikes in my size. I also saw a pair of Olukai casual shoes and would have picked it up if it fit. The salesperson near the dressing room had access to inventory and told me there wasn't any in my size. That saved me a lot of time looking up and down the aisles. I left happy that I was able to find something to take home today.

I'm fed up with shopping centers that don't enforce parking for disabled people. Far too many shameless and socially ignorant people think it's OK to park in a space designated for handicapped when they do not possess the required plates and placards. It is illegal. What is the security staff doing about it? How hard is it to take a quick stroll to those areas and report to parking enforcement? Understand the Americans with Disabilities Act, that disabled people are in a protected group, and that private ownership leaves some discretion to the owner, but also opens up the business to civil suits when noncompliant with local and state laws. read more

The lack of security presence has become a significant issue. We had to leave because of the sheer number of unattended children running around, with parents seemingly turning a blind eye. The situation was exacerbated by kids playing in the fountain as if it were a water park. This chaotic environment makes it challenging for people who come here to shop and dine to enjoy their experience. It detracts from the atmosphere of the place, making it feel more like a playground than a shopping and dining destination, and raises concerns about safety and comfort for all visitors. read more

The Point is a welcome addition to the South Bay because they brought in several stores that were not already here: Madewell, Athleta, Kit and Ace, Mendocino Farms to name a few. These are stores that South Bay folks would have to drive a bit of distance to get to if they wanted to make online returns or eat. Welps, not anymore! Dogs are not allowed at The Point but I do see people breaking rules. Brand spanking new for folks to enjoy. read more

I despise coming here. Every employee that I've encountered has been rude, snobby, and low key racist. They'll look down on you and treat you like an outsider. Every shop, restaurant, even other shoppers will stare at you if you're foreign. Do better El Segundo/Manhattan Beach. This place absolutely lives up to their stereotypes. It's a clean outdoor mall with shops and restuarants. I like True Kitchen and Mendocinos at this place. The ice cream here is ok, not the best. There are lots of seats at The Point, so I like to sit and read or play on my phone there. Sometimes, I'll get a drink at Starbucks and hangout with friends. read more
