10/27/2021 Great place to hangout or meet with others. There's coffee nearby, food, theater when they open again. Relax, read a book or your phone, tablet, whatever. Just a good place to chill and let your kids run around.

Need to update for water bottles or at the very least have working water fountains

Needs accessible water. They do a great job of having bathrooms and keeping them cleaned. I love this "third space" for dining, snacks, community, etc. but it's definitely time for them to get a working water fountain especially for filling water bottles, that's been kind of a basic amenity in most public spaces and institutions for over a decade now

The Culver Steps is a nice & peaceful place to chill out with your loved ones or casual friend meetups. It's situated in the heart of Culver City between The Culver Studios and The Culver Hotel. This place is surrounded by restaurants, casual bistros and quick-bite eateries like coffee shops, Ice cream stores. Has a Sephora store too. The place is clean & maintained well. Parking is ample and easily available and is free up-to an hour or so. Kid friendly place Lots of outdoor seating area available. Worth checking this spot when you are in this part of the town.

Came here around 9:30 on a Saturday night with a friend. Honestly this is probably everyone's future date spot because there plenty of food options across the street, lots of parking, some shopping and some food in the same structure, and a really beautiful/romantic outdoor area to just sit and chill. There were a lot of couple that night, but still plenty of space to find a place to sit and maintain social distancing from other groups while getting cozy with your boo (or in my case gossip with my other single friend). Culver City may not be the most exciting part of LA, but these few blocks on Culver Blvd really feel like something out of a movie. If you're interested in the nearby eateries (we weren't) definitely come for a post-dinner/pre-night out ice cream at Salt n' Straw. Parking is ample and free for a certain amount of time (I forget how much, but we were there for 45 minutes and it was free so maybe an hour or two?). The parking system is brand new and works well (unlike parking in LA where you're fighting a 15 year old machine sometimes). And enjoy the blissful, picturesque backdrop of Culver: a place that can sometimes feel magical.

I really love this area! I love that there is Salt & Straw, Lululemon pop up for the summer, and a lot of great free activities and offerings! There are great places to sit and just hang out too. There is a Sephora and of course the 30 or so restaurants in downtown Culver.

The Culver Steps is the project that is located in the heart of downtown Culver City, adjacent to multiple historic and iconic structures, and the large underground parking garage is very convenient with reasonable rates, walkable distance to many restaurants and coffee shops. I have come here a few times for dining and walking.

Parking - One of the dealbreakers in my opinion. Especially during peak hours, it can feel like a maze here, you'll find that it's very easily to get lost here. Worse part is that parking is NOT FREE. However, there's parking validation but only specific stores. They don't tell you or list what stores give validation but even then, it's not for the whole duration and only for a specific time frame. A bit frustrating to deal with overall. However, there's plenty of good sides of the mall. The shops here are great, there's most of the stores that you'll find when it comes to luxury, and higher end shops. Ranges from Apple, Lucid, Tesla, Dyson, lululemon, Therabody, etc. The vibe here is very modern, lights up very nicely since it's a outdoor mall. It's very pretty here during the holidays, my wife and I came during Christmas to see all the holiday lights, Christmas Carols, and artificial snow, which turned out to our favorites. It was such a romantic and chill vibe, very cool to see this yearly. They often has collaboration events here such as these events, so be on the lookout for that. Food here is decent, over the years, they've added plenty of popular spots like Chick Fila, Shake Shack, but the staples here are most certainly Din Tai Fung, HaiDiLao Hot pot, Ramen Nagi, and plenty of other notable spots. I would say, they're all worthy to check out, just haven't had time to check them all out yet. Directory online and in person is very informative as well for the restaurants. Drinks wise, there's bars around the mall, but inside the mall, my go to here is Chagee Tea and Wushiland, both solid boba spots, Chagee of course is more trendy at the moment though. Very popular regardless. There's also Blue Bottle Coffee which I find very underrated. I absolutely love their Cascara Fizz, very much a soda like drink, definitely worth checking out as well.

Customer service on the phone for the parking is rude and hung up on me before I finished my sentence. Place may look nice, but there are much better places to go.

I don't think I go out of my way to visit the Grove, considering the distance and the difficulty of getting parking. Huge crowds, have to pay for parking, and even if you walk farther away, it's a risk to get towed and there's metered parking too that hit a 2 hour maximum, at least the last time I went there. Aside from accidentally wandering in here or being here for a specific event (seeing Yoshiki over a decade ago or the 20th anniversary Rilakkuma pop up, which was absolutely fisted with people), I've only wandered here on accident when hanging out with friends elsewhere. There's a good number of shops and eateries though, especially since it sort of shares the space/is right next to the Farmer's Market (great open area to go shop and to go dine). Large overlap of the same shops and eateries as the Americana, but there's things there that we don't have in Glendale. Lot of higher end businesses. Big fan of the La La Land Kind Cafe and what they do, their drinks, and their aesthetic. It's not a bad outdoors mall, considering how "fancy" it is, the fact that it's outside in the California sunshine, and the fountain with the Bellagio style musical water shows, but just know that the parking can get hideous.

The next week on a Friday, I pull in around 8:25pm and there's an attendant there so I told her about my experience before (validated ticket with no attendant) and she was not very helpful but said that there needs to be an attendant for a validated ticket to work. So, I asked how long she'll be there until, which she said 10pm. I left 15-20 minutes after entering the structure. As I was pulling up the gate, I SEE HER WALKING AWAY FROM THE GATE.
