Absolutely the best weekend brunch anywhere in the area. The Eggs Benedict is wonderful, (the ham and eggs are cooked perfectly and the Hollandaise is a lemon infused miracle), the bacon and potatoes are extry crispy, (just as nature intended), the Bananna Bread French Toast is so good, it feels like you're getting away with something, and the Steak Bites, (marinated in balsamic and red wine and served with a side of smoked gouda dream sauce), are simply outstanding. The servers are always super friendly, attentive, and accommodating. The place itself is very comfortable with plenty of nice seating options and room, (you're never crammed together), and has great atmosphere, (casual), decor, (cool and engaging), and lighting, (no glare in your face or food, and no overly bright fixtures), and there are ample screens to watch while they conjure the powerful magic of their kitchen. Highly recommended! read more

Id like to update my review with my response to the owner, because I feel it's only fair to make sure guests hear both sides to the story. This is a very unfortunate response. I'm not sure what you're viewing, but I had 2 guests with me. I also never "argued" with anyone. Your server did not greet us, did not apologize for what was happening right next to us. I simply said that is was quite rude of him to not say anything but to throw out my food, and then he pointed at the sign. If your server told you I argued with him. well, he's lying. I'm a big fan of The Bridge in West Seattle. So when I heard they were opening a new place in Burien, I didn't think they could replicate the same kind of customer service, inventive menu items and the cool as sh#$ aesthetic. Well, they did. I'm in love with the Get to the Point cocktail. I have learned that I cannot live without the lamb stuff jalapenos and that the staff greets me by my name when I walk in. I love this place. Was excited to check this place out as my girlfriend and I have been talking about it waiting for it to open. Now that it's open we went for burgers and a drink and we where both pretty disappointed with our food. To start with, when you order they ask you how you want your burger and I stated rare and my girlfriend was medium rare. I thought this was a good start as not every place asks. When the burger came out it was way overcooked, to the point of no pink and the meat overall just had a 'Meh' taste to it. Kind of food you'll eat to get full, but never look forward to. We also tried the lamb jalapeno poppers and I thought they where pretty good, I would give the poppers 4/5 and my burger 1/5. Overall I think the point is a good place to get a drink, but I would stay away from the burgers. read more

The Point is excellent if you are looking to have a few drinks and dinner with some friends. The food is good but the drinks are where The Point excels. Every time I have gone by the bartenders are very knowledgeable and can execute even simple drinks a cut above the rest. The down side is it closes earlier than some of the bars in town but if you are out for the night to shut Burien down, it is the best place to start. read more

I have been to The Point several times since it opened a couple months ago. Between my husband and I, we have sampled almost the whole lunch-dinner menu. Haven't been disappointed yet! Can't decide if I will have their totally tasty burger, the waffles & chicken (but I am a spice weenie so prefer plain maple syrup to their jalapeño infused syrup which my husband and son love), or if I will try the steak. But I will start with those delightfully delicately battered cheese curds as an appetizer. Good food. Good specialty drinks- the Three Tree Rita and the Get To The Point are my faves. & is an adults only venue. Music is loud enough to enjoy but not so I have to shout to be heard. & TV's in many locations with sporting events on all the time. Very much enjoy the atmosphere too! read more

Disappointing. I was going to let this one slide until they charged me .50 cents for a tablespoon of tartar sauce, even after they messed up our burgers. Twice. Who charges for a condiment??? If you are looking for the Waygu burger, don't go in at lunch, they have a limited menu and that burger is only served at dinner. (If this was stated on their website, we would have come in later.) Ordered the regular cheeseburger. Served to us with no cheese. They remade the burgers, which was nice...however the second batch was way undercooked. Also, the brioche bun is way too large and dry for the burger. And they fries are really subpar and greasy. The atmosphere is nice, however, and the cheese curds are perfect. read more

First of, let me talk about that jalepeno strawberry jam. Amazing! Sweet with a light warmth without being overwhelming. We always order extra to take home and put it on everything until it's gone! You get a generous size to take home for only $8. Have only sat in the outdoor patio, but servers are out often enough. Food is always great and while some seems pricey, it is usually enough for 2 meals and worth it. The drinks are also super tasty and of you're into vodka, try the back to the point drink! read more

Great wait staff and good eats. The specialty drink (La Florista) was smashing - lavender liqueur with a touch of tart over vodka! The atmosphere is like something you'd find in a good restaurant in Belltown - raw brick wall, nice wood bar, cool graphics on the walls. Outdoor seating as well. The Point is new, and the staff was friendly and eager to please. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. Plenty of big screens to keep you entertained if a game is on. There was a good selection of draft beers. The food was a little disappointing. The house salad was uninspired, but was fresh and crisp. The Point Pasta had a nice selection of vegetables and a nice sauce. If you want some light to eat, this would be a good choice. The lamb stuffed jalapeños were a big disappointment. The lamb was mushy, served with a salty and undercooked Mexican rice and black beans with too many onions. My friend found the jalapeño too spicy to taste the lamb. read more

The Point is like my second home! Hands down the best service in all of Burien. Everyone I encounter here is so personable and awesome! Always love the energy at this bar. My updated rating is due to the food served during brunch. The eggs benedict was served on a biscuit, that contributed to the overall mushiness of the dish. It would have been good, not for the biscuit it was served on. My husband ordered the breakfast burrito. It was a huge disappointment. The sauce was gross and tasted like they got it from a can at a discount store. I still enjoy the atmosphere and the prices are reasonable. I'd recommend dinner but certainly not brunch. I love this place. It's close to my place and the food was amazing. My favorite part is the sound boards on the ceiling. It really moderates the noise. We could talk comfortably even though the place was pretty packed. Our server, pretty sure her name was Kate, was awesome. She was so attentive and made the whole experience great. This is one of my favorite places in Burien. Every time I've been here I get a table right away. The food is amazing, love the Gouda cheese sauce for the beer battered fries. It's a must get! The burger is really juicy and flavorful as well as the chicken sandwich. The atmosphere is fun and on a nice summer day, there's outdoor seating as well as big windows that open up by the front tables. The employees have always been very friendly. read more

I saw the first rave reviews of this new sports bar and thought they might be friends of the owner...sounded too good to be true for soft opening experiences. My husband and I checked them out for dinner and were impressed. It is loud from the TVs everywhere but there are no kids which is great! We love 21 and older establishments! The food was fantastic higher quality bar food. The highlight for us was the deep fried chic peas but we enjoyed our entrees very much too. We will be back...I do hope the parking is not an issue. We came for brunch. The drinks, food and service were great. I don't particularly care for French toast but their banana bread French toast was really good. The ambiance is that of a divey bar which isn't fabulous for brunch but it is a bar so you shouldn't expect too much there. Great staff and AMAZING food. Gluten free options and their meat is all non-GMO. You can tell they put a lot of heart into providing an upscale casual bar/restaurant experience. We had a group of people go here for happy hour. Well I've been in this place before when it was Mick Kelly's and the food then was wonderful. Not so much for this place. It's got your basic booths, tables and lots of TV's. We ordered the following: cheese curds, spinach and artichoke dip, beer battered fries, fried green beans, tai basil wings and salsa and chips with guacamole. The cheese curds were by far the only decent tasting dish here. Tasteful but still too greasy. spinach and artichoke dip had some type of cheese that did not melt well or mesh well with the dish. Really tasteless. The beer battered fries were nondescript and you couldn't really tell that they were beer battered. The fried green beans were awful, really no taste and cooked badly. The tai basil wings had a sweet sauce but were incredibly salty. Finally the chips and salsa were nothing special either. The guacamole had a really odd taste and you could tell whoever made this was trying to make it go further by adding lots of onion. I would not go out of my way to come here for happy hour again. Granted we did not have dinner food but after tasting this I'm not game to come back and try. No go for me. read more

Sorry but the food is so not on point. Had brunch and I ordered the sausage potato hash w/ scrambled eggs. I have ever had a meal placed in front of me that looked more unappealing, like never. The eggs were greasy and gooey, so wrong. The hash had 5 small slices of sausage with greasy onions and flash fried potatoes. Husband had frozen reheated waffles. Seriously so disappointing. The waitress was so nice, so sorry I didn't have a good meal. Felt bad for her, she didn't hire the cook. Don't think we'll be back either way. read more
