Well I'm happy to say that it was great! My husband and I shared a Brooklyn Supreme pizza and we were both pleasantly surprised. There were plenty of toppings, the pizza and slices were big, and everything tasted great. It wasn't cheap but nothing is now and good pizza is hard to find. They told us it would take about 20 min to cook (we just walked in rather than calling ahead) and it was done in about 10 min. The outside seating area leaves something to be desired.. it could be a great spot during the sunny months. Overall I think we will eat there again.

When booking, I specifically explained that I did not want our group seated in the back of the restaurant. The employee helping us was very kind and offered us the patio instead, which we happily agreed to. Unfortunately, the evening before the event, the manager called and canceled the patio reservation, moving us to the back section instead. What made the situation frustrating was not just the last-minute change, but the lack of professionalism in handling it. There was no apology offered despite the reservation already being confirmed. Her communication felt dismissive and confrontational. But she eventually agreed to atleast seat us towards the center or the restaraunt. We were also told the patio was unavailable because of a separate event, yet on that day, the patio still had several open tables during our reservation time. The food here is good. But communication, professionalism, and customer service was signifanctly lacking. Had there been clearer communication, accountability, or even a simple apology somewhere in this process, the experience would have felt very different.

Immediately the aroma of Italian food hit me as I walked across the parking lot. I was handed a menu when I walked in stating I wanted pizza to go. Bigger menu than expected, a bit pricier than expected but seems to be the new norm. Most entrees around $20 ( pasta, salads, gyros, pita pizzas and sun sandwiches). Pizzas 3 sizes range about $20-$34. They also offer a weekday lunch special for $13 which is 2 slices of that day's topping choice plus soup or salad, 11-3:00. They also offer two soups as well as beer/cider on tap and various desserts about $10. I ordered the Spiro Special Pizza in med. $28, they were pleasant about switching out a couple toppings of equal value. Appreciated the side of extra sauces for $1 each. I requested the pizza to be crisp crust as we don't eat floppy pizza EVER lol. I waited about 15 minutes, not bad. I heard talk about the tort dressing being really good so I asked for a side to try, he happily gave me a couple. I couldn't wait to get the pizza out and serve it for my hubby and I. It looked so delicious I just knew it was going to be a winner. And yes it was!! We are pretty critical these days having enjoyed so many great places over the last few decades being in our early 60's. Crust was med-darker golden so the crust was crisp as we requested, plenty of thick sauce which my hubby appreciates, and the toppings/cheese felt quality. We were very happy campers finding this for our first pizza stop in Pt. Orchard . The medium gave us 8 slices, so it was a perfect two meals for us, given my side salad /fruit dish. The Alfredo sauce felt authentic being rich /creamy but felt it could use more garlic honestly. The so-call Roquefort dressing tasted to us like a really good ranch. Nothing about it spoke a blue cheese vibe which we love. Maybe we got ranch by accident. Either way I guess they both are great I'm sure! We will be back preferably to dine in. Would love to try a sub and mizithra pasta too! Good job!!

The ambiance is great, with a couple of different seating areas, AND a really nice patio area. Service was excellent, friendly, helpful and pretty well staffed, especially for this day and age. The pizza is definitely legitimate wood fired, nicely seared. (Not to Connecticut "smoldering" standards) and comes out fast, which is nice. If wood fired pizza is your thing, this place is top notch, best i've had on the peninsula.
