When we first got there they were playing a lot of 5-10 year old pop, but around 10 o'clock they had a DJ. I liked the music they were playing before (not to say the DJ wasn't playing good music) so if I had to guess, on the weekends it's probably less of a chill vibe and more of a dance place. The biggest appeal to me was the bartender's show. These guys flip bottles like no body's business. They even had a few choreographed tricks. They're crowd pleasers and very friendly. It seems that it was a lot busier than the restaurant had expected because they were definitely understaffed. Our waiter probably took 20 minutes to come to us to take our drink order and when he finally did, he stood in one end of the table struggling to hear us from the opposite end over the loud music. Don't understand why he couldn't simply walk over to our side. We waited another 10 minutes to actually get the drinks and for him to come around again to take our food order. Since service was so slow, we tried going straight to the bar and get drinks there, but they wouldn't take our orders because they had to be placed with our waiter. Food was pretty much the same, with the exception of the kitchen running out of multiple items by 11:30. I would have given this place 5 stars on the first visit alone: cheap food and drinks (great food quality for the value), absolutely great ambiance and fast/attentive service. But because we came back again and had such terrible and slow service, I'm giving them 3 stars.
