All instructors have all been trained in the PoleStar method that is physical therapy based. As a result, movements are adapted to individuals according to their abilities. I've been to other Pilates studios. There, My body didn't feel safe nor effectively or properly aligned. People come to Studio Pilates from all over Spokane, some traveling 45 minutes to get there when there are other studios much closer to them. They come because they see changes in their physical strength, flexibility and posture.

Picture this: Haven't worked out for a while…read more Recently had a baby. Need some "me" time and serious stretching. Enter a phenomenal yoga experience at Yashodhara! I had never even heard of this studio, but it is a total gem, especially for all you Browne's Addition yogis! It is right off of the Coeur d'Alene park in a little studio. The first time I visited I thought it was in a garage as I was walking up, but it is really a special space with banks of windows looking out onto leafy trees. This intimate studio fits about 10 folks in a class, so I would schedule your spot ahead of time if you wanted to make sure to have a place, (but we were able to do a drop in class). It was $12 for a drop in and the instructor accepted a few methods of payment. As we came into this class it was clear that everyone here was really serious about relaxing. There wasn't any nonsense about who had the coolest yoga gear, it was really about getting into the moment. No one judged me for wearing baggy sweatpants, haha! There was an awesome range of ages and I felt welcomed and able to focus from the beginning. The poses were accessible and I felt excellent deep stretching throughout my spinal area during this class. I also really liked the music used as the background. The instructor made sure to turn off the AC and fans at the end of the class for the relaxation time and opened the doors so we could hear the wind rustling through the trees. This detail, which totally added to the experience, was really special for me. It is nice to be still and mindful and I think the small class size added to the contemplative nature of this studio. I was pretty sure I was going to be struggling in the class, but instead I felt uplifted and ready to take on another day after the class! Thanks Yashodhara! I'll be back!

Plus had to purchase a $3 towel to go over the mat. Worth every penny because you sweat a lot. Class was good. Instructor moved a little to fast for my brain. It was my first time so I didn't know the moves she was calling out. Great close though. Second time was Saturday for Hot Hatha. Elyse was the absolute best instructor. She's so kind and patient. She helped me adjust down to my extremely minimal skill level and lack of flexibility. I felt so welcomed by her. Fantastic experience. Prepare to sweat like crazy but feel so good about yourself. This really helped get me in a good mindset for the day. I wish I had more time in my schedule to devote to BEYOUTIFUL

Physzique Fitness is a joke…read more...... My wife and I were loyal clients of that gym (Kennewick Studio) since January of 2016. We joined because we wanted to try something new and participate in a fitness challenge to see what kind of results we could get if we were held accountable. We paid a total of $521.28 to participate in that challenge. We met a lot of great people and had awesome trainers. We both ended up doing extremely well but unfortunately did not win that challenge. My wife and I participated in a second challenge in May of 2016. We spent $590.00 total for the challenge and monthly dues for the chance to win some of our money back if we placed in the challenge. Once again, we did well, we were told we made top 3 male and female for that challenge, but were unaware we had won prize money until we received a letter from Physzique in September. The letter stated we both won $250 and would have to fill out the included W-9 tax forms before receiving our checks. It also stated our checks would be mailed out by November 18th 2016. We both were excited that we would be receiving a 'Christmas Bonus'. I received an email from Physzique on November 22nd that included a generic 'We are sorry to inform you' letter stating that due to the fact they closed the Kennewick, West Richland, and Yakima studios, they had to freeze their funds and could not pay us our winnings. I immediately responded to the email that day requesting answers. By December 6th, I had not received any kind of response. I called Physzique's office in Spokane and explained my situation to the girl that answered the phone. She had no answers for me and sent me to the voicemail of someone in billing that supposedly would have answers. No one answered the phone and I had to leave a message requesting a call back. I waited for a call until January 4th, 2017 and had yet to receive one. So, I called back and again spoke to someone who had no answers. I asked to be sent to someone who could give me answers and again received the voicemail. I left another message requesting a call back. I waited for a call until January 9th and had yet to receive one. I called back again and this time asked to speak to the owner, I was put on hold for a minute or two and then told the owner was not there (Imagine that) but I could be sent to his voicemail. I left a voicemail for the owner (Zack) requesting his call back as soon as possible. I waited for a call until January 16th and surprise, surprise, still no call. I called back again and spoke to a girl named Nicole who too did not have any answers for me. She told me that the owner and his assistant were both out of the office (Convenient) and asked if I wanted to be sent to Zack's voicemail again. I told her no, that does not seem to work, and asked her to write a message down and put it on his desk stating I have been calling for the past two months and have not received any answers. She stated she would leave a message for me. I called again on January 19th since I had still not heard anything. I spoke to Nicole again and was told the owner was not in (Starting to see a pattern here). Nicole stated she would leave another message for me. I called today and spoke with a girl named Christina (sp?) and again was told that the owner and his assistant were out of the office. I asked her if she had any way of getting a hold of the owner and she said yes. I requested that she get a message to the owner, however she can, and let him know that I would like some answers on why we have yet to receive the money. I don't like bad talking companies, but this has been the most unprofessional and ridiculous experience I have ever encountered in dealing with a business. I also find it interesting that Physzique continues to have challenges and award banquets for their remaining studios while leaving winning participants wondering why they have not received their winnings months after they were promised. I wish they had negative stars....

Please do not go to this business, well unless you want to be treated badly for trying your hardest…read moreto lose weight. You are being trained in a group setting. There is NOTHING about be trained personally at all. They try to sell themselves as personal trainers but, their is nothing personal about them. Most of the trainers are flabby so, they are not very motivating at all. They do NOT teach form, so you can get physical hurt very easy. I will never go to this business ever again, especially the way I was talked down to and treated.
