She used to have a studio prior to Covid and the women I met there are still some of my closest friends. I was excited when she re- opened because not only is it a beautiful studio with fabulous instructors, but it has the same warmth her old studio had. Sometimes group workouts can be intimidating, but the atmosphere at Barre Length and Strength is so supportive and welcoming, I actually look forward to working out! The results are incredible. I'm on week 2 and my entire body is sore, but also looking more toned! Try it out! You won't be disappointed!

The owner was so welcoming and flexible with us, even setting up an extra class time one week so we could make it when our schedules prevented us from joining the usual times. I moved to Spokane several months ago and was determined to get back to regular lifting again and…read moreto help improve my form. I read-up and checked out all of the highly reviewed trainers in town, but found most of them either had inconsistent customer feedback or didn't really focus on weightlifting.... Biju is different and not only looked the part but has also demonstrated over the course of ~20 workouts a deep knowledge of each muscle group, which movements target each specific muscles, and how to get the most gains out of workouts. I'm impressed by the physical changes of my body over a short time and how no two workouts are ever the same. Each session is one hour and targets two muscle groups (back/biceps, chest/triceps, and shoulders/legs). I also appreciated that he doesn't focus on any injury prone / dangerous movements as past trainers have had me do exercises that inevitably lead to a hurt back etc. which put me out of action for several weeks. I highly recommend Biju and you won't find a better trainer in Spokane if you want to focus on building muscle. His prices are also very reasonable and they are a well run family business.

Physzique Fitness is a joke…read more...... My wife and I were loyal clients of that gym (Kennewick Studio) since January of 2016. We joined because we wanted to try something new and participate in a fitness challenge to see what kind of results we could get if we were held accountable. We paid a total of $521.28 to participate in that challenge. We met a lot of great people and had awesome trainers. We both ended up doing extremely well but unfortunately did not win that challenge. My wife and I participated in a second challenge in May of 2016. We spent $590.00 total for the challenge and monthly dues for the chance to win some of our money back if we placed in the challenge. Once again, we did well, we were told we made top 3 male and female for that challenge, but were unaware we had won prize money until we received a letter from Physzique in September. The letter stated we both won $250 and would have to fill out the included W-9 tax forms before receiving our checks. It also stated our checks would be mailed out by November 18th 2016. We both were excited that we would be receiving a 'Christmas Bonus'. I received an email from Physzique on November 22nd that included a generic 'We are sorry to inform you' letter stating that due to the fact they closed the Kennewick, West Richland, and Yakima studios, they had to freeze their funds and could not pay us our winnings. I immediately responded to the email that day requesting answers. By December 6th, I had not received any kind of response. I called Physzique's office in Spokane and explained my situation to the girl that answered the phone. She had no answers for me and sent me to the voicemail of someone in billing that supposedly would have answers. No one answered the phone and I had to leave a message requesting a call back. I waited for a call until January 4th, 2017 and had yet to receive one. So, I called back and again spoke to someone who had no answers. I asked to be sent to someone who could give me answers and again received the voicemail. I left another message requesting a call back. I waited for a call until January 9th and had yet to receive one. I called back again and this time asked to speak to the owner, I was put on hold for a minute or two and then told the owner was not there (Imagine that) but I could be sent to his voicemail. I left a voicemail for the owner (Zack) requesting his call back as soon as possible. I waited for a call until January 16th and surprise, surprise, still no call. I called back again and spoke to a girl named Nicole who too did not have any answers for me. She told me that the owner and his assistant were both out of the office (Convenient) and asked if I wanted to be sent to Zack's voicemail again. I told her no, that does not seem to work, and asked her to write a message down and put it on his desk stating I have been calling for the past two months and have not received any answers. She stated she would leave a message for me. I called again on January 19th since I had still not heard anything. I spoke to Nicole again and was told the owner was not in (Starting to see a pattern here). Nicole stated she would leave another message for me. I called today and spoke with a girl named Christina (sp?) and again was told that the owner and his assistant were out of the office. I asked her if she had any way of getting a hold of the owner and she said yes. I requested that she get a message to the owner, however she can, and let him know that I would like some answers on why we have yet to receive the money. I don't like bad talking companies, but this has been the most unprofessional and ridiculous experience I have ever encountered in dealing with a business. I also find it interesting that Physzique continues to have challenges and award banquets for their remaining studios while leaving winning participants wondering why they have not received their winnings months after they were promised. I wish they had negative stars....
