They have several service offerings besides massage, such as yoga, Pilates, and acupuncture. They also have a robust staff, ensuring there's a professional that's suited to anyone's needs. My masseuse in particular, Deborah "Debbie" Marasco, is highly educated, trained, skilled, and experienced. She is also very knowledgeable about other body-related subjects and has given me great insight and recommendations on such. She is a lovely person, and we have great conversations. I'm quite a chatterbox, and she indulges me. If you prefer silence during your sessions, she adjusts to your needs.

I've had so many massages in my lifetime from many different therapists, but this one might have been the best! I would highly recommend going to MYO for body work. However, I would also suggest calling before scheduling online so you can make sure to get matched with the best person for your needs. While they will take care of you if you're not happy with your service, it's better for everyone if you get the best service every time. The front desk staff and the manager are very friendly and efficient. They are some of the best in the business as well!

I came here for a Third Thursday promotion for more than half off of their drop in prices so please…read morekeep this review in mind as someone that has not committed to a membership yet. Third Thursdays here introduced me to a third space that people are so often lacking in the 2020s. Ceremony is a social spa where it feels like a homestay with amenities geared towards wellness. It's not like those medical-inspired clinics where things feel sterile (albeit safe) and intimidating. It's inviting and warm to match their encouragement of conversation. I'm greeted by healthy plants, fresh pumpkin-apple-bread and a tour of the space. The main facilities are an indoor cold plunge, an outdoor barrel sauna (both pictured), an even colder outdoor cold plunge, and an even hotter indoor sauna. Showers and a restroom is available as well as other services relating to east Asian practices, massages, scrubs, etc. If you're feeling like you need a break, there's a few couches in a homey lounge to sit on. There was a tea event happening in one of the rooms as well. Despite coming for a scheduled event, it actually wasn't busy at all (probably because it's a come-and-go situation over the span of 3 hours). It gives way to organic conversation and movement around the space as you participate in contrast therapy. I recommend starting with the more mild temperature-d facilities before moving onto the higher magnitude ones. It's not a gigantic space, but it's something that you can only expect in similar cities like Austin where people are willing to make a space like this and are not hampered by extremely cold temperatures. Getting a pack of drop-ins is most economic option since you can get the price down to around $25 for usage of their facilities that day. They also don't seem like sticklers that make you feel watched or pressured about anything. I can imagine those that come here feel like they are friends with the people that work here. If you're looking to connect with people, your body, and yourself, this is a great place to try.

It's quiet, clean, professional, and very comfortable. I felt at ease immediately as she listened to my medical history with a warm smile. The massage itself was amazing. Need a great masseur in Austin???…read more Well I have to say I have found one of the best! I had actually been turned off to massage over the last few years and Elizabeth Meador a licensed Massage Therapist here in Austin has changed all that for me. I have frequent pain in my neck and back and let's face it for those of us who live on a computer 8-10 hours a day 6 days a week who doesn't experience some type of chronic neck or back pain from being hunched over a monitor all day? So suffice it to say I really am so impressed when her technique, soothing personality, and tranquil environment... so much so, that I have already set my next appointment for the beginning of December! She is truly gifted... Elizabeth does integrative massage, deep tissue massage, prenatal / post-partum massage, and craniosacral therapy which is (& I am totally stealing this verbiage from her website) an amazing tool for helping the body release stuck energy in a very non-invasive way. Using cues from the cranio-sacral rhythm (the flow of cerebro-spinal fluid from the brain through the spinal cord), we can tap into areas of restriction. A session will include 10-steps for helping the body release the restrictions in the craniosacral system, namely the skull, spinal cord and meninges of the brain and spinal cord. By releasing these areas, we can experience release of deeply held tension, pain and anxiety. Email her to setup an appointment: elizabeth@meadormassage.com
