Both Brandy and Ruth are experienced, but all my visits have been with Brandy. She provides excellent therapy for sports related problems. Brandy has both strong hands and sensitivity in her ability to find trouble spots and the release points to solve problems. The office is pleasant, the on-line scheduler is very convenient, and I never have had to wait after arriving for an appointment. Highly recommended for therapeutic massage. There are two fantastic things about this place right off the bat! First, they allow you to make appointments online! That's huge for me as I never seem to find time to call to make appointments. I made an appointment for Saturday on a Thursday night, so it was nice that so many times were still available. The second thing is always a bonus for me: location. I don't know why it's hard to find decent businesses up here in North Austin. This place is so close to me that I biked to my appointment! My appointment was with Ruth. I arrived just in time as it took me a bit longer to bike there than I thought it would. Ruth was very gracious and did not mind that I was sweating like a pig from riding so fast. I've been seeing Brandy every other week for 2+ years. Totally amazing massage therapist (and person)! I have chronic pain in my wrists due to working at a computer all day. My neck, shoulders, and back are also incredibly tight. She's able to get in there super deep and really work out all those kinks. This is a very intense massage! ITS RIGHT NEXT TO STAR BUCKS! It took me a minute to find the place, but I made it. It's in a little suit inside "CLEAN SLATE WAXING", between Starbucks and Tino's Greek Cafe. Now for the Review. I love this place. Brandy was great, she catered to my needs exactly. I needed a massage last minute before my Jiu Jitsu tournament on Saturday and she was able to help (she's also the massage therapist for the Texas stars, so you know she's been doing something right). Showed up for my appointment and got the paperwork out of the way and in less than 5 minutes we were able to start. Brandy asked me about any specific injuries I have, my shoulders and a rib in my back, and did a GREAT job of working them out, though it was a bit uncomfortable full range of motion is important in what I do. After the massage, she made some recommendations for tools to use in between massage sessions (lacrosse or tennis ball) and foam roller to help with various parts of the massage.
