And people wonder why I don't drive. In an area full of strip malls, at 600,000 square feet, CSVC is a unnavigable whopper with a parking lot that might as well be The Danger Room. http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-hdjQ9NFOF34/TlMM5DgzKRI/AAAAAAAAHS4/WlxzgkXPB-o/s1600/john_byrne_x-men_danger_room_1980_510px.jpg Around every bend is a fender bender waiting to occur. Built in 1976, it was expanded in 1980 and expanded again in 1983. Ten years later, it was remodeled and ten years after that it was expanded once more. There are the usual department stores, supermarkets, chain eateries, and a movie theater among other businesses. As a youth, I came here fairly often to visit Chuck E. Cheese, the rodent that robbed and murdered the inhabitants of Showbiz Pizza Place with his gang of knock-offs. Astoundingly, it still stands and thrives.

Charters Valley Shopping Center is the largest of the four. Anchored by KMart, Home Depot, Giant Eagle, and the Distinta theatre, this chaotic shopping plaza is a nightmare to navigate through. Other noteworthy tenants are the DMV, Dunham's sporting goods, sonic burgers, and more.

Overall prices are reasonable. Stores include Starbucks, First Watch, North Park Lounge, Burgatory, Fine Wine and Good Spirits, and more. Friendly service and good staff from the stores I've visited. Located along Rt 22 at the entrance of Murrysville. Nice stop when biking the Westmoreland Heritage Trail. That all said I miss the hotel and pool that used to be there, showing my age apparently? Haha ENJOY but have your head on a swivel when coming or going!

Is it located right off William Penn Highway so is easily accessible. Examples of restaurants here are Burgatory, First Watch, Jersey Mike's Subs, Moe's Southwest Grill, North Park Lounge, and Starbucks Coffee. Examples of other businesses are Fine Wine and Good Spirits, Goddard School, Mattress Warehouse, Philip Pelusi Salon, Pure Barre, and Sport Clips Haircuts. Overall, I think that this mall looks nice and is in good condition. I like some of the restaurants, but I do not do much shopping in the stores. Furthermore, the parking lot is sort of small, so I sometimes have to wait a short time to find a parking spot.

The stores sell accessories, clothing, footwear, electronics, furniture, craft supplies, home decor, home-improvement products, pet supplies, video games, chocolates, etcetera. The stores are definitely not upscale (e.g., Best Buy, Cabela's, JCPenney, Kohl's, Menards, Old Navy, Target, and Walmart), but they sell what local people need. The restaurants serve cuisines such as burgers, fried chicken, pizzas, Mexican foods, Japanese foods, steaks, ice creams, etcetera. Most restaurants are chains (e.g., Bob Evans, Eat 'n Park, Fusion Steakhouse, Jimmy John's, Primanti Bros., and Texas Roadhouse), and all have a casual atmosphere. Service businesses provide healthcare, nail and hair styling, cell-phone plans, banking, etcetera. Entertainment includes a movie theater, simulated golf, and a sports complex. Over the past several years, I have visited this shopping center multiple times. It is conveniently located for people who live near Wheeling city, Eastern Ohio, or Southwestern Pennsylvania and for people who are traveling through the area.

This indoor mall has two floors and over 150 stores. The anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Luxury/designer stores include Burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co., Kate Spade, and Tory Burch. The mall also has many lower-priced clothing stores, including American Eagle, Banana Republic, Buckle, Chico's, Express, GAP, H&M, Hollister, J.Crew, J.Jill, Levi's, LOFT, Madewell, PacSun, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, and Zumiez. Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. The mall also has electronics stores such as Apple and phone stores. Stores for home goods include Crate and Barrel, RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), Tempur-Pedic, and Williams-Sonoma. Current restaurants are Auntie Anne's, Cheesecake Factory, Plaza Azteca, Nordstrom Ruscello, several casual restaurants in the food court, etcetera. Unlike many other indoor malls, Ross Park Mall is not dead. Most store fronts are occupied, and only a few store fronts are empty and awaiting future retailers.
