The anchor stores are JCPenney, Macy's, and Dick's Sporting Goods. The many other stores in the mall offer a decent variety of clothing, shoes, accessories, home decor, cosmetics, electronics, toys, and more. Restaurants include a mixture of local and national: Applebee's, Charley's Philly Steaks, Chick-fil-A, Chipotle Mexican Grill, Chuck E. Cheese's, Edo Hibachi Steakhouse, HoneyBaked Ham, Longhorn Steakhouse, Mangia, Panda 8, Panera Bread, Pita Paul's Gyros, Sbarro, Stir Fry 88, etc. The mall also contains Live! Casino and an AMC movie theater. For years, I have shopped occasionally at this mall. The building is maintained, clean, and safe, and it has plenty of parking spaces outside. Not all of my favorite stores are here, but I always find at least some nice things to buy. My favorite stores here include Aerie, American Eagle Outfitters, Hallmark, LOFT, and The Sweet Bone Bakery.

Yes, there are some empty storefronts, but there are also exciting and fun new additions coming (like Dicks House of Sports). Aside from the standard retail giants, this location has some fun local options. They have a branch of Greenhouse Winery where you can sample wines and purchase by the bottle or glass and a new spirits store that carries a variety of tequilas and serves several different margaritas. The most unique feature is that there is a casino and events space that is a part of the mall. So there really is a little bit of everything. The mall has a small(ish) food court, but it is nice that there are those options. They seem to be doing a great job with maintenance as the escalators and elevators always seem to be in working order and the space is always bright and clean. They also don't seem to have the loitering problem other malls seem to have. There is plenty of parking all around the space and the parking lot is well maintained. If you want a mall experience that doesn't feel dead and dreadful, this is a great one to visit!

Other current businesses include a few restaurants, two banks, a GNC supplements store, and a Hallmark greeting card store. Inside the Target is a CVS pharmacy. The parking lot is large enough so that I can find a parking spot that is close to the entrances of the stores. The mall is located along a busy road, but the area seems to have a low crime rate and is clean. McKnight Road has several other shopping centers. This strip mall is not the best mall, because it has few stores and does not sell many clothes, but it is good for people who live in the area or who happen to be traveling close by.

Today it has dozens of stores and restaurants. Restaurants include Chick-fil-A, Crumbl Cookies, Fortune Star Buffet, Hello Bistro, MadMex, Panera Bread, etcetera. In addition, this mall also includes a few banks: Bank of America, Dollar Bank, and PNC. I occasionally shop here. I am most interested in women's clothing, pet supplies, and restaurants. For me, the parking lot has had a sufficient number of spaces, and the area feels fairly safe.

I will say, once they blocked off and planned the Chick-Fil-A drive through, traffic flow has gotten a lot better. But people still need to pay better attention when they are driving through. This plaza has a little of everything. Pizza, Panera, Chinese, Salads and cookies. Two optical places, clothing (Old Navy, Lane Bryant, Marshalls, Carters), a furniture store, pet store and more. There are often pot holes, but they do seem to take are of them fairly quickly. And there are several entrances and exits, one with a traffic signal that makes things easier. Much like a lot other area plazas, it seems to have been designed with a lot less traffic and cars than are typically there. Other than the craziness of parking, it is a great spot where you can find basically everything but a grocery store.

So many shops seem to have vacated the premises. I visit McCandless Crossing mostly for the Cinemark and the Longhorn Steakhouse. The entire shopping center is safe and clean, and it has lots of sidewalks and parking spaces. Many residential townhouses are located *right next to* the parking lot, which my husband thinks is funny, but apparently people enjoy living there.

Most recently, I shopped in several of its retail stores. I felt happy with the availability of parking spaces in the free lot and with the selection and prices of merchandise in the stores. My favorite stores here are the Kohl's and the Fine Wine & Good Spirits. I think that this strip mall is for people who either live in the area or who are passing through while visiting other businesses nearby.
