Pittsburgh does not have as many upscale malls as do larger cities, and I think that Ross Park Mall is the fanciest mall that we have. This indoor mall has two floors and over 150 stores. The anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Luxury/designer stores include Burberry, Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Tiffany and Co., Kate Spade, and Tory Burch. The mall also has many lower-priced clothing stores, including American Eagle, Banana Republic, Buckle, Chico's, Express, GAP, H&M, Hollister, J.Crew, J.Jill, Levi's, LOFT, Madewell, PacSun, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, and Zumiez. Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. The mall also has electronics stores such as Apple and phone stores. Stores for home goods include Crate and Barrel, RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), Tempur-Pedic, and Williams-Sonoma. Current restaurants are Auntie Anne's, Cheesecake Factory, Plaza Azteca, Nordstrom Ruscello, several casual restaurants in the food court, etcetera. Unlike many other indoor malls, Ross Park Mall is not dead. Most store fronts are occupied, and only a few store fronts are empty and awaiting future retailers. read more

As far as malls go, this one is better than Parkway Center mall. :) I grew up in the mega mall era and Pittsburgh had some great ones. Those once mighty malls like Monroeville and Century III have either disappeared or gone way downhill. Robinson and Pittsburgh mills were "newer" but never thrived. However, Ross Park Mall continues to excel in a the retail wasteland that's overcoming many retail destinations. They have some nice stores like Spencers, Foot Locker, Hot Topic and the Dakota Watch Company. They also have some bargain stores for the everyday Pittsburgh working family like Tory Burch, Louis Vuitton, Nordstrom and Tiffany and Co. There's a food court, some table service places, anchor stores and your typical mall staples as well. Getting here can sometimes be a challenge as you typically enter from McKnight Rd. and have a pretty big hill to climb to the mesa on which the mall is built. It's symbolic as this mall is probably the King of the Hill of malls in the area. If you think the mall is dead, make the trek to the North Hills of Pittsburgh and visit this location where you won't find rows of stores empty and be afraid to walk around. read more

Most of the workers are kind, the selection is not that good due to the stores mainly all containing the same stuff like shoe stores or clothing, Most of the stuff there like the little stores or shacks in the middle is pretty pricey but nice, and most of the food is pretty cheap and I love that Starbucks in there. Went to store recently to see if my charger port could get worked on so the charger would allow my phone to charge. Spoke with store associate Jewl last Monday and she kindly agreed to see if it could be cleaned out since my i-phone 11 does not have the capability to swap out the charger port only. She went to the back and cleaned it out and the charger works much better now. When I go to purchase a new i-phone I will definitely be looking to the Ross Park Mall store and Jewl specifically for help. read more

Very clean and well kept, many designer stores and almost no vacant storefronts. Includes a three story Macy's, new dicks sporting goods, and many other anchors. Only issue is a lack of food court and confusing mall layout, but other than that this is a great place to shop. read more

Hate this mall more than anything. Was heckled by man at kiosk for no reason. So many potholes. Not too many decent stores. Food court is awful. Macys is 1000 degrees, so it's hard to shop there. Service is average at best. Not much selection. Took my grandmother here and she was sweating so much it looked like she just went swimming. Terrible. read more

Decided to visit during the peak of holiday shopping season. The mall was packed, which was a good sign for its survival. Like Monroeville Mall, Pittsburgh City Proper doesn't really have a need for a mall but it fills a need in the more distant and car-dependent suburbs. Speaking of car-dependence: a major drawback of this mall is its incredibly confusing bus stop system. There was some construction in progress that made the outgoing bus stop much more difficult to find than it needed to be. The construction, like the foot traffic, is a good sign for the mall, but it was incredibly inconvenient for individuals who commute by bus rather than by car. Then again, the mall wasn't designed with the not-car-having population in mind. Some of the highlights: Psycho Bunny store. I dig the aesthetic and logo, but 100 USD for a polo shirt is a little bit questionable. The food court has a diverse selection that goes above and beyond, and is vastly superior to the one at Monroeville Mall. The Hot Topic store in this mall has an excellent selection of store-brand products that hearken back to the chain's heyday. There is a Journey's, but also a discount/outlet store selling similar products. The Nordstrom's Coffee Shop is a highlight. Some drawbacks: there is no movie theater or bookstore on-site at the mall, as opposed to the Monroeville Mall. There is a separate movie theater and a separate bookstore within driving distance on either side, but the lack of these services at the mall is a count against it. Worth a visit for your centralized holiday shopping needs, but if you want the full mall experience Monroeville does one better. read more

DO NOT!!! I REPEAT DO. NOT. Go to Europe Nails & Spa in Ross Park Mall to the nail salon. They did a terrible job with my pink nail polish still in the corners from two weeks prior to this from the Barbie movie & they refused to fix it the next day when I went in. It was also peeling off, that mint green polish I wanted that they used. This started to happen to me an hour after I left there. They told me to come in then next day to waste more gas & I told them I couldn't & that I had family stuff to do & court so I couldn't come in the next day. They should have fixed it then & there when I was there because they didn't even close for another 3.5 hours. So Ridiculous!!! You don't make the customer come back in! They're so unprofessional & this was a waste of my valuable time & $$$. ‍ read more

Stopped here recently for the third time, and this seemed somewhat smaller than recent memory.. it looks like they are doing renovation at one end and possibly making the H&M larger which has shut down that part of the mall - but in general, this is a fine place to shop while in the area. The mall is very clean, and the shops are a nice variety of affordable to high dollar - so it encompasses everyone's budgets and needs. Highly recommended as a place to shop while in PGH and looking to get away from the downtown hustle and bustle. Just about a 15min drive (10 min highway) read more

Ross Park mall has really upped its game over the last few years. It was and probably always will be my favorite mall in Pittsburgh (while malls are still a thing), but it's definitely above the rest. The size of it alone warrants talk. It's massive. Two huge floors which encompasses hundreds of stores. They have They have flagships likes Macy's, Nordstrom and JC Penney. They also have a ton of other great stores that aren't always seen in other malls like Fabletics, Peloton, and Casper. Of course they have the staples like Spencers, J. Crew, Gap and Hot topic. They've also got a Starbucks and a chai time inside to quench your thirst while you shop. Of course there is also a huge food court too with about 8-10 options. My go to mall when I'm in the area. Great options. Parking isn't an issue unless it's a holiday. Love it. read more

Very nice and clean mall in the area. There were a lot of shops (including high-end shops) and everything was very well-organized. The food court is located on the second floor, and I was surprised to see they had a Chick-fil-A in the food court. The only thing that was interesting was that this mall was at the top of a hill! I'm glad we came during the summer; I can't imagine how difficult it is to get uphill during the wintertime. read more

Chandler and Joey didn't even have cars, and as for Ross, well he had one, but he was awful at parking. What? Did you never see Ross Park? Anyway, this is a pretty good Mall with easy parking access to any part of it if you know where you're going. For example I was able to park right next to a Bubble Tea shop that was the reason I came here - and that is the reason it gets 3 stars because it's a great Bubble Tea shop. The other time we came here it seemed like we were here 4 hours and went in every store. A lot of the stores are way overpriced, and that's why it scores 3. Also it's a bit hard to get to, situated on hills with tricky lights and stop signs and bad drivers. Still a cool place though. read more

First time here. I am clearly in over my head. I am used to Monroeville Mall close to my house and like it there. I walked in to this mall and the store names and shopper attire clued me in right away "there was money in these here hills"! I came to return a purchase. I ended up eating in the food court and walking the mall just to take in the abundance of people and all the high end stores which included the likes of Louis Vuitton, Tory Burch, Tiffany. Nice selection and bustling businesses. Also decent variety in the food court. Will I be back? Yes. Saw some stores such as Lucky Brand and Pottery Barn I don't have closer to me and would be nice to peruse (that is when in not buying online instead)! read more

As far as Moscow this one is pretty awesome. This mall has most things that you are looking for to include a build a bear workshop and a good diver chocolate store! Did I mention that there is a small Starbucks on the lower level in the middle of the mall? Pretty cool my husband and I decided to do a little afternoon shopping and I was not disappointed with this mouth I had to get my daughter some shorts and flip-flops' go figure it is summer right? This mall is super easy to navigate and you don't find yourself getting lost with where things may be as soon as you walk in there's a directory. I also like how the kiosk in the middle of the mall are not harassing you constantly when you walk past them they simply wait for you to walk up to them and then they pants! Which is fine by me if I woke up to your kiosk I'm happy with you asking me about your questions it's just when I walk past that I do not want to be bothered like most people trying to shop and not be bothered in a mall. If I find myself back in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania for whatever reason I will definitely be visiting the Mall again. read more

This mall is not one of the best in the area. Over Christmas I was at this mall and well there is a lot to be desired. First off what's up with the mall security and they way they interact with people? I saw numerous officers harassing younger people as they shopped. Now they clearly were shopping at the mall and I saw two groups get stopped and told they had to move along. They were walking and not stopped! I get you don't want people just being there but come on. Also you should really just advertise that you close at 7-8 every day. Most stores start closing at 6 pm to 7pm. If I would have known this I would have come earlier. It's also very clear they don't invest into the mall. Lights out in the parking lot which creates a security issue. read more

One of my favorite shopping places. I swear they have every store! Two new additions I noticed today - American Girl and Moonshine Chocolate. The mall is always very clean. My favorite shops include Francesca's, Pottery Barn and Altered State. They have everything from Payless shoes to Tiffany & Co. the food court has a wide array of choices or you can choose from California Pizza Kitchen and the Cheesecake Factory. The surrounding area has additional shops - The Container Store, Ulta, Kohl's. Great area to be in if you are visiting the city for travel or visiting family. read more

I went to the Ross mall yesterday as I mainly came for my Apple iPad needed replacement. The mall is really nice and is 2 levels. It has many of my favorite stores as well as some that I have never seen before but love now. Some of my favorites are Apple of course also godiva and auntie anne's pretzels & Starbucks. But i was surprised to see a see's candies here I have been getting candy from them for years but strictly online. it was great to see one in a mall. The mall i laid out very nicely and has tons of parking. The mall has all the major department stores as well like Macy's' Nordstrom's, Jc Penney & Sears. There also has a descent size food court which even had a Panera Bread in it pretty cool. Overall probably around 100 stores or so. I will definitely come to the Ross mall many more times in the future. read more

I am so impressed with what Pittsburgh has to offer. The sights, sounds and people make Pittsburgh a great spot for vacationing. Part of the allure for me is the Ross Park Mall. It is the biggest mall in Pittsburgh and it is beautiful. I can't believe how well they keep a mall this size clean, plants watered, and tables in the food court wiped down. It's not as packed as malls I'm use to so getting around is a breeze. They have leather seat to sit on while you wait and its well lite. I must have saw ever brand be represented in this mall. You could be here for hours and still not cover the whole mall. Since I got to Pittsburgh I have yet to be disappointed. I will definitely come back even if my team isn't playing. Just to come to this mall alone was worth the trip here. read more

This mall is always crowded. Always. Parking can be a pain sometimes. If coming from Pittsburgh, go to the first exit for mall (after half price books) Turn right towards the hill which will lead you to jcpennys. Always a space there and JCP is in the middle of the mall near food court. Parking is hard to find at main entrance (LLbean, cheesecake factory ect.) You do get lucky sometime near Crate & barrel or Nordstrom. There are many high end stores here as well as family favorites... Old navy, bath body works ect. This mall has the best kid area. I only know BC I have a 5 year old niece. We've been to every mall play area and this ones so cool. I do most of my retail shopping on McKnight road since all of my favs are on one stretch. Usually I hit up the mall while shopping. Not always but sometimes. :) read more

Ross Park Mall is the only mall in our city with the some of the best stores in the city. They are adding a Starbucks in their center section. The mall hosts a variety of stores ranging from affordable to designer shopping. Macy's holds the best selection in the city. Nordstrom has a nice sit down cafe. On the negative side,the mall's location is suited best towards the people who live north of the city. It is not worth a drive out there when one lives in a different area suburb. Parking is often overcrowded and difficult to find a spot. Traffic is usually congested when leaving the mall. It is the only mall that has upscale shopping such as Louis Vuitton , Burberry, Tumi, and Tiffany to name a few. They have room to grow and expand. It would be nice to see a Links of London store there. read more
