During my most recent visit, this mall had some empty storefronts but was far from dying. In 2026, the anchor stores are Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. Examples of clothing stores are American Eagle, Children's Place, Express, H&M, LOFT, and Victoria's Secret. Examples of stores for shoes and accessories are Foot Locker, Journeys, Lids, and Shoe Dept. Service businesses include salons, cell-phone carriers, optometrists, and the National Guard. Restaurants include several national chains such as Auntie Anne's and Cinnabon as well as local restaurants such as ChinaMax and Moon Sushi. The parking lot has a sufficient number of spaces for vehicles, even on the busier weekends, and the interior of the mall looks safe and clean.

The staff working on this particular day were more concerned about eating their lunch that was just dropped off at the store. They knew nothing to solve my daughter's problem in fact the girl was googling to find out a solution!!!!! To say it was a pathetic experience would be an understatement!!! We people pay too much money for our phone services to be treated as such and for them to tell my daughter she needs to go to a repair shop!!!! LOL!!! BTW, how fast do u think Your manager can walk out of the back of the store to the front of the store without getting short of breath. During my most recent shopping trip, I felt happy with the condition of the mall and with the selection and prices of merchandise. Overall, I think that South Hills Village is one of the best malls in the Pittsburgh area.

The mall also has many lower-priced clothing stores, including American Eagle, Banana Republic, Buckle, Chico's, Express, GAP, H&M, Hollister, J.Crew, J.Jill, Levi's, LOFT, Madewell, PacSun, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, and Zumiez. Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. The mall also has electronics stores such as Apple and phone stores. Stores for home goods include Crate and Barrel, RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), Tempur-Pedic, and Williams-Sonoma. No "real" anchor store, probably the busiest place here is the Starbucks and its drive through. Located right next to Chartiers Valley High School, it's a busy place when parents drop off and pick up the kids. If you enter on the side that leads to Char Valley then if you try to exit there you are forced to make a right turn. So you need to enter at the red light beyond and loop around. The mall is nicely built but has very little to offer. I normally use it if I went the wrong direction or I want to avoid cutting over 2 lanes of traffic.
