Went into JCPenny and used elevator to get to 1st floor, but gate between JCPenny and mall was broken, which prevented me from getting back into the mall from 1st floor. 4. Wanted to let kids ride coin-fed machines such as small carousels and horse, but change machine broken Check out this news article that aligns with my experience. It's not even close to being my favorite mall in the Pittsburgh metro area, but it is nice. There are approximately 120 stores with a wide variety of men's and women's apparel, footwear, speciality, small local businesses, jewelry, home decor, etc. They have one of my favorite Dick's Sporting Goods. It's one of their three anchor stores, two story and loaded with stuff. Macys and JC Penney are their other two anchor stores. The food court has around 10 places to eat. It really isn't that great to be honest, but they do have a couple decent options. It's a shame they don't have a place for pizza. FYI: there are plenty of good places to eat and drink right outside of the mall in the parking lots and in the surrounding area of it There is always plenty of parking as I rarely ever see this mall packed unless it's around the holidays. The customer service always seems to be good and you can definitely find some good deals depending on the time of year. Enjoy :)

Fast food/restaurants located here include Wendy's, Panda Express, Jason's Deli and more. The reason I cannot give this shopping center a 5 star review is that there are often SO many panhandlers that seem to get away with begging for cash in parking lots and in between the Panda Express and Wendy's where the traffic light is located. The panhandlers work in shifts as part of a group of usually young men but sometimes women too. They often have big dogs or pit bulls with them. This turns me off of shopping here. It makes me feel unsafe. Gumberg Associates owns this property so I will try reaching out to them and the Cranberry Township Police are aware as well and have asked that anyone who sees this activity call 911 and contact them to report it.

Bank, Steel City, and Rally House. I do not shop at these clothing stores, but they seem to be popular with other customers. This mall also contains several local home-improvement businesses that can be useful to homeowners (e.g., handyman, heating and cooling, Bath Fitter, appliance repair, cabinets, and grout repair). This indoor mall has two floors and over 150 stores. The anchor stores are Nordstrom, Macy's, JCPenney, and Dick's Sporting Goods. The mall also has many lower-priced clothing stores, including American Eagle, Banana Republic, Buckle, Chico's, Express, GAP, H&M, Hollister, J.Crew, J.Jill, Levi's, LOFT, Madewell, PacSun, Victoria's Secret, White House Black Market, and Zumiez. Unfortunately, a few of my favorite clothing stores have closed since my previous review. Several other stores sell shoes and accessories, such as Coach, Foot Locker, Kay Jewelers, Lens Crafters, Pandora, Sunglass Hut, Swarovski, Tumi, VisionWorks, and Warby Parker. The mall also has electronics stores such as Apple and phone stores. Stores for home goods include Crate and Barrel, RH (formerly Restoration Hardware), Tempur-Pedic, and Williams-Sonoma. Current restaurants are Auntie Anne's, Cheesecake Factory, Plaza Azteca, Nordstrom Ruscello, several casual restaurants in the food court, etcetera. Unlike many other indoor malls, Ross Park Mall is not dead. Most store fronts are occupied, and only a few store fronts are empty and awaiting future retailers.

My husband and I were here most recently on Black Friday 2025, and although the mall had mostly vacant storefronts, many people were walking around. The mall was clean and maintained, and a Christmas train was set up for children. My husband made an analogy and said that the mall reminded him of an old person who was dying but was in a nursing home that took great care of them (!). I needed to use the women's restroom, and an employee kindly told me its location. The restroom was located past the food court, which contained only some restaurants. The restroom looked old but was fairly clean and worked. During this shopping trip, I shopped in the Boscov's, Dick's Sporting Goods, and Shoe Dept. Encore. I most liked the Boscov's.

The interior is very pretty for a mall, and there are cute gathering areas in front of two anchor stores. Many storefronts in the interior of the mall are vacant, and finding a reason to come shop is difficult. The mall is owned by Namdar Realty Group, a known slum lord. Unfortunately, the anchors contribute to the issues. The former Macy's is used by U-Haul for self-storage with part being offered for redevelopment. Rural King does not open into the mall. JCPenney is in the process of closing, which is sad as it's a nicer store for this chain. Boscov's will be the only anchor with access from in the mall once JCPenney's closes. Dick's remains as a junior anchor. The food court is still decent and includes Chick-Fil-A and China Max, along with others. It's a shame a mall this nice looking is in this condition, with empty storefronts everywhere. The future of this mall is uncertain at best.
