Just finished dinner at a new restaurant called The Pho. It's right across from the big Kaiser on Dale. We all ordered the regular vegan pho except for My daughter, they ordered the vegan vegetable pho (no fake meats, veggies only) The pho was good, the spring rolls were good, but the fried tofu was AMAAAAAAZING!!!!!! My wife and I went today to try this place. My wife ordered a pho bowel and asked the waitressed what is the Tripe. He said it's a type of fish. We started to eat and it tastes nothing like fish so we searched it and it ended up being stomach lining and they don't know of what exactly but most likely beef. We got discussed and couldn't look at the food any longer. We left without eating any of the food. They didn't even offer to not charge us. We paid the full price and left without eating at all. I really want pho when I am not feeling well...a hot spicy pho just hits the spot. I called an order in for two of their Filet mignon pho soups. It did not disappoint us. The order was done on time and they were friendly. Since then I have ordered the same on three separate occasions as well as the spring rolls (delicious) peanut sauce. When my daughter wasn't feeling well, got her the same. She greatly enjoyed it. Definitely recommend. read more

Came to ThePho with high hopes since they just opened down the street from my job. Was pleasantly surprised with the layout - the restaurant is well spaced with plenty of room/tables. Order the fried tofu which was delicious but did not carry a lot of flavor. Was very disappointed with the spicy beef soup which was claimed to be a popular item. The waitress said the broth was beef broth but it tasted/smelled very fishy and was not spicy. Wasn't able to finish the soup due to the flavor and texture of the pork. The servers were very nice but unfortunately will not be coming back based on the food alone. read more

My husband and I were hungry and craved some pho. We decided to give this spot a try. We ordered the cold cut sandwich, fried tofu, two bowls of pho, and avocado smoothie and matcha milk tea. The pho was savory and the fried tofu was crispy and delicious . I was expecting a cold cut sandwich but the pork sandwich was good anyway. Bread was fresh and crispy on the outside. The drinks were also good, can't complain. The restaurant was nice and very clean. The male server took our order and gave our pho bowls to the wrong table. So, we had to wait a little bit longer for our pho. The female server had to correct the order. Despite the mix up, the food and drinks were really good. Definitely be back! read more

Great food. We had a Vietnamese Coffee with a large steak and shrimp pho and a small filet mignon and flank. Broth was tasty. Meat was cooked really well. The service was good as well. Took our drinks and order in a timely matter. Although I should mention it wasn't incredibly busy so it may vary. Ambiance is nice and well decorated. Bathrooms are clean and tidy and very modern. Service was fair. I asked for a large bowl of Bún bò Huế which one of the main ingredients that makes this soup is pork blood. The server brings me my bowl and it had no pork blood in it, so I asked "where's the pork blood?" His reply was "we don't have any" I'm like "dude, you should of told me that from the beginning!" At this point I'm already upset so I just kept the food and ate it, which did not taste one bit like Bún bò Huế. I called and placed a Togo order at 12pm (fried egg rolls and pho). I was told 25-30 minutes I showed up at 12:30pm and it wasn't ready that it was getting packaged up. At 12:50pm. Had tried the Oakdale Road location, so thought we'd try the new Dale Road location. Won't go back. While the food is very good, the service was absolutely horrible. After we were seated and given menus, it took a very long time for someone to come over to our table. Note: there were at least three servers to cover no more that five occupied tables - slow night. When our server finally came over, she was unable to answer any of our questions about the menu. Not one. Each question was answered with a simple "I don't really know". We had to ask for everything other than our food (utensils, more water, etc.). We finally gave up on getting the check, so we walked up front to pay. I'll go back to the Mom & Pop places. My wife insisted that I should also mention that one of the servers cleaning up a table picked up a rib bone that had been chewed on by a customer...BARE-HANDED. She then went back to the task of bagging up clean utensils WITHOUT washing her hands first! read more

Pho Tai was decent. Egg rolls are good and fresh. Bun Bo Hue is a HARD NO. It's not even bo = beef, it's pork meat inside and the broth is like bun rieu which is like crab/shrimp paste. They didn't even have the pork heart slice. The boba drinks - you have to ask for no ice because literally 4/5ths of the cup is ice and you don't get any drink. One slurp and your drink is basically gone. I will come back to update my review to try the other dishes like com tam broken rice plate and bun thit nuong on the menu because there isn't many vietnamese resturants nearby. read more

This was my first time dining here (Take-out) and I ordered a small #2 with only rare steak, however upon taking it out I noticed I was given four small slices and all were pure fat with almost no actual meat on them.
