A little hole in the wall that is so great and affordable , go here frequently and it is not upscale like other Peruvian places so if you feel lazy this is the place because it is just as good as the other places, the rotisserie chicken is so moist and seasoned and the fries are so fresh it is a very good hidden gem. read more

Came here for lunch on a week day. I agree with previous reviewers. This is a small spot that you almost don't see when driving by. Good Peruvian food, though the prices are a little high. I made it in time for the lunch special today... but only barely. There was "one plate left" so I got it since the lunch special is the better lunch deal, whatever it is. Today was a curry chicken and a rice soup. Both had great flavor, but the soup was boiling hot and the curry chicken was luke warm from waiting for me to walk in the door. After that, there was no more lunch special, so it seems like it's first come first serve for that. The chicken dishes and lunch special are reasonably priced, most between $6 to $10, everything else was a little more, but I would think they would be worth it. It would be nice if they allowed you to choose a different 2 sides with the chicken besides rice, salad or french fries, but its still a good deal a very filling. The rice is the buttery deliciousness I expected which was good. Credit Card min is $20, but besides that, this a nice little spot... though most dishes are in the $$ range. read more

Whenever I am in the area, I def love to stop by to eat the Chifa, that's the only dish I enjoy. It's very flavorful. It is definitely homestyle, friendly environment. This place was delishious!! We were trying to find An authentic, non- food chain, mom and pop type place to eat in Miami. The staff was really nice especially because we didn't speak Spanish. They were very helpful in helping us choose from the menu even though they didn't speak much English. Good portion was good. Wish they have same restaurant where we lived. A Peruvian restaurant with a local neighborhood feel, Peruvian kitchen was very busy on Sunday evening. We had the ceviche and the chaufa and both were really flavorful. Skip the yuca a la huancaina, there's nothing special in this place. Service was good but a little delayed as the two very nice waiters are kept busy by the local visitors that keep rolling in. Yummy! I love Peruvian food, and I was tired of the bland over-priced food at my hotel. I had my favorite dish chupe des camarones. It was delicious and perfect for a rainy day in Miami. The waitress warned me that it was very rich, and it was, just the way I like it with plenty of shrimp in a creamy chowder base. The staff was so friendly. I wish I had found this earlier in my stay and would definitely come back again. Next time I might even skip my favorite chupe for something I can eat their spicy green sauce on, like a grilled chicken breast or roasted chicken. My friends who aren't familiar with Peruvian food were also happy with their meals. It was an easy pace for someone on a paleo diet to find something healthy to eat. read more

Since we didn't want to say anything in front of other customers we ended up calling to tell the manager the situation. She said to come in and she would change it. Once arrived, she looked at the undercooked chicken and told us she would cut her veins so we could see what blood really looks like. The rotisserie chicken is crazy good, the tacu tacu chicken has become my personal favorite so I highly recommend that as well. I'm not a fish person but everyone swears on their cerviche so I'm pretty damn sure that's also good. The people are very nice and they have a nice low key atmosphere. The first time I came here was to try their Pollo a la Brasa a la leña. It was not available since we came at 1:40pm and it had run out. So intrigued I came back from Miami to try it and very early to get the fresh chicken out. I bought a whole chicken with fries and salad. Disappointed is an understatement. The chicken tasted from yesterday, dry and oily. Nothing like the ones I tried from Peru. What I am guessing is that the chicken was not ready and they just warmed up what was left over from the day before. Very cheap on their part or the chef. I agree with the other reviews, the ceviche is the real deal. There is almost no difference with the best ones in Lima. The prices are very affordable for the amount of food. Their chaufa de mariscos has a lot of meat and is full of flavour. Also, the service is fast and there are no bad attitudes here. Try their yuca (I always do, everywhere because I love it) and ask for extra aji at no cost. Give it a try because it will go a long way for your money and you won't regret it. read more
