Last time I visited this restaurant was years ago, it was good then, just as good now, the staff was friendly and attentive, the restaurant is very nice, it gives a good feel and the ambianceis definitely relaxing. The food was great, we only went for the Ceviche this time, we were glad we did.

Everything about Merkado 31 is always amazing from the time you walk through the door....The aroma of all the different dishes being prepared in the kitchen smells amazing. The food is so delicious. I have been coming here ever since they opened up and I will continue to come here

2 in on a Tuesday at 7 for dinner. Not busy. 15% added to bill. ORDERED: Papa Huancaina (potato app) $9.95 GOOD Mostrito (Chicken Breast & Fried Rice) $15.95 GOOD Lomo Saltado (sauteed Beef Dish) cooked medium. $21.95.. Tenderloin cut in small pieces was way over cooked. Very tough and dry. Black Beans $6.95 Limonada Menta $8.00 Lemonade with mint. GOOD

This place was definitely one that can be easily missed. The signs of the restaurant is so minimal and the doors are blacked out so I even wondered if they were open. Opening the doors to a renovated restaurant, giving a very modern feel. The staff were super friendly and kind. I liked the food. I forgot the name but it literally translate to "green pasta with steak" which is basically pesto pasta. but to be fair, it was pretty good. I also tried the lomo Saltado and it did not disappoint.

Small, quaint, quiet place. The server was nice. The food was delicious. I will definitely be back. The drinks were okay.

This little place in NMB has some great Peruvian food and also great happy hour. The restaurant is more of a family restaurant so the inside is cozy, nothing extravagant. Food and service were fairly fast and attentive.

I came here for lunch hoping for a good meal since they had pretty good reviews but was not impressed. I got a lomo saltado and had asked for the meat to be cooked medium, it tasted and felt like it was cooked well done. The flavor was good/okay but the texture of some of the pieces of meat just ruined the dish for me. It was a bit hot and humid inside the restaurant as well which made the experience less enjoyable overall. The food took a while to arrive, there was a table of 3 guys that ordered after me and they somehow got their food first as well which didn't make sense. maybe my experience was a one off since they have good reviews but very disappointing to say the least. The waitress was nice except she forgot the coke that I ordered as well so I think she probably had forgotten to put my order in as well which is why it took so long

Wow!!! Everything so good. I started with a traditional ceviche. It's so fresh with good portion, then I order 1/4 of chicken really good amazing price with black beans and salad de la casa, with 3 amazing sauces. To the end maracuya mousse, really really good. The place from outside didn't justify what you will find inside, really cozy place, and the service was really good, I seat at the bar and all the guys very professional and friendly special Romina, with the recommendation.

I love Peruvian food so I've been to this place a couple times. If you are driving on 163rd you will see the name of the restaurant and know where it is so you can park in the back. The back entrance is not glamorous but once you get it the decoration is really nice, there is a long hall for pick up orders where people can sit on benches while waiting. There is a host who can take you to your table once you pass the pick up area. The food was pretty good, we got the ceviche for two that includes the clasico, mixto and merkado. These include fish, shrimp, calamari and octopus. I was surprised to see that they also have a mushroom ceviche which I would like to try next time! Portions are a little small but we were OK since we were not that hungry plus they did give us a lot of canchitas (peruvian popcorn) Service was good, it wasn't too crowded so we got our food pretty fast. We did wait a little bit for the check but the waiter was really nice. A must try if you are in the North Miami Beach area!

Hands down the BEST Peruvian restaurant in Miami. Seriously addicted to this place. The servers are always super sweet

The service is incredible, the chef and other staff were quick and very attentive, making sure each dish is crafted to perfection. It's a very casual spot but the presentation of the food is up to par with some of the Michelin star restaurants you can find in the city. I do want to note that each group is served one at a time. We unfortunately showed up right after a group of 6 with another party of 2 already at the counter. The chef takes the order of the party that comes in first. The group of two ordered almost everything on the menu and the group of six put in multiple things meaning we were not able to put in an order until 6:30. Though this does make sense since there were only 3 people preparing the food, it was unfortunate since we were hungry and waited an hour to put in our first order. That being said, the food was incredible. We got the fish ceviche, spicy. tuna causa, and the cilantro lime rice. If you like spicy, get the ceviche spicy! It was one of the best ceviches I've ever had. The causa was very well balanced and the cilantro rice had a good amount of seafood in it. Everything was so beautifully prepared we almost didn't want to eat it! Overall, the food and service is amazing and I think the food is fairly priced for the amount of time and attention is put into each dish. But do be warned about the waiting time.

No reservations just walk-in. I highly recommend not going here too hungry because you'll most likely have to wait... but don't let that scare you because the food is definitely worth the wait. We ordered seafood ceviche, Parmesan scallops, arroz, and 2 crudos. I can't tell you how perfect and fresh every bite was. I savored every dish -- wow. It was so good we ordered the ceviche dish twice.

You just need to put yourself in the hands of Chef Martha Palacios. She just dropped a new menu with amazing crispy rice, which to be honest, may be my favorite crispy rice right now. It's sort of shaped like a pizza and it has a good amount of fish and ikura. You know we love Ikura here. It was a table slapper for sure. They also have their own version of hummus which I think (if they tell you to eat more greens this is what they mean, served with crisp flatbread it's like a pillow! Oh and I found out they have a happy hour called 4-5-6-7, everything on this menu is at that range. Oh and they have a josper grill which I had no idea what that was but it looks so cool!. Probably why this anticuchos was so good. Their milanesa they incorpated peruvian corn which I love and of course we had to get the classic duck rice dish, Jarana located in the Abbey of the Aventura is a can't miss!

The vibe is fun and vibrant cute inflatable donut decorations and colorful piñatas hanging from the ceiling make it feel lively but still comfortable for dinner. This was my second visit, and consistency is everything for me. The food was fresh, flavorful, and came out hot. They start you off with a sample of their chicken soup, and it's so good that I always order the full bowl. Definitely a must-try. The prices are reasonable with great shareable portions. The drinks were strong and actually tasted good no watered-down cocktails here! Service was excellent. The staff was attentive, checked in on us, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal. We ordered the Del Carajo with lambayeque rice and French fries, and everything was cooked perfectly. Why 5 stars? The seating is tight. While there was a mini coat hanger inbetween tables to place belongings, it made it difficult to maneuver around to get in and out of the seat. Even getting to the table was difficult sharing narrow aisles with servers and wait staff going to and fro the kitchen. The staff were kind and attentive. The food was robust in flavor and well portioned. The different sauces in the table caddy were a nice variety of flavors to pair with the food. I really enjoyed the aioli-like sauce with the beef/pepper sandwich. The bun was lightly toasted but had a nice fluffy chew. The restaurant adjacent (CVI.CHE 105) to this place share the same owner so we were able to order items (ie, cerviches, sushi rolls, etc) from there too. Very Tasty, would definitely recommend if you have a Peruvian craving!
