I chose The Perfect Touch as my decor vendor for my wedding and when I say I am very disappointed in the delivery of the decor. I originally booked my decor vendor 6-8 months before my wedding with my planner and we were assigned to Ali. Our first decor meeting there was a mix up and Ali was not prepared for our meeting. We met, and I chose pieces throughout the warehouse. She then delivered a storyboard to show the design (which was great) to give me an idea of what everything would look like. Fast forward to 30 days prior, we had a design meeting that I had to pay $200 to finalize decor design. I had to wait an entire month for an updated invoice after this meeting, just to find out she never updated the invoice. Also, at the meeting I had to pay $200, it was extremely rushed but Darryl the florist brought out a sample arrangement for my head tables, which I absolutely loved. I proceeded and paid the full remaining balance BEFORE the deadline Fast forward the week before my wedding, I get a call from my planner saying that I had to pay $1000 extra for a backdrop and extra florals which I was confused by. I was also told ONE WEEK PRIOR to wedding day that the price of florals increased, and they needed more money. After going back and forth, I told them I was not paying anything because everytime my planner tried to contact them about finalizing things "they were busy with other events" and that was always their excuse! Now it's my wedding day! Which I'm completely disappointed because the decor we saw at the $200 appointment WAS NOT EVEN DISPLAYED. And the vision Ali said she had and understood WAS NOT DELIVERED! I didn't want any of my tables looking the same and ALL of them looked the same. There was no floral centerpieces on my head tables but centerpieces on all the other tables. And after my planner reached out to Ali, she responded saying "We're sorry" but did nothing about it to make it right. Bottom line, we paid for boho glam wedding decor and it looked like the wedding was thrown together for a budget of $1000. I would not recommend The Perfect Touch at all! We worked with Perfect Touch for our wedding decor for our March wedding. We met with our first consultant almost a year out before our wedding and we weren't sure if it was going to be a good fit. That was until we met Savannah! She was very approachable and knowledgeable about what our vision was. We were thrilled to work her. I can not say enough great things about her. While working with handful of vendors for a wedding, it can be very overwhelming for a bride. We felt really confident in the services we received from Perfect Touch after working with Savannah. The wedding arch we rented was simple beautiful! We had a very small ceremony at our church and this was the focal point! The flowers were fresh and vibrant! It was way better than the inspirational picture from Pinterest! Savannah was very responsive via email/phone! The price was great because it included set up and tear down! First off, Perfect Touch does more than linens, they should probably update their company name to include floral and decor so that people do not think they are exclusively linens. I met with PT 8-9 months before my wedding date (probably too early on my part) and met with a woman named Shelley McDonald. She seemed like she was going to be great to work with because she knew what I was looking for and very friendly. She was actually one of the main reasons we decided to choose PT because we liked her so much and she promised to get us exactly what we wanted and even lowered prices on some things. However, Shelley decided to jump ship and left for another company about 3 months later. That is when Coral, their admin and sales, stepped in and facilitated our wedding floral and linen. She was helpful in getting us what we needed and introduced us to William, who became our floral designer. To be honest, we were wondering if we made a huge mistake at first when Shelley left. But William was really great, and he eased our worries about the floral and decor. We sat down and went through every single line item on our previously signed invoice with William and Coral and he gave us his own suggestions and recommendations that helped knock down the price and what he felt would look better. We liked that he made it his own and didn't do exactly what Shelley previously did for us. Closer to the wedding we did a mock set up of the linens and floral for our three centerpieces. I was very relieved to see that everything was going to look great and William's vision was actually really good. Wedding day: Floral, linen, and decor looked really really great! My bouquet was beautiful and the reception and ceremony altar looked amazing. PT didn't have a large cross for the altar but they found one for us to use, which was really great on their part. William even came to the venue himself to make sure everything looked perfect and looked like what we discussed. We didn't have scratched chargers (that I know of) at our wedding like some other customers did. It was definitely an unfortunate circumstance at first, but overall they exceeded expectations. Do not trust this company! I used them for my wedding. At first things looked good, sounded good, and mostly had fair service during the planning process... I was going to recommend them to family and friends actually. Then when it came down to the final months and weeks, I started seeing some hiccups. I set up an appointment to finalize the details, and they misread my appointment time and was not prepared... Long story short, in the end I ended up paying for services that was not carried out. They really upset me on my wedding day with half a** service. I had paid for things that were not delivered, and they won't refund me for services that they did not carried out. Do not use this company, as there are plenty of other great linen and event rental companies in the Houston area. In response to the below comment -- our wedding was NOT booked at the last minute. We booked in September for a December wedding, which is a perfectly reasonable time frame in my estimation (our guest count was about 80-90). Any additional delays with the account would have been based on the e-mail system that would not accept the authorization form. Furthermore, at the initial consultation when I visited the office and during the first phone call, I stated clearly that we were willing to pay 50% of the cost at time of booking. I had been told that this was the standard procedure for the company when booking linens-- it was not based on my own suggestion. We do appreciate that the company eventually sent us a refund check, however this required three separate telephone calls to accomplish and a longer than acceptable delay. My husband and I primarily used our own funds for this wedding and stretched our budget, which was why this was a big issue for us. My main problem with working with Perfect Touch was that it seemed like no matter who we spoke to on the phone, they didn't share that information with anyone else. I would suggest a new computer system, better communication between employees and some additional quality control to correct this problem. I have no issue with the quality of goods provided, and I do realize that the missing items were more likely to be the fault of our venue, who packed everything up following the wedding. read more

I did book rather close to my wedding and selected items in stock. They had a decent linen (color) variety and were helpful showing me several options at my last minute appointment. I went over with Mehak a chair bow I had found on pinterest, she tied it the same way and took a photo of the chair sash , then made a notation on my paperwork that she had a photo for the chair sash bow. Once at the reception, I turned around to my chair excited to show my new husband how it was decorated and immediately I was disappointed by the chair bow. It was the little details I worked hard to put together that helped make the reception pretty. So seeing one NOT as it should be was frustrating. It was nothing more than a hideous side bow at the top of the chair. They did not even try for the diagonal sash with a bow that I had gone over with them and was on my contract. I paid $100 for a delivery fee; I expected things to be set up correctly. I HONESTLY WOULD NOT HAVE GOTTEN THE CHAIR SASHES HAD I KNOWN I WOULD GET THAT BOW. They were a complete disappointment as our chairs were the only chairs to receive sashes. My guests received the standard silver chargers; several of them were chipped/scratched up. That was a little disappointing also. I am still glad I got them, but maybe they need to do better quality control. I emailed Mehak two days after my wedding and did not receive a response. My planner even said she emailed her. If she would have responded, I would have given 4 stars. TLDR summary: I do not recommend The Perfect Touch after my experience with them in planning my February 2020 wedding. They were unorganized, unprofessional, missed countless deadlines, and were defensive/hostile to work with. They promised items that did not exist in their inventory, made substitutions without discussion or approval from me, tried to charge me for their mistakes, in general made significant mistakes in documentation and delivery of my requests, had under-trained and non-responsive staff, and told me they'd see me in court if I went public with my experience through reviews and media. The list of things they did wrong is very long but, overall, The Perfect Touch was not reliable and made the experience extremely negative for me. No bride should have to endure the level of stress, chaos, and disrespect that I was faced with in working with them. There are many options of rental companies in Houston, I would not choose The Perfect Touch. The detailed report: Let me preface by saying this is my experience, and I cannot speak to that of others'. Per my contract, I have advised The Perfect Touch of my grievances prior to publishing this review. I'm writing this review because I wish that I had paid better attention to the reviews on Google before hiring The Perfect Touch. I hope that in writing this I can prevent another bride from experiencing the chaos that I dealt with in working with them. Some of the reviews described similar experiences to my own, but I didn't see them until more recently as my dealings with them started to take a bad turn. To start, their staff was not reliable and not experienced enough to be managing large wedding projects. When I first signed on with them, I was working with Savannah. However my original rep left and I was never informed, nor was my project formally handed off to someone new. After many calls and emails I was advised Savannah had left and, almost as an after thought, they assigned my wedding to Ali. Ali was extremely unorganized during my entire planning process and, towards the end of our engagement, became contentious and dismissive. A few weeks before my wedding the GM told me "this was a learning experience for Ali, we are training her". I suffered a lot during this training period and do not appreciate receiving subpar service so that staff can be trained at the expense of my time and wedding experience. In general, I found their staff to be inefficient and unprofessional. I was passed from person to person and they still couldn't get it right. Regarding my actual experience, many things went wrong. The most glaring of which was the lack of organization and documentation in decisions made. I spent HOURS of my time explaining what I rented, following up to see changes, following up on missed deadlines and correcting their errors on invoices. After a while I started having to take pictures of every single item rented and asking to see them in person, because they constantly changed or forgot the items I was renting. Once it became clear that they were not documenting or honoring our verbal agreements/selections, I chose communicate by email so that I had most everything in writing. If you do choose to work with this company, I suggest you only communicate via email so that everything is in writing, and that you ask to see all rental items in advance and retain photos for your records. Their inventory is nice, but they made many promises for items they did not actually own physically or have in stock. In the months leading up to my wedding they told me they ordered several of these items not in inventory, but the orders were never made. Then, weeks leading up to my wedding they were scrambling last minute to try to find them, and in the end had to offer alternate selections because they could not procure the items we agreed upon. I was promised arrival dates of items that were never even ordered. Had I not followed up so many times, I wouldn't have been able to have a similar centerpiece to what I was promised. They actually had to borrow it from another vendor. If you choose them, make sure you take photos of EVERY item promised and confirm it is in stock. When you are planning a wedding and spend a lot of time selecting rentals (candelabras, tables, chairs, etc.), it is very frustrating to be told weeks before the wedding that the items never existed in inventory and you're going to have to make due with something entirely different. What is worse, however, is how defensive the staff was when I was not happy with the last minute changes. They were not responsive to emails and did not provide any status updates, and blamed me for incurred costs to resolve their mistakes. Vic, the owner, told me "I had to pay $200 to buy the table you wanted. I didn't charge you for it." The reality is I did not even get the table I wanted or had agreed to. We were delayed 2 hours of our wedding day. Bc they didn't put up all the stuff we paid for! Which they should have done the night before! And also we paid for the whole ceiling covered with drapes. But what did they do... They put 2 thin ribbons like an X over the dance floor and that was it. I paid almost 2k just for that? I would of taken me 10 mins to do that my self! I contacted the Perfect Touch because it was recommended by our venue (which is Royal Oaks Country Club - I'm surprised they work with a clearly sub-par company). I decided not to even bother working with them because it has been incredibly difficult trying to even get information out of them. I have been emailing with Coral Hernandez for two weeks now and between her unhelpful answers and slow response time, I still have zero information about pricing or packages. A 2-3 day response on an email when I am outright asking you to sell me something seems absurd in the age of constant Internet connection and like you don't really care about getting my money, which means you probably certainly won't care after you have it. I've worked with plenty of companies that have extremely quick and helpful responses, so I don't think it's demanding too much. I first asked about getting an arch for the ceremony, and she had to "ask her manager" like she didn't know what their services are. Then she said I also had to do flowers, which I can understand. I took the bait and asked her about their packages (three days ago), and I've yet to get a response. I can't imaging that working with this company would somehow get easier if it's this hard just trying to get information out of them. read more

You were 2 1/2 hours late having the chairs and linens delivered, not to mention the chairs were not in the great condition you promised. You also were nearly 2 hours late picking up, which you can imagine was a huge inconvenience as the bride had to wait at the church until everything was completed , which also resulted in us having to pay more money. My daughter and I was very excited to look at the beautiful colums that was displayed at the Bridal Extravaganza, We were told we would get a discount for booking that day...it did not happen. Also, we would have to pay for the delivery, which is ok, but also an extra $100.00 for picking it up. Also an additional price for using our credit card.....Most people dont carry cash. I used The Perfect Touch for my wedding on September 1, 2013 and I can't say that I was that impressed with their service. Now don't get me wrong they have some very nice linens and my reception was absolutely gorgeous. However, I ran into a few issues. I found it very imperative to double check all invoices they sent over because there was ALWAYS something wrong with it. I also found that it was better to pay them with a personal check because when I tried paying with a credit card authorization they took more than the amount originally discussed. We later ran into items "missing" after the wedding. I feel like if they took inventory before leaving the venue they could skip putting people through the headache of having to charge them additional money....but then again that would be too much like right. My wife and I met perfect touch during a bridal show and contracted them to do the decoration for the entire wedding (church and reception). Our wedding had about 200 people and we ordered quit a few traditional Indian decorations from them. Our event order was just shy of $18,000 dollars. As for the good things about the perfect touch. If they show up, they'll put up very nice flower arrangements for your wedding. With that said, we regret hiring the perfect touch for our wedding and would never recommend him to anyone. They didn't show up to decorate the church, or provide any of the boutonnieres or bouquets for the wedding party. When we noticed that the church was not decorated and they were a no show, I called them and they said they didn't have the address to the church. We delayed the ceremony for 45 minutes while they drove over to the church. My bride was crying like crazy as you could imagine. After waiting for them, they showed up just in time so that my bride could walk in with a bouquet. When I saw my bride walk in, her eyes were puffed up from crying for 45 minutes, her make-up had to be retouched, everyone was very upset!! Our perfectly planned church ceremony was ruined!! No decorations at all! Perfect touches excuse was that they couldn't find the address we gave them on the morning of the wedding and that they tried calling us. The day of the wedding is not when they should be checking for the address. They should have this already confirmed days before, like all vendors. Trust me on one thing, the wedding day is CRAZY busy and you have no time to answer phone calls from unorganized wedding vendors. The fact that Vik and his company waited till last possible moment to find the address they lost, is inexcusable! His company ruined our ceremony, period! The delay in the ceremony meant that we finished later, thank god we had a 2 hr buffer before the reception. But that meant we lost precious time we planned out to take pictures with family. Their mistake made us rush out of the church to get to the reception hall before guest started to arrive so we could take pictures. So much of the fine details we planned out were ruined because of the delay and stress. Our reception was to start at 5:30..The reception was at a very upscale country club..when our guest arrived at 5:30, Vik's people were still working on the reception hall! How fantastic as you can imagine! As our cocktail hour was going on, Vik's people were going around trying to finish The reception hall asked them to leave and our decor was left unfinished, that ruined so much of our reception surprise element. Anyhow, the ceremony delay also meant our reception started later then we planned. How perfect, right? When the reception started and my wife sat down on the jula (Indian bench swing) which perfect touch set up, the whole thing fell backwards! Luckily I had some of my buddies and the photo guys near. With the help of them and the reception hall staff, we were able to straighten up the Jula. The whole drape setup was about to fall over, the reception hall staff had to fix it! The Jula was setup wrong, and we took a picture of it! Falling back during your reception is very embarrassing, that's not what my wife planned for her 'perfect day'. Afterwards, Vik did say sorry..but that nice vik we knew now turned into a jerk. He took some of the blame for not showing up to the church, but told us that we should've picked up his phone calls when he was trying to find the church. As for still working on the reception hall when the reception started he put the blame on everyone else and that we should've gave them more time to finish up. As for the falling Jula, he swears they set it up right and that one of the other vendors must have moved it. Trust me this thing is like 300 pounds, I talked to vendors, no one moved it.Vik's people set it up wrong. For everything that happened, Vik had a very 'I'm sorry, but shit happens, but I did some of the things right' attitude. He refunded us for the things he did not do, he also gave us back the $250 we paid for the falling Jula..what a perfect touch. I talked to some of the other vendors / people after the wedding and it turns out that Vik has screwed up before. He is very charismatic and will make you feel like family. But watch out!!For Vik it's just another wedding, Vik's company managed to ruin quite a bit. As for any couple reading this, advice for you. Your dream day can be ruined by one vendor. Things can always go wrong on your wedding day, but I think you can reduce the chance by staying away from 'The perfect touch'. We wish we could go back and hire someone else, it was a nightmare!!!. If you hear some good things about 'the perfect touch' , and are into taking chances, and only care about some of the event order being 'perfect' go for it! Good Luck!!
