I recently just purchased a new home in the third ward, Rose, Marisa and Oscar, were very instrumental in helping me pick up pots and several large plants, they even took the time to transfer one plant to another base, the prices are extremely fair for the unique, beautiful designs. They have here and the flowers and plants are all in excellent condition, I highly recommend this place Sincerely, Alex read more

Easy one star review. They're on the app too good to go so I purchased the arrangement to come pick up a plant. I get here in the lady work at the front desk says I'm sorry I need to turn that off because we don't have any plants. Why would you have that turned on and waste peoples time? I just drove over here for nothing. Easy one star review. Why would you even post on there ? read more

THEY TAKE WALK-INS FOR SINGLE BOUQUETS! I needed a quick congratulatory bouquet for a friend. I walked in and Rose was quick to greet me! She asked my price point and showed me some of the flowers they had. We chatted colors and I walked out with the most BEAUTIFUL bouquet! My plan was to get flowers at HEB and km so glad I came here instead-- so stunning. I'm convinced I couldn't get this beautiful of a bouquet for this price anywhere else. They do great work but the customer service system is terrible. Very unorganized. They never answer their phone after 4pm and multiple times they've forgotten about my bouquet and do it last minute while I'm standing there. I paid $85 for handheld bouquet id like some serious work done on it. If you're looking for a bouquet or handheld in less than a day just go to HEB. It's so much cheaper and faster read more

Beautiful flowers! I wanted to find a florist in my area that would provide exceptional flowers. I needed to buy a bouquet for my wife's birthday. I didn't want the grocery store quality, I wanted exceptional! I searched on Yelp and found Plants N Petals. What a great find! I called and asked if I could pickup the bouquet in a few hours, on my way home from work. They said no problem. I asked for pink and white flowers with roses, tulips, orchids and green stuff as those are my wife's favorites. We agreed on a reasonable price and I took a deep breath and hoped that I made the best decision. Wow, was I surprised! The bouquet was so much better than I imagined. The quality of the flowers were amazing. Thank you very much for this gift. I will remember this florist for future orders! read more

Prices change constantly based on who is working and there is no visible price tag for succulents specifically. In a span of two weeks the prices fluctuated three different times I have been there in two weeks. If you're going to fluctuate your prices at least have the price visible. I was super excited after leaving here the first time and recommending numerous people for succulents and it seems the more they sell or the more business they get the higher the prices get. read more

Not a single employees wearing masks and when I asked them why not, was rudely told the mask mandate is no longer active in Houston. This is incorrect. Excellent customer service greeted me as I placed a call in order for my sister's birthday flowers. Though I needed delivery on a Sunday, they were accommodating and true to their word. The website had sample designs but Natalie worked with me to create a custom design of 4 globes and a corsage. She also helped me stay within budget. (I was first concerned to see the photo my sister sent because they were globes and not cubes as requested; however, the globes did not contain environmentally icky foam and the designer did a superb job of using branches to provide a compact yet earthy wispy appearance.) Beautiful flowers beautifully arranged for my beautiful sister. Thank you Natalie and staff. read more

I placed an order for a bouquet through Plants N Petals earlier this week. They took the entire order via phone and assured that the flowers could be delivered the next day! The minimum price for a bouquet delivery is $65. Delivery is around $15, but I'm not sure if it differs significantly by location. The service was quick and convenient. I asked for something with pink & white flowers and that's exactly what they put together. My only complaint is that I wish the bouquet was a tad bit larger. read more

I am very picky when it comes to the flowers that I buy my wife. I want to find great combinations of colors, textures, and not give my wife something too generic. I went to Plants N Petals with a moderate budget and Bryanna helped my navigate the cooler to find the right combination of flowers for my wife. Together we collected the elements of a beautiful finished ensemble that was expertly arranged while I waited. It was a great experience and my wife absolutely loves her bouquet. I will definitely be back and I am grateful for the service and quality provided. read more

Beautiful work-exceeded expectations. Important client and friend died suddenly. The funeral spray needed to both express sympathy to family and be as big and grand as he was to not only me but on behalf of the hundreds of members of the organization under whose name it was given. Communications from family on funeral arrangements came with little time to find the "right" florist and explore the flower options like I had hoped. Based on the reviews I drove to Petals and Plants and hoped for the best. On short notice and with perfect understanding of the order (even with my meager and ill prepared description) the ABSOLUTE perfect standing spray was created and delivered the next day. The folks were very nice and patient with me as well when I ordered. They even gave my toddler a little teddy bear. They have so many pretty things and I plan to order again under happier circumstances in the future. read more

First of all none of the staff wearing mask and I know that it is not mandatory but many other businesses still wear masks as this is respect to clients. The staff is very rude and unapproachable ( only one lady name Karla approached me and was very polite). I am regular customer for the past 2 years but the service is getting worse and worse every time to the point I decided not to take my business there anymore. I ordered an arrangement and confirmed the address prior to the requested delivery date. It wasn't until I called them back 4 days later that they realized that the delivery didn't take place. I was charged an additional delivery fee after receiving a receipt with the supposed total. I was offered a refund on the delivery charge, only to be called back saying it wasn't possible to break out that charge. I was hoping to have a nice set of flowers sent to my mother, who was home alone, on her birthday, but now I guess I'll just have to hope they get to her at all. read more

Tried to place an order to send to my brother in the hospital out of town. Later was contacted saying the charge would be higher than expected. Which was fine, I asked if they would add the additional charge of $16.95 to my credit card. They replied yes. Instead, they double billed me. When they returned my call to discuss, they were extremely hostile and it made me super uncomfortable. Abraham always ran this florist so beautifully - I was so disappointed in their treatment of me. It's so not worth it - their are plenty of other florists. read more

So it was my Anniversary and my normal flower guy wasn't answering so I call around looking for stars on reviews. I found this place and started to place my order they pulled up my information which was a red flag because if I was in their system and wasn't calling them first there was a reason (I'm big into flowers for my wife). So I gave them a very detailed description of what I wanted. Very detailed. Rose in the center. Other flowers cascading down at different height levels to symbolize no other women being as pretty as my rose. Told them tall not bushy. The whole point was the other flowers ascending to my wife's status. I believe there was a language barrier. What I got was a single rose shoved in a bush of other flowers. $150 down the drain. If flowers by nino will answer go with them. read more

Plants N Petals did an absolutely amazing job at our wedding! Everyone raved about how beautiful the flowers were, and they created a truly magical space! Bahara was very easy to work with, and at our first meeting, she showed us pictures of ideas we might like. She had also looked at our Pinterest board to see further what we liked and did not like. We came up with a gorgeous plan, and they executed it flawlessly! Couldn't be happier with Bahara at Plants N Petals! read more

When I went in today, 9/4/20, none of the indoor employees were wearing their masks properly, if at all. When I asked the woman with the long brown hair behind the desk to please raise her mask before I approached to pay she scoffed, "The mandate has expired, and I will not." When I politely informed her that the mandate is still in effect she sneered at me and said, "You can do what you want to do, and I will do what I want to do." She did not raise the mask that was hanging around her neck. read more

Who knew that not very many florists are open on Sundays? Not me...until now. Well this one is open on Sundays and I am glad they are. The parking lot is small but the space to shop in is large. I needed flower petals for a friend's wedding (I was a groomsman) and what better place to come than one named "Plants N Petals." I called ahead and confirmed that they had the white rose petals I needed. They were specific and asked how many I needed and gave me a price quote over the phone. I did not commit to them over the phone, but when I arrived, they were ready in a nice box and the gentleman said he starting picking them off the roses right after I called. I also needed some buttoneire pins and they provided those at no charge. Great service and great products make this place stand out from the rest. read more

Bought a concrete fountain from William. I was quoted $150 to move and set it up. They did not show up for the first two dates that were set up. Finally showed hours late for the third scheduled date. They DID NOT inform that I needed a thick concrete pad with rebar for a base! Therefore it was not set in place. After I had the pad prepared I called to schedule for them to come back. They basically called me a liar, that William told me i needed the pad. My point is customer service sucks at this place!! Love this place! I needed some small plants for my succulents and could not find any anywhere. All the ones I found were just decorative. Until I came to Plants and Petals. I don't really need any, but I might go back and get some because they are so beautiful and the price is awesome. read more

Very disappointed, the flower I ordered is from the right, my wife received the one on the left. Why bother to post the pictures if you can't duplicated. Where do I even begin?! Plants n' Petals has outdone themselves on every floral order I have ever placed! My two favorites were my Valentine's Day flowers my boyfriend sent me last year- he told them he wanted something unique and different, since I am a designer myself, and plants and petals sent me the most luxe and over the top arrangement ever! I throw dinner parties quite often and a few months back I threw a fiesta themed party, and I let PnP take care of the rest and they produced the most perfect flowers for my home! I had been using this florist for 20 years and will never use them again. My husband ordered flowers to be delivered in Valentine's Day and PnP CHOSE to deliver them a day early in the 13th without consulting my husband because they were going to be so busy on Valentine's Day. NOT ACCEPTABLE. Everyone knows half the joy of receiving a gift of flowers is the excitement the moment the surprise gift arrives. Forget about the fact that I was traveling for business when they arrived on the 13th their business judgement was greed over customer service. I am so disappointed. When confronted with this embarrassment PnP said they would pick up the flowers and bring new ones on Valentine's Day. They picked up the flowers and took them back to the store and then re-delivered the same flowers now at least a day old with the card that was drenched in water. I know they are the same flowers because my assistant sent me a picture of them yesterday to let me know they had arrived. On the 13th I thought. I understand it is a busy time for florists but HORRIBLE customer service to think about your own profits over the desires of your customer. If they treat a very good customer of 20 years be wary of how they will treat you read more
