The inside is scintillating and the floor tiles appear to be Calcutta Gold enhancing the radiance of the sunlight as it filters through silk flowers draped from the window and ceiling area. The vibe reminds me more of a social club/coffee house near Quinta Avenida in Miramar. I would have liked a strong Coffee Cubano, but I might have overlooked it on the menu. I thank the cashier because I forgot my wallet and she had to input my CC information by hand twice, we both chalked it up to good training and had a laugh. At 8:26 the night before my set tour appointment I got a text message saying that they could not host my tour but that I would "be able to tour the venue on your own." That I would be provided with a code once I arrived to be able to tour this venue myself. I did text back to no reply. I had to call again around three on Thursday, the day of my appointment, to get my follow up questions on how this was supposed to work since I would be by myself and would have questions about the venue. I am planning for my wedding. At any venue I have toured never have I been notified the day before that I would not have a host. Much less THAT I WOULD BE TOURING A FACILITY THAT HAD OTHER PEOPLE ALSO TOURING AT THE SAME TIME. Through the website to bill there are different time appointments and no where did it say that it would be a group tour much less without a host. When I called again they said that they don't honor appointment time and that this was normal for them. I felt so uncomfortable with having another family there that I just left. I felt so embarrassed. This is supposed to be for my big day and no one was helpful or attentive. Not even to message me back. AGAIN DO NOT BOOK HERE.

For starters, the place looks nice and setup pretty well; there's a nice size kitchen to move around in also. Downers, there was an unknown waterfall in the kitchen as well. When we tried using the sink out of nowhere water SPRUNG up from the side of the faucet! It took a team effort to try and maneuver washing our hands/using the sink without getting soaked. Once the event was almost over the owners came in unannounced WITH CAMERAS filming everything! HOW RUDE! We were like "WHO are these people?!" We didn't know if were some strangers who just popped in or what. Then after it registered who it was it dawned on us that they must be trying to see if they could catch someone or something going on that shouldn't. Then they had the nerve to say "WHO removed the top on this," referring to the "waterfall. :/ Like don't try to make it seem as if this was JUST noticed - VERY tacky. I was not the host for the event, but I assisted in the activities, and would NOT have been pleased with them parading in like they did in front of my desk. Also, the WiFi was a mess to figure out; otherwise you could not get a good signal.

Parking was a bit tough to find and so I parked in the adjacent Metro Park and Ride lot. The inside of the building was immaculate. After a long drive and managing four children under the age of six, we arrived hoping for rest--not reprimands. Instead, my daughter-in-law was greeted by the front desk clerk, Courtney, who graciously informed her that the children were "too loud" and that three complaints had already been made. He then helpfully added that the police might show up to remove her, her three small children, and her pregnant sister (who stopped by) from the hotel. A bit much, don't you think? Especially since quiet hours don't begin until 10 PM, and some of these complaints supposedly happened during a time when we weren't even there. Fascinating. Are my grandkids children? Yes. Are they loud? Occasionally. Are they criminally disruptive? Only if toddler giggles now warrant police involvement. This hotel says it's not pet-friendly--turns out, it's not child-friendly either.
