There have been many times where I've tried restaurants that had a lot of stars, but the local people are just inflating the reviews. - this is not one of those places. The food here is absolutely phenomenal. The speakeasy vibe even adds to the ambience. The drinks are strong yet not too strong. This restaurant is so good that I am now planning a trip with my wife and my friends to come back up to this area to ski just so I can bring them here and have their mind blown with how great the food is here. if there was an option to give six stars, I would!

We did stop at The Marina to eat but stood at the host desk waiting for someone to greet us for 10 minutes and we just kept being ignored by servers walking thru so we decided to walk out of The Marina and keep going. For fun we enjoyed playing billiards on the 2 smaller tables up front. The sun-streaming & huge outdoor space on the back patio looked inviting, facing the woods and a fire pit. (but I request better seating other than only the picnic tables please) Thanks again to the Monday afternoon bartender for the friendly Vermont hospitality! I always get the monkey business sandwich and it never disappoints. The fried okra is amazing and the hush puppies are perfectly moist. When we lived there they would also let our Army reserve unit do lunch at a discount. Great place all around!

I'm a wine drinker and the pub only had one kind of white wine to offer which wasn't my favorite. They serve everything in plastic with plastic utensils. I had delicious chicken on my Cobb salad which I couldn't cut with a plastic knife. Instead of a cloth napkin or even paper napkins, they supplied a role of paper towel to wipe your hands. The prices for their quality food is too high if you're cheapening out with plastic silverware and paper towel.
