I've been living across the street from this place and never noticed it until about a week ago. So, I walked in yesterday morning roughly around 10am. There were few people scattered throughout. I chose the small table at the window near the entrance. I noticed the tent card promoting the free WIFI. I found it to be refreshing. I ordered the Coquito Latte (made with Puerto Rican coffee) and a scone. They do offer an assortment of empanadas which I'll have to sample next time.
It's a quiet place with light music. If it's not to go, the barista will present your order with ceramic wear which is cool!
The People's Cafe opened its doors here last November. I'm excited to see it grow within our community. I highly recommend this place for its focus on community, holding art and music activities, group meetings, even meet local leaders. Join the vibe!
