They're conveniently located in the heart of Peoria! There's plenty of ample parking. The entryway and overall store is incredibly clean! We were greeted immediately upon entering and were helped just as quickly. We sold a new in box pistol that I purchased for my wife a couple of years ago. She never used it and Peoria Pawn was happy to take it off our hands! Their service is super friendly and they're so knowledgeable! They explained the entire process from start to finish. They made us feel so welcome and comfortable! Their offer price to us was more than fair given the MSRP of the pistol. I would recommend Peoria Pawn to all my friends, family and fellow Yelp'ers!

Customer service was terrible the staff would talk at you not to you. They act like every item you're bringing in is crap and worth next to nothing just so that they could get a higher percentage in resale value no matter what you brought in it was always negative and you left feeling insulted. But honestly, going to this pawnshop was a breath of fresh air it wasn't like any of my other past experience. Right off the bat the staff was friendly polite, and accommodating. The Manager was really really cool and got me close to exactly what I was asking for and needed. I felt like I was talking to a friend asking him for help not some pawnshop heartless employee. I could tell after a few minutes being there that they're not just all about " Mo Money " if you know what I mean. Seriously if you're looking for a pawnshop to go to I hope you read reviews and you see this one this place Kicks butt. Not only did I sell something that day I literally went back the next day and sold something else because I knew what I was getting into and where I was going and the same thing as the first day, well actually even better then the first day because now we somewhat knew each other. Thanks, Michael B.

I brought in a $5000 EVH Eddie Van Halen edition signature series, black Floyd Rose fender guitar the guy looks it up and he's mistaking it for the $300 guitar and tells me he's not interested. I tried showing him pictures and that they're selling for 4000 on reverb he didn't get it. He just didn't get it. He didn't see the difference between the 300 and the 5000 for some reason maybe it was close to clocking out I don't know They need to know the difference between the $300 fender and the $5000 fenders just saying. It would've been great for your inventory. But the guy passed on it thinking it was something else and you guys lost good money. I was gonna part with it for 30% of resale value. These guitars sell quick if you have the time to hold it like pawnshop does I didn't but I left 70% on the table for you guys and the guy passed not knowing anything it's sad to see. Your guys need more than a PhD in Google search and when eBay hasn't sold one because they're very rare it doesn't mean it's valueless. It means it's rare and valuable. Guys are eBay knowledge at best hunters and if eBay doesn't educate them or if they don't see it on eBay they know NOTHING its sad. Anyways, if you have valuable high-end musical equipment, do not come to this pawnshop trust me you're gonna watch a guy stared at a eBay screen and if it's valuable enough that ebay hasn't sold One the guy is gonna draw blank and look at you like a deer in the headlights don't come here

But lately, the staff has been so rude and unhelpful. Today, I saw a controller that I wanted and it was clearly marked at $80. When I attempted to buy it, the staff rudely pointed out that they had intended it to be bundled with an Xbox. As everyone knows, Xbox aren't exactly flying off the shelves. They would rather stick to trying to pawn the Xbox off for $400 with the controller then let me buy it for the sticker price of $80 . I thought the point of business was to take guaranteed money and I was going to give them 1/4 of what they were asking for the Xbox in cash. Not to mention the controller had its own price tag and was clearly marked as $80. They like to make up their own rules and are exceedingly rude . I recommend avoiding this place at all cost. They have lost thousands by treating a guy who has spent at least 10k previously over their attitudes, general laziness/aloofness, and lack of sense to mark a "bundle" as such and removing the price tags. I hope the owner reads this and knows their staff cost them a lot of money - I found a couple guitars and midi controllers I wanted (about 3k in total) so way to go gang.

I have my laptop there and I have been paying the interest on it over the past year because I live in Los Angeles now. I tried to make my interest payment over the phone and the store manager, Daniel, said I could only come down. After explaining the situation he still said that was the new "policy". I do not understand why he couldnt at least take a phone payment especially since I identified myself and my property. He wasn't mean or anything, so I will give him that, but to tell someone they have to find a way to MAKE a payment or your stuff will be sold sounds a little sh*tty to me. There is no reason why my laptop should be sold because I cannot make the trip down there to make the payment. He even said that other pawnshops are like this too. I dont care! MY laptop is at THIS pawnshop and just recently they got rid of the app! They didn't give us a headsup or anything. What if I was in another country??????? I have already contacted the BBB and I pray that I can have someone go take care of this or at least someone has a heart to take my payment over the phone. This is insane! ,
