Been a long time customer always paying cash but this one and last time I was convinced to use their layaway program for an item that meant a lot to me as a veteran and could not afford at time. BIG MISTAKE!! I lost track of the due date by 6-7 days and they defaulted my account without a call warning I would loss the item and the money paid towards it. What a scam. This is now a back to back bad experience after also buying some earring labeled 18K to find out only 10K. I lost all faith in this business and have lost me as a customer. Enjoy your profits for selling me nothing. #OUT$550 read more

Love this place. Always there in a pinch. I've been a customer for years and will continue to be one.

The service is great they go outa the way to sell you good quality Gold The prices are reasonable I give. 5star rating

I learned a lot by coming in to this pawn shop. I was offered $100 for a wedding ring set from my late mother. I asked for $200. Nope. So I went to Osborne Jewelers nearby and was offered $1,300 on the spot. Not kidding. I laugh now at the Pawn Stars camaraderie this pawn shop shares with the TV show. If you have jewelry, go to a jeweler. read more

Wanted to see a ring the girl wanted my driver license. Then she said I need one more ID so I gave my work ID with had government my photo plus my TSA number .she then said I need credit card gave her my visa venture x then she left and was going in back room with all 3 to get approval to show me a 500. Dollar ring. So I said just give me id's and credit cards back. The Manger was upfront so way did she need to go in back room. I really wanted to buy the ring . read more

I came looking for a Mother's Day gift and it's by my work. My wife wanted an Apple Watch. I found one I was interested in and asked the employee if it was locked. I was told he personally wiped the device and it was not locked. Took it home and gave it to her early to ensure it was in fact not locked. Turns out it was, so employee either lied to me or doesn't know what they are doing. Had to drive 45 minutes to return within the 24 hour window they take returns. I tried to get my money back since they lied to me but they only give store credit per policy. So I had to support a business whose employee lies to get a sale or is incompetent. Thankfully they had silver so I can recoup some of my money at the ridiculous premium they sell junk for but that's another story. Hope this helps someone thinking of wasting money/time here. read more

I can't with some of these reviews. I had a great experience here! The gentleman with the red hair, Steele, was incredible. He was very fair, honest, as well as entertaining. It made the selling process less awkward by being able to have conversation and joke around. It was also very impressive how knowledgeable he is on everything. He was helping other staff break down the cost of gold and all sorts of things. If you have a bad experience here, I might suggest looking at your behavior. Most poor customer service comes from people acting like twatwaffles. Just be cool and it'll be cool. read more

So this place disappointed me for the 3rd and last time. I give up on this place. I brought good stuff 3 times and they said no every time. 1st time I brought brand new household items with good resell value - they said "No". 2nd time I brought my laptop Mac pro that I bought from them for $1000 dollars. - they said they can only give me $200 bucks. Resell value goes in the 800s for my MacBook Pro. 3rd time I bring some Nike backpacks and a guitar pedal. - they said "No" for the backpacks and 5$ on my guitar pedal that resells for 50$ on eBay. This guys don't know much about eBay. I resell on eBay full time this guys don't know the simple basics about eBay Prices. I've bought over 8k$ of stuff from pawn1st and I give up on them now. Trying other pawnshops instead. read more

Store closed and didn't even call me and let me know..... I don't know where my stuff is any more...!!!!!

They're thieves. Not only does the red headed manager lowball you he added insult to injury by cutting the price down more after an agreed amount was made claiming I had to pay for the fingerprinting. I've neverhad this problem with Superpawn. They clearly prey on the desperate with no remorse. I'll never do business with Pawn1st again. read more

I remember when pawn shop sold product at a lower price than the market value. This location is the opposite. Everything is 20 bucks away from market value. Everything is in the shop is used. Once you buy something from them there is no refunds and products are sold "as is".. There is a option of paying a small fee to use the stuff you bought from them as store credit but it is dumb because either way they still have your money and services... Once I use my store credit up. I'll never go to a pawn shop again read more

Do not go here. Staff is unethical, rude, unprofessional and not to be trusted that your stuff will be there when you go to pick up. Too picky - you bring in good stuff and they say no. They don't give a fair amount when you pawn, but if you can't pick it up - they sell at high prices. Overall a very bad experience; go to any other pawn shop but not Pawn 1st! read more

I couldnt find anywhere that would offer me more so i came back but i was helped by this very rude lady with black hair very fat and just straight up rude and tried to tell me things were missing on the saxophone i tored to explain to her that thats how its made and even showed her pictures of pther saxophone that WERE exactly the same and then she tried to say we stole by saying we didnt have a vin # then offers me 30$ for it so i told her i was going to take it home and i was walked away she laughed at my frustration i do not recommend this pawn shop theyre going to try to scam you and get it as low as they can! I went to another pawnshop and they offered my 90$ that just shows the ignorance that lady had if you dont wanna do your job then dont have a job that simple read more

If I could give this establishment zero stars I would!! This business is run on no morals and their employees and management are unethical and have no integrity. Went in with a diamond ring appraised at $8500 from the gemological institute of America. Did not tell the sales person what I was looking to get for it just needed to sell it and see what I would get for it. After testing the ring and discussing with her manager she stated "the diamond is cloudy and I could only offer you $100.00 for the weight in gold". Absolutely so unethical to offer someone $100 for an $8500 ring because she thought I didn't know what I had and what it was worth. And when I told them they didn't know how to properly appraise a diamond she stated "we aren't in the jewelry business". This place is run by scammers trying to steal your valuables. Do not recommend you try and sell here! read more

I am new to the area. Pawn 1st has a very professional staff and a clean pawn shop. I have bought sold and pawned many things for many years from pawn stores up and down the West Coast. I have been nothing but pleased with my purchases and the customer service I received at this location. Brandyn he's been amazing. He worked with my wife. And myself and I plan on continuing my business with Pawn 1st and brandyn for many years to come. read more

Definitely ZERO STARS ! This location became one of the worst pawn shops to do business with! BEWARE!! Avoid coming here they're so unethical, they base there cash offer with Ebay trying to compare the price off the bids like if it's even accurate! The new management is a joke and the staff are all rude there still some old employees from when Gustavo was the General manager that were nice but now this place has gone to shit along with all the new and old staff! I wouldn't recommend you come here to purchase items or pawn the are a complete RIP OFF! You're better off putting it on offer up or any kind of selling app than to give these people ur money! I will never do business with this pawn shop I'd rather drive a bit further to get good service and a fair offer for my quality items! They offered me a $50 offer for a item i paid $400 for I feel like atleast $100 is fair for being pre owned but they have the exact same item selling for $270 but yet only want to give me $50 what a joke! They always lie and say they barely going to make any money off the re sell like your making $220 profit damn greedy bastards I swear! I will be happy when this place gets shut down or new management that can run a real business! All the good reviews you see here are from people that only made purchases here but never any for having a good experience of pawning items! read more

Whack ! No good silver or coins. Prices are a joke on their coins and don't get me started on the shitty attitude and zero customer service. Too bad they lose out on customers looking to spend money because they spend all their time ripping off the long ass line of people trying to pawn read more

Ordered a camera rated at "Very Good" from Pawn1st via the Buya website. While the camera was NOT very good, I find it frustrating that they bothered to take a detailed photo of minor nicks on an edge while not showing the gauging of the LCD screen in the back (highly visible once the screen is turned on) or the extensive denting on the lens area or, in fact, the distortion of the lens itself. In addition, it did not come as pictured (missing the camera strap) but hey, can't use the camera anyway so that's a moot point. Their shipping fee and return shipping would have made a "money back" proposition 40% of what was put into it... On their good side, they packed it well and got it to me as quick as possible. So, if you want to buy a hammer from these guys, yeah, probably a safe deal. No creature in their right mind (or even slightly twisted) could have rated that camera even as high as "fair." read more

We have done business with this pawn shop a few times and highly recommend it. Rahul always takes exceptional care of our needs and provides amazing customer service. Beware!!!! Beware!!! If your reading this you might be looking to pawn an article, in need of emergency cash. In which case I'm not sure this will be of much help. I do think you should know what your getting. If you are a musician, have a piece of gear, you need to pawn, KNOW THIS, if it is nice, the staff will be using it. Yes, they will tell you it doesn't happen at our store.. DON"T believe it!!! They will great you with a warm assuring smile, " your item is safe with us"... no , no its not. : ( I was in need of cash, (family loss). I pawned 3 vintage neuman microphones. The first time I did so. There was no problem. the Second time, YIKES!!! I first noticed they couldn't find two of my microphones. Hummm... how is this possible. (CARTONS WERE BOTH OPENED) On inspection the 'body's' of the mics were checked,(scratched and dinged.) Interesting because the manager and I had both inspected them on arrival with no such damage. When I discovered this, I didn't say anything at first. They still had yet another microphone in there possession. I quickly gathered the money to get the third unit. Too late... sadly... it too have being used. So, I ran tests on all 3 units. 2 of the capsals are damaged, only 1 survived. I brought this to the managers attention, he said next time 'I'll put them in the safe" , Really??? He said he had seen all types of things by employees,... ya, so where dose that leave me? two damaged original microphones that came in in pristine condition, now leaving damaged. If you are leaving anything you hope to see again, forget this company. Looking at the reviews of others I can see I am not alone. There are other pawn shops out there. If enough of us go to them maybe we can begin to shut these guys down. I hope my review helps someone who was unsure as to what you can expect from this company. I will be sending them the bill, which I am quite positive they will not be paying. Last I checked they are responsible for the acts of their agents/employees. They figured I wouldn't figure out what they had done. In short they are a RIP OFF!!! DON'T Be FOOLED!!! read more

Got 20 DVD's for $20. Most of them looked new/never used. This place has LOTS of cool stuff.

I want to thank Joey Pool and his Manager Pedro, they were professional and fair when I had to return an item I purchased, they understood it was not compatible for my purpose at college and they returned 100% of my money. They have really cool stuff and will definitely shop here again. Happy Customer :) Dw read more

I've been in this shop many a times and purchased items with them many times in the past but yesterday's experience left me rather cold. I went in on a whim just to see what kind of merchandise they had in. Saw a particular item I wanted to look at but needed some assistance to see it (it was on a higher shelf and the shelf was just out of my reach). I stood there for roughly 5 minutes waiting for an associate to see if I needed assistance while others came in after me and the associates helped THEM. FINALLY someone came and asked if I needed helped and I basically told her not anymore and that I was leaving with my reasons (them taking forever to acknowledge me). The girl didn't even apologize...pretty much an "ok then" with ZERO empathy in her voice for what she and her colleagues had done. As someone in customer service this appalls me to no end. The stars are for the merchandise but Pawn 1st you get ZERO stars your total disregard for customer service. read more

i just bought some merchandise they posted on craigslist advertising, "very good - an item that is used but still in very good condition. no damage to the jewel case or item cover, no scuffs, scratches, cracks, or holes. the cover art and liner notes are included. the video game instructions and box are included. the teeth of disk holder are undamaged. minimal wear on the exterior of item. no skipping on cd/dvd. " the item was a bundle pack for guitar hero guitars. i was only interested in buying one but decided to get both since i could have a friend play. well to my surprise both of the guitars do not work. i can't strum down on them, they are utterly useless pieces of crap. i will not be shopping here again. read more
