Much better choices in the LA area with staff that are actually helpful, friendly, and professional. This was a one-and-done. I was so put off, I left without purchasing anything. I was actually pissed that after being treated so poorly, my friend chose to spend ANY money there. The responses to reviews on here are just as cold and patronizing so obviously it's a systemic problem If yelp allowed me to leave zero stars I would. Same amount of money I ended up spending there.

This is the place to come. My description is only a brief list of the Services and products that they offer. Fernanda it's not only knowledgeable, but definitely the pen expert in the building. She kindly and patiently explained to me the differences between length, width, color and materials when it comes to penmanship. I had the pleasure of also utilizing their gift wrapping services, which is also something I highly recommend. They have some wonderful choices in the store, but you can also bring your own, which I definitely did. I love how all the prices are clearly labeled for every item even the smallest of attachments. This let someone immediately know the value of an item and what is required to obtain the goals for a project that someone is pursuing.

[Products]: Most of the stickers are original artwork with only a few anime IPs (less than 1/8 of all stickers). I thought their LA County stickers (including some cities from San Bernardino County) for each city were pretty neat. The shop also has some decent Japanese-brand notebooks, toolboxes, pens, etc. Customers can also make their own through the website by uploading their own images (minimum order of 50 stickers). [Conclusion]: The store is not everyone's cup of tea, but for the right target customers this is an amazing store.

Apparently they have a long standing history in LA, having opened in 1946 after World War II. The shop occupies the site of the first Japanese-owned business in Los Angeles, circa 1890's. Pretty cool! I have a soft spot for everything animal shaped and soo.... I picked up a fun/odd felt tiger Christmas ornament, a cat pen, and a super cute bronze cat shaped spoon that hangs on the side of your cup. Did I need it? No.... but it's fun and makes me happy. Haha! Overall, great shop to browse around and find some unique gift items. They even wrap up your purchases in paper bags like they do in Japan. I LOVE IT!

Please support this USPS!!!…read more This USPS is essential to Chinatown and the federal government recently tried to shut it down. They now offered the owner Peter Kwong $100 a year instead of their regular contract. This is likely the only CPU that accepted such a ridiculous offer but Peter wanted to keep it open for the community, especially the elders that need this service. Peter has been operating at a loss for the last 26 year but now he will really be bleeding red. The workers need their job and the community needs this USPS. I know there has been comments about their service but please give grace to the older worker and please support its cause. We are fighting for the community so hope you all can do the same but making this USPS your go to USPS.

I was given Paul's information from a friend that used the Party Printer for her wedding invitations. I went in and was overwhelmed with how many samples they had. I went home, collected ideas of what I wanted, and came back mid week when it wasn't so busy to discuss my invitations. Paul was very thorough when discussing my design idea. My proof came a little later than originally promised. I was a pain and went through 3 revisions before I got exactly what I wanted. I am beyond pleased with the result. They turned out so good.
