    Breakfast bagel from heaven:)
    Mary D.

This is a great little cafe just slightly off the beaten path. Home of their own roastery and kitchen and literally steps away from Mount Royal Bagel, you are guaranteed a fresh, delicious, made to order (for the most part) experience. I'm a huge fan of the breakfast bagel with bacon though I saw a girl eating a grilled sticky bun that makes me think I have many more delicious foods to try here in my future. The staff is friendly, no elitist coffee snobbery here, thank god! You can also pick up on-site roasted beans to take home if you'd like. So, all in all, good real food paired with great service and a damn fine americano is why I come back:)

All wrapped up! What a fantastic experience!

Great food, atmosphere, coffee, and people. I recommend the lox bagel and breakfast bagel with all the toppings cut in half.

I find the Lox on Bagel very tasty but the casual furniture awkward. If you wish to eat, take a booth.

A relaxing stop with excellent food and drinks anytime we need to unwind for an hour. The breakfast sandwiches are wonderful.

Really like the coffee here. Food is so good but since going off gluten I can't enjoy their amazing breakfast bagel :(

Review Highlights - The Parsonage Cafe

Parsonage Cafe and Fernwood Coffee Company are quite similar and synonymous and honestly I have had great experiences here.

Truedan Premium Bubble Tea - Ordered grapefruit jasmine green tea 30% sweet and got an extremely sweet grapefruit lemon jasmine green tea instead.

Came in on a weekday afternoon and it was completely empty. The employee stood up and greeted me as…read moresoon as I walked in, which was nice, and answered the questions I had about the menu. (Sidenote: I was asking about some drinks I saw listed on their website that I didn't see on their physical menu in the restaurant, which they apparently don't actually serve. They might want to update their online menu then...) I ordered a grapefruit jasmine green tea with pearls, 30% sweet and 30% ice. I got my order, grabbed my straw, and left, which was my biggest mistake, because when I got home, I suffered from one of the sweetest drinks I ever drank in my entire life; I regretted not trying it right away and seeing if they could remake it. I reread the label to see if they got my order wrong, and I saw it was "--pefruit lemon jasmine --en tea), --- gar, 30% ice." Clearly the label was cut off, so I don't know if they misheard my sweetness level, or if 30% was truly that sugar bomb I drank. They did technically get my drink name wrong as well, though lemon should've made my drink more sour, not sweet. I couldn't taste any tea flavor at all--not sure if I buy the whole "fresh fruit juice used" on their website, because I've had grapefruit juice before, and it should not taste artificial fruit syrup sweetner. The pearls themselves were on the soft side, but I didn't have too many qualms with that. I have had Truedan in San Francisco and have only had good drinks with them, so I figured that given that they're a chain, they would be consistent, but this visit was unfortunately disappointing. I might come back and try another drink to see if it was perhaps an off-day, but otherwise, I'll be getting my bubble tea fix elsewhere.
