This is a review of their UHaul truck rental service…read more I know most people are here for the self storage but incase anyone was wondering about their UHaul rental service, it's pretty great. I called in towards the end of the day because the previous location I was intending to rent a truck from was unavailable due to maintenance issues. I was glad that they allowed me to borrow the truck. They had someone booked for the next morning so they could have denied me the rental since, I technically had 24hrs once I had the truck and if I didn't bring it back, while I would still be within contract, this location would suffer a bit on reputation. I'm glad they work on trust and of course I did return the truck back the night before the next person needed it. They also provide a lock on the truck with the key attached to the car keys. This isn't required of UHaul and I simply haven't seen it done before. Great added service. If I'm in the area and I need another UHaul, I would happily come here.

I cannot recommend Anchor Storage Arlington (now under new ownership and called Iron Guard…read moreStorage). I have rented a 10' x 30' unit for the last 6 years and although the rent price did increase periodically while it was Anchor Storage, it never jumped up in price like it recently has since being acquired by Iron Guard. Rent went up 80$ per month on my unit! NOTHING has been done to improve the facility. Gates are chincy and act like they don't want to open up all the way, turns and corners are so tight that it is extremely difficult to maneuver a moving truck or truck pulling a trailer. This is why the corners and sides of their units are all scraped up with paint from vehicles, storage units have openings in the roof line and my belongings are so covered in dirt and dust that has blown in and settled (and this storage facility is surrounded by industrial area, dirt parking lots for semi trucks and road construction so you can imagine how much dirt is flying around outside in the area). Also, and this is NASTY, so many of my belongings are covered in absolute filth from mice. Piss stains, poop droppings, mattresses and pillows that were in bags have been chewed into and left with holes. I went to the office at 9:30a this morning (they open at 9:00a). Open sign was turned off and door was locked. 9:00a opening time was posted on their window. I went to my car and tried calling the number for Iron Guard and their automated message told me to stay on the line and someone would be right with me. It played that message over and over for 10 minutes while I waited for them to answer their phone. They never did and they also never opened up their office during that time. I had gone there this morning to give my vacate notice. Guess I will have to waste my time again tomorrow. This makes me even more anxious to terminate my business with them. I do not recommend this storage facility at all. They are greedy and don't do anything to improve their grounds and units. Maybe new ownership will bring some needed changes but so far in the last 6 months I haven't noticed anything except for new signs that say Iron Guard Storage and the biggest increase in rent price that I have ever seen at a storage unit. Also, 172nd is a traffic nightmare and getting in and out of this place can be frustrating to say the least. With the Amazon building and tons of other construction in the area, it will only get worse.

Two months in a row, I sent them our rent amounts due, (via our bank's bill pay system.) I have used Armadillo storage at 23031 Hwy 99 in Edmonds WA 98026 For both business and personal…read morestorage off and on for close to 20 yrs. I have researched other storage companies in the surrounding area and I can tell you, there is nothing out there that comes close to the secured storage that Armadillo provides. They have live security cameras throughout the property. Other storage companies did not have a "live security system" in place. Plus, those that do not have a person on site was a real turn-off for me because you have to work through a kiosk on the property and they pick the location of the unit for you. I wanted to choose the location of my unit because I didn't want to be assigned to an area in the back of the property. I think that would be an ideal area for someone to break in to units. At the location I mentioned above, I have worked with two outstanding employees (Lily and Jesse) that have helped me with renting unites and setting up automatic monthly payments for those units. They are incredible to work with! They are very familiar with the property and it's availability. They also keep the property looking well maintained. It was a great experience to work with people on site that have the knowledge to manage the property and could show me the size and locations of actual units. For me, that was bliss. If you want the best that's out there, go with Armadillo. Pat
