My Dad ordered a drink and the bartender made fun of him for the drink order and said they don't call them that. Ok, whatever, no big deal. We sat at the bar had more people join our group. We were ignored after our first drinks were served. We weren't drinking anything fancy or time consuming. We weren't able to get another drink. The male bartender was only interested in serving you if you want to buy a lot of shots. So he could stand on a step stool dance around and pour them like he was in coyote ugly. Such a disappointment. The music was good although loud but good. The vibe until the bartender had a meltdown and started throwing a tantrum with another patron was enjoyable. Who screams and yells at a person for asking for a beverage when you are in fact there to serve them beverages!? Hopefully but doubtful they will make a change.

The view is pretty good if you are sitting at the edges. I have been told you have to beware some tourists that'll wrestle up to the side to capture the sunset even if you have already been sitting there so prepare for that. The Bar proper is pretty generic and the drinks are ok-ish as i have had better for less elsewhere. Even with that its still a cool place to visit once in awhile. If you ARE going to be sitting at the bar be cautious of the local bee's wanting to share space with you. Just dont sit by the areas where the drink ingredients are stored on the top and you should be ok. I enjoyed the Freakshow wine (the blend) that I was served. There are a couple of TVs in one of the larger rooms - that coupled with $2 mimosas on Sundays makes this a solid spot for Sunday funday fans. Like the neighboring businesses, the Patio Lounge backs up to the Pinellas Trail, which although is not a new thing, provides a peaceful walk from the bar to the other bars (or the parking garage). They've now changed their system and it is $10 cover, which I think is quite reasonable. We came at 10 PM on a Saturday night, and usually it isn't a cover for ladies after 10 PM, but this happened to be a special night. (It was Latin dance night after and cover increased to $20 at 11 pm) It was still well worth paying $10 for both my husband and me. Especially since the parking garage close by is free. Every song they played for that hour was a banger. They get a ton of requests, so either come earlier and put your request in or be prepared to pay to have your song played. They do try to get to every song and it was quite impressive seeing them fly through the songs of the very end. What really impressed me is one of the pianists learned a couple of songs by listening to them under the staircase and coming back to play it, because he hadn't heard it before. One of those songs was Golden from K-pop Demon hunters, which I absolutely love. I was very impressed that he picked it up so quickly and did a very good job with his limited knowledge of the song. It was a highlight of the night for sure. This place does get busy, but it doesn't feel overly crowded. You may not get a table if you get there late, but there's plenty of standing room and it is easy to get a drink at the bar. I would highly recommend this to anyone who enjoys sing-along songs, so think songs from the 80s and 90s, and enjoys being part of a fun crowd.
