I would definitely use this service for my pets, safe and reliable. My dog has had 5 classes with Blaire and I trust them with my pets life.

Pasek Kalee, DVM - Time to say goodbye

Pasek Kalee, DVM

Once again, Dr Pasek and her uniquely qualified assistant, Rhiannon, helped me walk an elderly pet…read moreto the other side. Actually what they did was give me three of our best years together by accurately diagnosing his physical state for the first time in the 12 years that I'd owned him. It was a miracle. I thought I was calling her three years ago to put him down, and what happened instead was that we found out why he was sick. And they tenderly helped me care for him in his final time on this planet. They are compassionate, knowledgeable, and genuinely seem to care. It was important for me that he died at home so that the other two pets could know that he was gone to assist in their grieving. Dr.Pasek and Ray patiently and intuitively held space for me to find the right time. I highly recommend this team of professionals, not only professionals, but friends.

Dr. Pasek comes to your home for veterinary care, eliminating the difficulty and stress of schelping senior dogs to the animal clinic. At almost 16 years old, Scout's health was declining as she started to have a lot of medical issues that are common for older dogs. It became nearly impossible to transport her to our Vet's office. Scout weighed in at 60 pounds, she could barely see or hear and was so stressed when in the car. Thank God for Dr. Pasek who could examine and treat Scout in the comfort of our home. Over the past few months, Dr. Pasek advised us on how to assess Scout's Quality of Life and when to determine the 'right' time to let her go. She and her staff were kind, caring, professional and patient making this difficult time more manageable. When the time came to end our darling Scout's life, Dr. Pasek and her staff provided a beautiful ending to a beautiful life. In our serene backyard where Scout frolicked her whole life, she was put to 'sleep' surrounded with love and then taken away for Aquamation. Afterwards, Dr. Pasek presented us with a book she wrote about grieving for your pet. It was well-written, heart-felt and offered great constructive advice on coping with the loss of a pet. The next day, a single rose arrived on our doorstep in memory of Scout's passing from Dr. Pasek. We highly recommend her services. Dr. Pasek is a top-notch vet and a really nice person. It might be a little pricey, but worth it as she helped us get through this traumatic fact of life...or rather death. Arlene and Dennis H. Ventura, CA

Animal Holistic - Freeway enjoying his happy place thanks to Dr. Kim

I'm so grateful to Dr. Kim for treating my Boston Terrier in August and September 2020 when he was…read morein severe pain. He hurt himself while playing with his buddy. He was able to walk and move around on his own but it was visibly painful for him to do so. He was unable to jump and he refused to play or go for walks. All he wanted to do was sleep. Going potty even seemed like a chore for him because walking was painful. My boy left his first visit with Dr. Kim being able to walk without pain. He jumped into my small SUV before I could bend down to pick him up following his second visit with her. The third visit was a turning point because he jumped off of her treatment table for the 1st time and acted like he had never been injured. Dr. Kim told us to rest him in his crate after this particular appointment because he felt so good after his 1st 2 appointments that he did too much and ended up in pain again. When we let him out of his crate after his rest period, he started playing, running, jumping and acting like his normal rambunctious self. He never slipped back into pain again but he saw Dr. Kim a couple more times just for good measure because we were moving out of state. Dr. Kim is THE BEST canine chiropractor that I've ever known. She's extremely gentle and her treatments are effective and efficient. I love that her previous background in therapeutic bodywork carried over into her practice because my boy got way more than just a chiropractic adjustment. Dr. Kim doesn't just " treat 'em and street 'em."She educates you about what she's doing and includes you in the treatment process. She actually took the time to teach me things that I could do with my boy at home to promote his healing and strengthening. She found the root cause of my boy's pain and was able to treat/fix his problem. His symptoms completely disappeared once she fixed his problem (his sacrum was stuck). She's truly AMAZING and I haven't been able to find another doggie chiropractor like her. Dr. Kim also did a great job treating my husband and me for our aches and pains. I love that she can treat pets AND humans. She's one of a kind and I miss her.

They treated my husband and me with respect and worked with us to make our rescue happen. We have another dog, and they let us bring our dog in over a period of weeks to get Casper used to the idea of having a brother. The wonderful and diverse volunteers and the CARL management team used their own funds(and a lot of love) to nurse Jake back to health. We were fortunate to come across CARL and to have Jake adopt us! It is important to mention that CARL gets some of its funding from the private kennel they run at the same site. If they treat the paid "guests" to anything near as well as the rescue, then your dog(s) are in for a treat(and you are helping to fund the shelter). The place is large, with three large and enclosed lawn areas. Many volunteers are constantly playing with, walking, or sneaking the rescue dogs some treats. Please consider them when you need a kennel or if you are considering a new "family member."
