Thankfully they gave him a chance and we couldn't be happier. In fact, I think it's been a key role in his behavior lately. I've been much less concerned while taking him out to chase ball at the park when strangers ask to greet him. And he's been noticeably more laid back about strangers coming up to him. I admit, there could be a number of factors that are contributing to this better behavior, but thought I'd share. They've also been great about my MANY last minute changes to boarding him longer or shorter than expected -- they work with you. Oh and they're also very active on social media (Instagram) which I appreciate. Big thanks!

She answered all my questions during the assessment/in take. Staff all seemed very nice! We would have loved to get my pup in. :( I asked I think 3x for price packaging on doggy daycare with a promise to provide, but I still don't know how much daycare packages are. Im also surprised that no other staff member were able to provide this information; it was all vectored through Shelbi, and texting her directly. Initially, I was more understanding about the delay in response, but this has been on going for over a month. We had a tentative schedule for a complimentary half day, Shelbi said she'd "let the staff know", but there was no followup? At this point, I'm taking it Shelbi doesn't want my business. I'm so grateful to Dr. Kim for treating my Boston Terrier in August and September 2020 when he was…read morein severe pain. He hurt himself while playing with his buddy. He was able to walk and move around on his own but it was visibly painful for him to do so. He was unable to jump and he refused to play or go for walks. All he wanted to do was sleep. Going potty even seemed like a chore for him because walking was painful. My boy left his first visit with Dr. Kim being able to walk without pain. He jumped into my small SUV before I could bend down to pick him up following his second visit with her. The third visit was a turning point because he jumped off of her treatment table for the 1st time and acted like he had never been injured. Dr. Kim told us to rest him in his crate after this particular appointment because he felt so good after his 1st 2 appointments that he did too much and ended up in pain again. When we let him out of his crate after his rest period, he started playing, running, jumping and acting like his normal rambunctious self. He never slipped back into pain again but he saw Dr. Kim a couple more times just for good measure because we were moving out of state. Dr. Kim is THE BEST canine chiropractor that I've ever known. She's extremely gentle and her treatments are effective and efficient. I love that her previous background in therapeutic bodywork carried over into her practice because my boy got way more than just a chiropractic adjustment. Dr. Kim doesn't just " treat 'em and street 'em."She educates you about what she's doing and includes you in the treatment process. She actually took the time to teach me things that I could do with my boy at home to promote his healing and strengthening. She found the root cause of my boy's pain and was able to treat/fix his problem. His symptoms completely disappeared once she fixed his problem (his sacrum was stuck). She's truly AMAZING and I haven't been able to find another doggie chiropractor like her. Dr. Kim also did a great job treating my husband and me for our aches and pains. I love that she can treat pets AND humans. She's one of a kind and I miss her.

Got dog problems? Not for long! Call Allan! I am a first…read moretime dog owner and this year adopted two rescue dogs. I had owned cats all my life and had no knowledge at all about dogs. So when Venus and Marley came into our family life we were eager but not very informed. Our dogs are lovely, sweet animals (obviously a rescue wasn't going to give first timers problem dogs) but they had a few quirks in their behaviour that were really bringing our family down. The main one was incessant barking out the windows of the house at everyone who walked past. The other one was that the dogs slept in our bed and it was causing back pain for my husband to sleep in strange positions. My husband was really getting over it - between the lack of sleep, back pain and barking he was getting ready to send little Venus and Marley to the returns desk. We had previously tried group dog lessons at Rancho Park and were definitely the class dunces. I really couldn't face 2 months of turning up once a week to a group lesson just to make little progress and be demoralized by the perfectly placid poodles and old dogs who aced the class. Then I had the good fortune of meeting a friendly, helpful dog owner at Culver City Dog Park. He said "Oh, you should meet Allan. Here is his card." I spoke with Allan and booked him to come to my house, meet the dogs in their domain and talk about our specific issues. What an amazing day! When Allan arrived he asked me about our issues and while he patiently listened to my tale of woe he quietly observed the dogs. What I saw next was truly amazing. Within two hours he established himself as the dominant animal in the pack, instructed the dogs and me on how to keep them away from the window. Taught me how to correct the dogs behaviour when they transgressed. He also taught me and the dogs that my bedroom is off limits and how to reinforce this behaviour. Then, because he had nailed all the crucial problems well before two hours he also took on how to get the dogs to walk well on a leash and behave themselves around unfamiliar dogs on the street and also how to get the dogs from mobbing people who enter the house. By the end of two hours the dogs were fully submitting to the new rules. To see Allan work his magic on dogs is truly amazing. Allan then follows up at the end of the month to check if there have been any issues with sticking to the new system - Allan is also available via text, phone and email if anything crops up in the meantime. From the end of the first 2 hour session the dogs were transformed. No returns desk here. Of course, it is up to the dog owner to enforce the rules and not get soft on their cute little mutts - any backsliding we had during the month was entirely from members of the family not following through on the rules established by Allan. I can't recommend Allan enough. He is a complete professional. A great listener. A dog pro and he gets the result you want very fast - truly, at the end of the 2 hour session our dogs were reformed!

I booked my appointment couple weeks out due to Allan's schedule and mine as well...I had contact him thinking my appointment should be coming up and asked him when it was exactly. He told me it was suppose to be the previous week but he had an emergency. But didn't feel the need to let me know. So I reschedule with him.. We had been communicating via text. So I booked another appointment and he didn't get back to me until 2-3 days later. Telling me it won't work so he asked about the weekend and I said ok. Didn't hear from him til the weekend saying he had another emergency! So he asked for the following week I knew he wasn't going to reply quick enough so said yes it'll work and sent my address. Of course haven't heard from him. So the appointment came around and he didn't show up or bothered to contact me so if you're thinking to use his service be aware that he will lag on getting back to you. It's very unprofessional of him how he handle his business and especially with new customers. I have clients and I have never handles any regular clients or new clients of mine the way how he handle me as a new customer for his business
