This place was so cute and fun! Lots of pottery options to choose from and love that they offer refreshments as well. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely go back

This was by far the best paint your ceramic studio I've been too! They offer a wide variety of snacks and drinks including Ice cream and wine. A variety of pieces to choose from. They have several stencils, paint brushes and sponges to use. It is a bit pricey like most ceramic studios. The staff was super friendly and accommodating. Everything was very clean and organized even with how busy it was. You can call ahead to reserve a spot. We were a walk in around noon and it started filling up shortly after we were seated. We parked a couple blocks away by the flea market since we planned on stopping at several stops.

My girls and I like to paint items as gifts for people. Half the time, we decide to keep them, but that's just the way it is. I prefer it to the mall. We just moved here and had our spot in Redmond. This place was superior in a few ways. 1) All colors are available at each table, though there are about 50 colors. You can pluck from another empty table if you are missing something. 2) We had a waitress who served us ice cream and mimosas. 3) They take tap to pay It is a pretty penny, so save up for your experience. A date with my kids was about $50 before tip. They ask you to write your name in pencil on your item and take a pic of it before leaving. I also took a pic of my receipt. It is not as disorganized as other reviews lead you to believe. Also, the service was incredible. If anyone appeared snooty, it was the other customers. It was very busy and reservations are recommended. They squeezed us in before an afternoon reservation. Customer service does not mean kissing ass all hours of the day. The love you make is the love you take.

I've been here multiple times and it's always so much fun! They have a huge variety of pottery to choose from and the staff is wonderful. Definitely recommend Painted Plate!

I've been here 5 times in the past two months. I seriously love it. There has been someone different working there each time. 4 out of the 5 employees have been super friendly and provided awesome customer service. I can't remember all their names, I think one was named Autumn or Meadow and another was Izzy. There was only 1 girl that I have any complaints about, I don't think she told me her name, but she seemed very bothered that I was there and annoyed when I ordered some coffee. It was the middle of the week and it wasn't even busy. Like I said though, most of the staff has been awesome. I strongly recommend going on a weekday, it's a nice atmosphere when not all the tables are full and it's actually quite relaxing. I have been there on a chaotic Saturday night and it wasn't horrible, but I definitely don't prefer it. I've had a few food items off their menu, the artichoke pesto and bruschetta with the parmean crostinis are delicious and good sized portions for 2 people to share. I have yet to try the ice cream, but I have seen others order and it looks like their portions are quite generous. I especially love that you dont have to feel rushed to get a piece done and can come back another day to finish up. It can definitely get a bit pricey, but I'd say it's worth it.

Taste testing is fun for the new flavors. I had two taste tests that made me change my regular, which is 2 scoop sundae with 2 of the coconut ice cream, vegan with hot fudge and PB sauce (you get two toppings with sundaes). But, the taste test won the trophy for excellence today. I forgot to photograph the sundae and the staff glady made samples to photograph. So, the photo with 2 spoons; left Apple Crisp, right is Sweet Potato ice creams. So the sundae was Sweet Potato on bottom, Apple Crisp on top with Bumble Berry (whatever berries they can source) sauce and peanuts on as my 2 toppings. The Apple Crisp was full of a crisp's goodness in the topping. Balanced with the creamy ice cream that didn't overpower the crisp feel. With toppings mostly eaten here on this top scoop-- would make an excellent one scoop sundae. But, then came the Sweet Potato. Note I really don't like Sweet Potato Casserole at Thanksgiving with the candied tubers in syrup. They're already sweet, just put mine in foil and toss on the oven somewhere you need space between things. Butter and salt and pepper. Today was different, creamy homemade light ice cream with sweet potato barely folded in so you can see the layers on your spoon, then comes nuts and mini marshmallows- just melt in your mouth good. I want this at my Thanksgiving party this year! Go to Sweetlee's, they make it all, I've included the menu. Two locations. I usually am near West Olympia so frequent there. Best friendly staff, clean, plenty of little tables to eat there. Pints and quarts to go. Homemade. What more do you need, but a bamboo spoon? Enjoy PS There is a single Pic of their Salty Caramel ice cream. Too salty for me, gentleman told me it was better inside of a Brownie Hot Fudge Sundae. I think I'd slip in coconut, cuz it tastes like supper not dessert. It's very popular, but taste test all your choices first anyways!

We didn't like the wooden spoons because you can taste them, so we got plastic ones from another restaurant. Service was great and I felt the prices were fair!

Maybe because I am not the biggest fan of this type of dessert, but I tried the new chocolate raspberry flavor, which was nothing special. Salted caramel was overwhelmingly sweet. I love sweet, but that flavor was too much. The milk cocoa flavor not as yummy as I thought... I loved the toppings and this is the first time that I saw a Menchie's be topped off on everything. Impressive! The service was great! Very kind-hearted staff at the front that walked through how the frozen yogurt purchase process worked. did not make me feel dumb when I asked questions. Was very patient to answer questions and clarify the discount for Veterans Day to me. I liked that there were tables in and out of the shop. Felt roomy, even in the area where you get the frozen yogurt and toppings. Pleasantly surprised! I wish that they had more activities with the Menchie's character line, like coloring pages, black/whiteboards, or games. I had been meaning to try Humble Cow for a while after a friend recommended it to me, especially…read moresince I was craving ice cream today, so I stopped by in the afternoon around 3pm. I ordered a single scoop of the coconut cream in a waffle cone. At first glance, the scoop looked a little small, but it actually ended up being a satisfying portion. Pricing also felt pretty fair; it's around $5 for a single scoop of ice cream, which isn't bad nowadays (considering the economy), and the waffle cone was only a little extra. They also offer some dairy-free flavors, which is perfect for those who are lactose intolerant, like myself (I still ignored my better judgment and went for the coconut cream anyway LOL). For my kiddo, I ordered a root beer float with a single scoop of cookies and cream ice cream shortly before I had to go pick him up from school, and he really enjoyed it as an after-school treat. While sitting inside, I noticed how surprisingly busy this place gets for an ice cream shop. The seating setup was nice too, especially the little single-seat table that worked perfectly for someone visiting alone like me. They also have a filtered water station available for customers, which I thought was pretty nice since I was thirsty after finishing my ice cream, along with an outdoor seating area if you'd rather sit outside. Unfortunately, the outside patio area doesn't really catch much sunlight, so if you're hoping to sit in the sun, the best spot is probably near the front entrance instead. The shop itself was also very clean. Whenever there was downtime, the staff stayed busy cleaning windows, making waffle cones, or working in the back. As for the ice cream itself, I thought it was good. The coconut cream almost had a slightly sherbet-like texture to it, but I actually didn't mind. The flavor selection had enough variety, and it looks like they rotate limited-time flavors as well. None of the seasonal ones stood out to me this visit, but I'd probably be interested in coming back around fall. I do wish they had more consistently available unique flavors though (things like matcha, taro, or Thai tea would be amazing). The only thing that kept this from being a 5-star experience for me was the customer service. It wasn't rude, just very flat and straightforward. From observing all the interactions, the staff was noticeably more energetic and cheerful whenever families or kids walked in. Meanwhile, interacting with me felt a little dismissive in comparison. Not a huge deal, but it was blatantly obvious, and I felt a little uncomfortable. Still, the ice cream was tasty, affordable, and the atmosphere was pleasant enough that I could see myself stopping by again someday.
