WOW! This was my first tattoo. Burned like hell but I'm used to pain. Sea turtles were my daughter Sarah's animal. She passed away in April 2025. This came out better than expected. It's amazing. Awesome experience as it's my first tattoo. I recommend booking for your initial consultation instead of doing a walk-in. After the receptionist asked a few questions, she recommended George to work with me. He listened to my ideas and concerns; within an hour, he did a rough sketch to my liking and agreed on an appointment to be on a weekend so I have time to relax before heading back to work. They ask for a deposit which will be added to their hourly rate. Since he knows it's my first tattoo, George made sure that I was as comfortable as possible, he offered breaks in between and water which I didn't take since I brought my own. I did bring my headphones to drown out any noise and dressed comfortably. Other than that, the place is spacious and very clean. It has a welcoming atmosphere making you at ease as you walk in the door. Also, there's enough parking spots. Highly recommend! read more

If you want to work for the artist this shop is for you if you want the artist to work for and with you save your 100$ booking fee because you will not even see a design before an appointment. Not even in the shop. I understand protecting your art as an artist but I also understand as an artist you're not always working for yourself sometimes you work for the buyer. I came here a couple months ago to get a consultation from Sheryl after doing significant research and figure out kind of an idea what I wanted. Sheryl was super amazing from the beginning. I wanted one of my older tattoos from 2014 redone and just kind of brightened and relined. Then I also want a tattoo for my grandma who passed the day before my birthday. I honestly would suggest Sheryl any day. Even though she was booked out, she did give me a rough estimate of how long it would take to get the one tattoo done and then re-lining the next tattoo so we booked here for a six hour tattoo. And if it ends up being shorter, you know the price would change. I had to reschedule one time and she was super accommodating and got me in today. From the beginning she made everything comfortable, she showed me her drawing and what she thought and kept to the colors I had in mind. I was super fidgety of a person the entire time and she was accommodating about that. We were able to take breaks when I needed and for food of course which I had delivered to the shop. Overall, what she had on paper when it went onto the skin blew my mind. She made it everything I wanted and more. She made the one on my back kind of flow into the one on my arm which was what I wanted. She made the tattoo in memory of my grandma come alive and beautiful. I can't thank Sheryl enough for doing such an amazing job. She put everything that was in my head and brought it out in every way possible. I really like this tattoo shop just in general to add. Walked into this joint after my girlfriend did a ton of reading reviews on tattoo places in Tucson. Nervous as we have both received some jacked up work from highly reviewed places and artist before. As we walked in, we were greeted by a couple of artist that were working on clients and a front desk person. We had a list of items we wanted and were introduced to Brandon and Kev! A friend joined us and decided to get Kev to do a piece for her that night and I spoke to Brandon about some new items I wanted and some coverup/repair work on some existing tattoos. Both of these guys were super chill, explained everything, professional and very honest about their particular strengths and abilities to meet what we were envisioning! I have to say this is by far, the best work artistically and best experience we have ever encountered in "tattoo world". If you are looking for someone who truly takes an interest in representing the best in the business, Go here. I love this place so much. I got my cartilage pierced here a few years ago with Jamie. He's awesome and funny and wonderful at his job. He also recently changed my septum piercing for me (I was switching jewelry for the first time). I tried to describe what I wanted and he knew exactly what that was. I can't say enough good things about this place. My friend and I showed up today for their Black Friday special without knowing what to expect. It was my first tattoo and it had been years since she had one. Everything was well organized and ran smoothly. The shop is extremely clean and well kept! They had food for everyone which was really gracious of them and they worked really hard to be fast and efficient while producing excellent work. Everyone (front desk staff, piercers, tattoo artists) was friendly, professional, and highly skilled. I was very fortunate to have my first tattoo done by Colton (seriously, can't say enough great things about this guy either) Since it was my first tattoo, he tattooed the dot on my "i" first so I could see what it felt like and let him know if I wanted to move forward. He was very accommodating and gave me clear instructions on aftercare as well as his card if I had any concerns. He was patient, kind, personable, and a pleasure to be around. He did a great job making me (and other clients) feel comfortable in the chair. I couldn't have asked for a better artist or better experience. Inkaholics Anonymous is not like other tattoo shops. It's better. For starters, the place does not look and smell like a hospital. Other tattoo shops look like they took a wing of University Medical Center and put up some oriental art. Not this place. Tile floors, glass desks, actually interesting art on the walls. Oh and the layout it great. Reception is mixed in with the tattoo stations, so you can see all the action right when you walk in. In my experience, this really helps get you in the mindset for whatever you're in to do. The staff at Inkaholics couldn't be friendlier or more accommodating. I walked into the shop with a design (some fairly simple lettering) and walked out about 40 minutes later with an awesome new tattoo (thanks to Jynx the Awesome). Oh and did I mention it was cheap? After ten years of not getting any additional tattoo's, I got the bug and got another one. Went in and saw George. Gave him the idea of what I was looking for. He created a quick sketch which I liked and I made an appointment for the next day. Went in the next day, George had the piece fully drawn out. We talked color and I let him to do whatever he wanted. He had some ideas showed me some examples and I liked it so off we went. The place is clean, and everyone there is friendly. George did a wonderful job. I did have to go back for touch-ups, but that is due to the nature of the tattoo being on the top and side of my foot. Now for a place that is kinda hidden and has limited parking, Inkaholics is a diamond in the rough. The store is inviting, and by that I mean there are comfy seats, and a friggin arcade of Centipede with a pinball machine. If i wasn't in a hurry(because i parked in the handicapped spot) I probably would have been stuck there. The woman that did my tapering was really kind and professional. I also met a girl named Starr who is your go to for jewelry. In the future they are trying to order more organic jewelry so keep an ear out . Out of all the years I have had piecing work done, this place is the best. Brian, the piercer who did my labret, was awesome. He is like a big teddy bear and did a great job of making sure I was ok. He likes his job and it shows. I found out from Brian that much of the piercing hygiene care info I was given from previous piercers was very incorrect. I guess some businesses in town still can't handle giving clients proper up-to-date info. Hence, I am and dang lucky to have found this place. Inkaholics Anonymous was filled with customers (which I think says a lot) but it was very stuffy and hot because the room was full. Behind me I heard some happy customers bragging about the work being done on them (tattoos?). That told me I had chosen the right place. So yeah I will be back. A bunch of my friends and I are in town for the weekend and wanted to get tattoos so I spent a while looking up shops. This one looked amazing so I called and they matched me randomly with Colton, I looked up his art and was so excited that they paired me with him because his style is exactly what I was looking for. I was nervous going in because I was getting it on my ribs and I've heard it's a very painful spot. Colten and another artist at the shop reassured me that it isn't as bad as people make it sound. I brought in an image my friend drew but wanted Colton to use creative control and make it more unique. The whole tattooing was amazing, he has a light hand and even though it was on the ribs it was probably one of my least painful tattoos, I was so relaxed I almost fell asleep. During the tattoo he kept checking in with me making sure I was doing ok which was awesome. The tattoo ended up coming out so much better than I could have hoped for and is probably my favorite tattoo.
