My only complaint is that the strawberry frosting on top tasted like freezer or refrigerator taste. I'm not sure where these cakes are being stored at, but please check & correct.. I would have given the cake a ten out of a ten if it wasn't for that refrigerator taste or other that ruined it. I see that another customer had the same experience. Hopefully that issue will get resolved. Thanks

Drove into Olive Branch on a work trip and was blessed with the opportunity to give this local favorite a try! Parking is plentiful and is right outside, not hard to find either! Upon walking in you'll be greeted with the warmest smiles as you head to the counter to order (Don't forget to take a peak in the cases to grab a fresh pastry, baked good, or pre-prepared meal and/or bottled beverage) After asking for recommendations, I landed upon the BLAT and a Peanut Butter Cookie! Everything is made to order and the cookie was served warm, it was the perfect lunch break a girl could ask for! I decided to give A&A a try after coming across this business on yelp. Upon entering, I was greeted by a very friendly lady. They had a nice display case that contained cakes, cupcakes and other treats. I noticed that they had a strawberry cake and I asked to place the order. The young lady informed me that the cake was a tres leche cake, which was something I wasn't familiar with. She explained the process to me and I decided to order a slice first. She gave me a fork and I was able to taste the slice I purchased. Oh my goodness, it was so good!!!! She told me that it would be moist and that it would probably come across as "wet" to some, but I thought it was excellent! The flavor was great and I loved the fact that the icing wasn't extremely sweet. It was not like the typical buttercream icing. I purchased the cake and did not tell others that it was a tres leche cake. (I wanted to see how they would feel about the slightly different texture.) Everyone at the gathering absolutely loved the cake!! I am so thankful that I decided to drop in to this place. We now have a go-to bakery that we will use for all occasions! Highly recommend!!

The cake was decorated decently, however, the inside of the cake layers is buttercream. I found this out after I already took a generous bite and I have been struggling with my stomach since then. The cream cheese icing used was almost unbearably sweet, so unfortunately, a good portion of the cake slices were thrown away and the remainder of the cake will have to be disposed of. I worked in an Italian bakery in NYC for a few years and have never tasted an icing that was THIS sweet. On top of everything else, the cake was supposed to be lemon flavored. I'm assuming they "baste" their cakes either a lemon flavoring because the only area that had any lemon flavoring was the immediately part touching the buttercream that I threw away after the first bite. Overall, I am beyond thankful that my husband wanted to gift me a beautiful and delicious cake, even remembering that I have intolerances to buttercream and my love for lemons, unfortunately, Miss Muff'n did not deliver a good product.
