A classic old-school San Francisco bar that is cash only and has a jukebox that you can request songs on. It has a lower area with taxidermy on the walls. It also has an outside area that sometimes has live music. It's one of our favorite classics in the city

A great chill place on a Sunday at 1. Music was actually fantastic and at a perfect level. Service was friendly and my cider was delicious and only $6!

My favorite bar in SF! I come here nearly every year on my birthday to celebrate another trip around the sun. I know that by removing the pool and foosball table from the lower level helped free up some space inside, but I miss playing a round. They have the friendliest bartenders in the city. They also make great dive bar cocktails (martinis and margaritas) along with having an epic beer (and shot) menu! I hope that the Page never changes, even with its carpeted floors and all!!!

Have been here twice now on a Friday night. Love this bar a lot. It's always crowded out front but the back has some seating and definitely more chill. I couldn't tell you what I usually drink when I go there, but definitely a fun spot I'll be going back to regularly (maybe a dirty Shirley, definitely had a Long Island once)

Cute dimly lit bar with good drinks. In particular I really liked the guava hard kombucha. Also appreciated the abundance of seating and relaxed environment.

Really cool ambiance, the decor and the space itself is really fun. It can get a little crowded at night as they don't have a lot of seating, so you may be standing around. Drinks are ok. Not a lot of cool options - mostly just beer but if that works for you then great! Bartenders were okay too. Not mean but not super friendly. Could be a cool bar hopping spot.

A cool spot from another era! We stopped into The Page for a warm-up before catching a show at the nearby Independent. It was understandably busy on a Friday night around 8 pm but we still managed to find a spot to lean (and eventually sit!) with our cocktails to chat and take in the very cool surroundings. Our whiskey gingers were simple and very well made, and it was fun to hear a cool mix of background music while standing in a classy dive bar that had the vibe of, say, your cool uncle's rec room. As my friend noted, so many bars are modern and polished, but this place probably looks exactly like it did decades ago. Not everything needs to evolve with the times, it can be lovely to pop into places like this - a dark dank lovely escape. Definitely visit before a show, or just when you want to visit a welcoming neighborhood bar. You'll be glad you did.

Love the page. They did great with their sidewalk service through the pandemic and I'm glad to see them thriving afterwards. It's my favorite neighborhood bar. It's comfortable like having friends over to your own home. I love meeting friends here. No tv. Easy to have conversations for hours. And Often there's even really good and not overpowering live music.

Wonderful neighborhood corner bar. The drinks were cheap and strong. They have a nice outdoor sitting area and occasionally have live music.

This taxidermied pal conveyed my feeling about the lack of diversity in the bar, I mean damn!

Comfortable place, some cool decor inside with a dimly lit environment. I went during happy hour and got two Stella Artois on draft for $10.

The bar had choices of food and beverage, the room appeared very clean and the music was just right for us. One hostess was particularly attentive about our choice of table and described such details as pocket sizes and table sizes and also pointed at Brunswick and Diamond brands in the room. We played a nine foot table which was in a very good condition. There was comfortable enough space between tables and we enjoyed the game and the atmosphere. People around the room were nice and friendly. This is really a family place.

However, on Thursday nights, some people participate in local, regional, and international tournaments. They are way better than me and can give a better show. Very basic rules of foosball: Foosball is a fast-paced tabletop game where players use rotating rods to maneuver figures and kick a ball into the opponent's goal. The primary objective is to score a set number of points--typically 5, 9, or 10 goals per game--before the other team does. [1, 2] Core Game Structure: * Setup: A coin toss determines who gets the first serve or choice of table side. * Scoring: The first player or team to reach the agreed-upon score wins the game. Matches are typically decided by a best-of-three or best-of-five game series. * Serving: The ball is placed on the field at the center. The server asks if the opponent is ready, and the ball must be touched by at least two different figures before it can be advanced or shot into a goal. * After a Goal: The team that just conceded the goal gets to serve the next ball. [6] Essential Rules of Play * No Spinning: A spin is an illegal move where the rod completes a full 360-degree rotation without touching the ball. Any goal scored directly off a spin does not count. * No Jarring: Jarring occurs when you slam the rods against the table walls to jar the ball loose or distract your opponent. Aggressive table shaking or banging is forbidden. * Dead Balls: If a ball comes to a complete stop in the middle of the table where neither team can reach it, it is a dead ball. The ball is then given to the player or team who originally served the kickoff. * Time Limits: To keep the game moving, strict time limits are enforced for ball possession. Players typically have 10 seconds to advance the ball from the midfield (5-man rod) and 15 seconds when the ball is on other rods. [5] AI responses may include mistakes. Being a long time customer, I would like to give the management at The Emporium a chance to respond…read moreto the false advertising that happened recently at their venue in San Francisco on 6/13/26. I tried to avoid writing this review by contacting the venue directly but have yet to see a response, so here we are. They had multiple pages on their website saying they are showing all the World Cup games for free, including the game I attended on June 13th. None of the pages I saw mentioned a cover charge for this game. (See the attached screenshots). Also, they had posted similar ads on their social media accounts saying that they are showing the games for free. So after waiting 20 minutes in line for the Brazil vs. Morocco game with no prior warning I was informed there's a $25 dollar entry fee at the door. The game had already started due to the extremely slow door management even though I showed up ten minutes early to get in on time. I just payed the cover because I didn't want to miss any more of the best match for the group stage, and didn't know where else I could go nearby. Once inside the promoter showed the game on a low definition satellite stream that was choppy throughout, and kept cutting out completely, missing parts of the game. On top of all that the promoter was charging $20 for feijoada, which basically is rice, beans, and some meat on top. This seemed draconian considering the ridiculously high price of entry for a game viewing that other venues all over the city showed for free. I would like to know how this obvious disconnect between your advertising and what the promoter actually charged/offered will be addressed to your loyal customers?

Many had cracked ferrules, and the felt on the table shifted under my bridge hand. For $10/hr, I was charged $8.25 for only 20 minutes of table time, which felt unreasonable. What really concerns me is the bigger picture. If a newcomer curious about pool stumbled into this environment, I doubt they'd want to come back.
