I rented a 16' Truck from this location to move my 80 yo uncles things from Arlington TX to Phoenix…read moreAZ. 100 miles out of Arlington we broke down!!! SIX HOURS later we still have no new truck. Budgets own mechanic said the truck is UNREPAIRABLE and that it had broke down and "RIGGED" before with a ZIP tie around the coolant line which could have caught FIRE. THEIR roadside mechanic said this truck should have NEVER be let out on the road. BEWARE BUDGET does not go over their trucks that well for repair and just TURN THEM OVER TO RE RENT AGAIN with VERY SERIOUS MECHANICAL PROBLEMS. We are still waiting on the roadside!!!! DONT RENT AT BUDGET their fleet service department "GILBERT" a roadside fleet Manager says their is nothing he can do to speed this up AFTER already waiting 6 HOURS!!!! DONT RENT with Budget Truck Rental!!!! Update..Owner Christine is sending a letter to Budget on our behalf for a FULL refund..Ill keep you updated.

Man oh Man where do i start ? …read more.... First off, i called Budget rental Truck in Mansfield on a Friday morning to reserve a truck for a couple hours that night. The Owner answered, she was very rude and her customer service skills and customer appreciation was horrible. I asked questions concerning prices and best deals that would fit my move to make it easy. Right ? Wrong... After witnessing this bad attitude of a woman on the phone i knew this was not a professional business. Due to the fact that this specific location was in my surrounding area next to my storage i proceeded to do business. After work i went by at 4:30pm ... (They dont close until 7) BUT when i arrived there was no one in sight. The Front door said OPEN but the door was locked. I called customer Service to clarify the hours of business. They told me to wait around a few minutes maybe they ran an errand.(Which is bad for business) Smh, So i did... Nevertheless... i notice a white Truck pull up 10 minutes after me and lets himself in the back of the gated building... im still waiting... 20 more minutes goes by and FINALLY someone comes to the door at 5:15pm and says " We're closed but what do you want". I politely stated i spoke to the owner earlier about renting a truck that evening and was told they were available....... So... rudely,, The same lady i spoke with on the phone i could tell was the same one who opened the door and did my paperwork process...oh and the guy that seen me waiting outside with the white truck for 45 minutes was her husband. This was there place of residency so i guess they felt they could run a business there way instead of following business operated guidelines... After asking for my ID and a debit/credit card which i handed to her, she proceeded to "swipe" my card but told me her machine "usually takes certain cards and my card was one that it wouldn't take"... So i asked her is it possible to pay the $150 cash? she said yes, theres a gas station next door if you can get the money. I walk to the gas station next door and pull $160 of course considering the ATM only gives in incriments of $20 bills... I get back to Budget where i soon come to find out they didnt have change to give back to me which was $10. So i told them to keep the change as i will get the money back when i pick up the rest of my remaining deposit the following day. I get the truck at about 6pm, i only needed it for a couple hours so it was returned on a full tank as it was given to me. So the next day i get a early phonecall stating that left a cup outside her property and she "saw" me put the cup there...even if she did that means the whole time i was standing outside waiting for 45 minutes for the door to be answered ...she did this with intentions. She said she was charging me a $25 cleanup fee PLUS a $35 gas fee because the truck said it was on "FULL" but her meter inside the gas tank reads otherwise, not only that after i asked why SHE HUNG UP IN MY FACE. At this point i couldnt believe the horrible customer service and the actions this woman thought she could get away with so immediately called Budget Headquarters along with authority to alert them of this awful matter. They said they were cutting a check because this was unheard of coming from a place of business concerning them. With that being said, i was satisfied with the fact that i was no longer getting pushed over but to come to even more of an disaster of an experience i go to get the reciept of these proposterous and false invoiced padd on's in order to pocket the $160 i gave the previous day for deposit and was given that exact receipt with a phonecall phone the cops.... She threatened to pull out a gun all while on the phone with the 911 operator. Mind you, I have my 1 year old daughter in my hand who am i a threat to when im only asking for you to explain the receipt. She felt she could do whatever she wanted and thought the ball was in her court not knowing GOD is ruler and will see all her evil ways and wrong doings. Her not knowing the Headquarters already sent a check over with the amount that was owed back to me, her not knowing The cops we're already called by me before I got there because of the hostility i felt in her voice and way i was treated when i first called..... Note to her, I was always 2 steps ahead of the abuse of power she THOUGHT she had. Concluding this, you get a REVIEW for the world to know and see your true colors and KARMA for your profiling against a customer who brought you service. THEIFING, SNEAKY, NO GOOD , LYING, HORRIBLE PLACE OF BUSINESS. Should be shut down permanately. Just disgusting, I wouldnt recommend my worst enemy to BUDGET TRUCK RENTAL AT 902 Mansfield Webb Rd, Arlington TX.

When I started renting with SecurCare, the unit cost around $125 per month. Every year, the price escalated considerably. By 2019, it had reached $208 per month. When I finally emptied the unit, I discovered there was a large standing pool of water on the floor where furniture and boxes were damaged and a hole in the ceiling that black soot or dust or dirt had coated all my mother's stored belongings. Tracy, the on-site manager was always friendly, but the owners or management over her were not. I was late many times over the years and always paid the late fees that came with that, but I always promised to pay and I ALWAYS did. I don't know how many times the lock was cut off of the unit. I rented with them for over ten years, but not once did upper management EVER cut me some slack. I'm no longer renting from them nor will I ever rent from them again. I would not recommend anyone to rent there either. There are plenty of other options out there. Find another place besides SecurCare. SecurCare does not care about their customer base. They made it absolutely clear to me.

I chose to use this storage facility during the summer of 2010. This facility had the lowest price…read moreavailable at the time that didn't require a long-term lease contract. On the morning of my move in, the property manager was about 30 minutes late in opening the office. Since I was using an hourly truck rental, it was a little bit of an inconvenience. When I signed the rental agreement, the facility had a special which included a free lock for the unit. It turned out the lock, while it was a disk lock, was a small, less secure version. Two months after I moved in, I went back to drop some additional items off and found that the lock had been drilled into. Luckily the lock held, and nothing was stolen. When I brought it to the attention of the property manager, she admitted she was aware that the lock had been tampered with. However, she failed to call me and let me know. In addition, since the lock was almost destroyed it had to be cut off. The property manager informed me that she didn't have anything to remove the lock. I was forced to pay $100 for a locksmith to remove the lock. Needless to say, I moved my stuff to a different storage facility with better management and more security. Some additional notes: -The insurance offered through this storage facility covers only $2000 in damages or loss. Forgo the monthly fee they offer and use your own renter's or homeowner's insurance. -While they like point on that the property manager lives on-site, the facility is located on two different properties, 2 blocks away from each other. Don't let this give you a false sense of security. While the property manager drives around in her golf cart a few times during the day to deter thieves, at night the only thing protecting your valuables is that lock (no security cameras either). -Many units are 18-wheeler accessible. So if you have a big truck, the facility can more easily accommodate you than many Public Storage or similar facilities. -Some units (even my large 25'X30') have only standard doors, rather than the roll-up door. This can make it harder to fit large items or impossible to store any vehicle in many units. Bottom Line: The monthly rent and move-in specials can be appealing, but you'll be sacrificing security, some convenience, and have to put up with apathetic property management.
