The recent menu has a great diversity of options ranging from salads, sandwiches, and entrees. I elected to go with the Birra ramen, not something I would expect to find at this establishment or in this neck of the woods. I was knocked back at how good it was. The broth had rich flavor and the right amount of spice, not enough to burn your mouth, but warm it up and tingle your lips. The beef was tender and cooked to perfection. It hit the spot on a chilly winter night. If you find yourself in the gap and looking for spot to grab a good hearty bite to eat and drink, the Red Horse is your spot!

We started with fried pickles and they were good..I'm not much of a pickle guy. I had the old fashion burger with froes and a side salad. Burger rocked and the fries were amazing. The side salad was top notch, my favorite dressing orange vinaigrette. My wife had the french dip and loved it. My daughter and her best buddy "E" shared the smashburger and burria taco dishes...they loved it and were stuffed. Thank You Mikayli for the wonderful service and such a friendly server.

After cruising several on Yelp, she decided on Robin Hood brewing. I'm so happy she did! We walked in and sat at the bar. Our bartender, I wish I could recall her name, did a terrific job welcoming us and getting us started for dinner. We ordered adult beverages and pretzel bites with the beer cheese to start. I ordered their American IPA while my wife ordered their cherry chill, a seasonal drink. I thought the beer was absolutely tasty and delicious! The pretzel bites came out relatively quickly and were amazingly delicious along with the beer cheese. For our main courses, I ordered the Southwest chicken salad with balsamic vinaigrette instead of their Sriracha ranch and my wife ordered a slice of pepperoni pizza. Again, our meals came out relatively quickly and my Southwest chicken salad was extremely well presented! All of the flavors came together and complemented each other in my salad! I really enjoyed it! My wife thought her slice of pepperoni was fairly good though the crust could've been a little bit more done. As for the cherry chill, it was a little too sweet. That said, it was a terrific visit and if we were in the area, we definitely would be back!

It's very family friendly so expect lots of kids and not a lot of supervision. The food I've had was fine- it's a brewery so I don't expect fine dining. The beer is mid from what I'm told. So are the cocktails. Again, you go for the ability to be social and have a good time.

Due to this, they only had fans to keep cool while circulating the outdoor air. Since we had our pup with us, we were only able to sit in the patio area, but it's not like the "indoor" area was really indoors. Anyways, I wasn't in the mood for drinking, so just had some lunch here. There's two restaurants combined at the food counter (which used to be food trucks here). You can get pizza from pizza and subs from Flo Bros Pizza and wings, burgers and sandwiches from Marin Eats. I had the Crabcake Sandwich ($15) with Tots (+$2). The sandwich was solid and tots were crispy. It's a nice space to hang out with a group. There are pinball machines, cornhole, and games for entertainment. It's nicely situated next to a creek, so you get a bit of nature too.

Also the worst meal and dinner experience I've had in 20 years. Much of what we tried to order was out of stock, some of those items that were in stock omitted ingredients discovered upon consumption (e.g.,, the case of the missing basil in the $18 caprese salad), and what we did get tasted like the lower end of airline food. We were stuck in a kind of covered porch to eat, rather than the actual picturesque old tavern rooms. A sort of long closet with windows. I will not tell you the tale of the 20 minute mystery of the unopened wine bottle. You wouldn't believe me anyway. It is a beer and whisky kind of place. I traveled 45 minutes to experience this historic tavern restaurant. I do not regret it. I embrace it. Trials build character. My wife and I will reminisce fondly on the awfulness of this experience for decades. I just wish I hadn't spent $225 for the privilege. If I had invested this in the stock market, I would have roughly $870 in current purchasing power in about 20 years. This could have been part of my childrens' inheritance. Lift a tankard of ale in the bar and look at the knick-knacks on the walls. Observe the fireplace, read the tavern's architectural history on the menu. Do not eat. Go without. Fasting is good for you. Think of the children.
