Good. Cute little place to stop. Tons of options with even some breakfast choices (egg, bacon, cheese, etc). A little greasy (because it's fried, duh.) and the filling felt more like it came from a can than being homemade. The blackberry was good but the gooey deliciousness falls towards the bottom of the pie so the first few bites are basically pie crust with a bit of blackberry pie filling. The filling was extra tasty. I was a fan of it but not sure if I would stop in if I hadn't already been stopping for gas. Fun for a little one time treat! And cheap. Runs $3.57 after tax.

Not sure why this place has a low rating but I found this place very delicious, the gps takes you to to wrong location but it's next to a subway at a truck stop. Definitely have to ask for fresh hot fried pies to enjoy them better. It does get expensive, I order a dozen pies for almost 38 bucks. Brisket pies were awesome

We first ordered through Uber Eats and loved it so much, we looked them up and realized they were right near us in Lancaster! Since then, we've been consistent supporters because it's just THAT good. Now let's talk favorites. The honey butter cornbread cookies?! Don't be taken aback by the name. Absolute perfection--soft, rich, and melt-in-your-mouth GOOD. And the Oreo cookies?? Whew... easily top tier For the ice cream, the buttered pecan is smooth, creamy, and full of flavor And the cookies n creme?? Loaded, delicious, and everything you want it to be Take home message: If you're anywhere near Lancaster, you NEED to check them out and support this amazing Black-owned business Trust me--you'll be hooked just like we are!

It's located in the same shopping area as the Lancaster Cinema Movies by Aaron's. It does need more marketing and the tree in front of placed in a different place. It's there! Don't drive by it. Why not try it? We went on a Sunday around 2pm and my nose appreciated it tremendously. For the grand opening, all guests were invited to "sign the wall". The wall had 100s of signatures. We were greeted by a newly employed, friendly Miss. The store was clean, clean, clean. FRESH! One large cookie was $3. Special for multiple cookies purchased. They offered minis too. Day old cookies (what's that?) were only $8 for a bag. Did I mention their ice cream? Everything was great. A lil pricey, but we need to support our community FIRST. We will be back.

Hot, fresh and perfectly seasoned catfish; the best we've found in area. The only reason for 4…read morestars vs 5 is that we can't just order fish without fries. The fries are also very good, but for those of us watching carbs, it really is a waste! Again, the fish ranks 5 stars though.

Ladies and Gentlemen...WE HAVE A WINNER~!!!! 6*****…read more Food - OK, this is what G-d meant fried catfish to be. Moist. Flaky. Well seasoned coating. Crisp outside. Thermonuclear hot from the fryer. Just damn good fried catfish. On the downside...the fried shrimp were a bit on the small side and a bit too greasy out of the fryer...however, the shrimp flavor came through. Pre-fab packets of tartar sauce and ketchup are minor demerits; but, the cocktail sauce is homemade with visible flecks of horseradish. Hidden gem - in the bottom of your container, under the fish and fries, are marinated pickle and carrot slices AND a whole jalapeno. There's a kick here that adds a bit of extra spice to your meal. Warning, the tartar sauce and ketchup may be under your meal container hiding from you as everything is packed "to go", even if you're dining there. Dig deep to make sure you find everything. BONUS - canned sodas only and they're ONLY $1.00 (as of today...your experience may be different) Service - counter service with a pager for when your order is ready. The wait can sometimes be lengthy if the kitchen is slammed with take-out, call-in, delivery service, etc. orders...you really don't know until you get there. Ambiance - you gotta' want it to get it. The location is on the dark side of the fringe of a freeway/bridge construction/reconstruction zone. Once you figure out how to get access, the parking is challenging as there's one in/out and 4 separate storefronts using it...and the construction zone is right there.... All said, be courteous and patient and you'll find a spot. Upside - if you find a parking spot, you'll find a place to sit if you want to dine in. The place is clean, quiet, and has lots of TV's (for the size of the place) to keep you occupied while you wait on the kitchen. I found this place on a random Google maps search and I'm over the moon that I found it and braved the traffic to get inside. The food alone is worth the trip. Stick to what they do best - catfish - filets, strips, or steaks and you'll never be disappointed.

Today I picked up my gender reveal cake from a different bakery. We do gluten free- loosely for my…read morekids so that's what I got- had to drive a ways too. When I picked it up, it did not look like my inspiration pictures. There were purple flowers on the sides with pink one (no purple in the inspiration pic), no pearls, no vintage lattice work-just pipped the flowers on the sides with green stems (no stems in the pic) and the top writing. I was disappointed. I asked them to include blue flowers to balance out that it felt a little too girly, and they went back and added them which made it look better. I am not sure if the inspo pics got lost in the shuffle or if too much creative lee-way was taken but either way, I felt a little let down but was not going to let it ruin my day. However, on the drive home I still felt like it was pretty, but just not what I had in mind. I decided to call Bittersweet which is local to us and ask if they could add a few elements like the lattice and pearls. Faith was so kind on the phone and told me to bring it in being also clear that they aren't gluten free. I understood, but since we don't have true allergies I told her I was comfortable with them fixing it. It would not medically harm anyone if there was cross contamination. When I got there I showed her the original picture and sent it to her personal phone. Later I went to pick it up after taking my little to lunch, it came out it and was FANTASTIC! They added all the elements it was missing that I wanted and loved. It still doesn't exactly match my pictures but it looks SO cute now and I am very very happy! When I went to pay, she told me to just go enjoy my cake and that they were happy to help. THIS is how you win business, friends!! ANYTIME, I am ordering goodies, back to school treats for teachers, holiday yummies or cakes that aren't for my GF kids, I will be getting them from Bittersweet!!!! Thank you, Faith!!!
