I wanted so badly like this place, I came back for a second chance. The interior is so charming and it's in a really great location to just have an afternoon stroll along the beach with a little shopping thrown in. The food is well prepared, but unfortunately under seasoned. The service is attentive and kind. However, I just can't square the cost compared to the average food regardless how cute it is. It'll do in a pinch, but isn't a destination in itself,

Today, we went to The Olympia Tea Room for lunch. We sat outside. We had a fantastic time. The oysters were out of this world. The wine our server suggested was excellent and paired well with the oysters. For our main meal - we chose lighter fair - tuna for my husband and the NE chowder for me - and we finished the meal with espresso. The servers - dress very neatly in all black and carry their trays with ease and elegance - that one might see in France. Watch Hill was our last stop before returning home from a three night get away in Rhode Island - a fantastic place. I have not been in the door for an hour and I miss it already.

Five star view, cocktails, and dinner! We thoroughly enjoyed our outdoor dining experience at the historic Olympia Tea Room. Our mojitos were generous and uniquely accompanied by a sugar cane stirrer. We cleaned the plates of our crispy chicken and lime shrimp. Service was kind and reasonable given this busy venue at a busy time.

Out of state visitors to Watch Hill and needed a break. The Olympia Tea Room was a lovely respite from the day. Indoor and outdoor tables. Thought it might be too loud, but not at all. Greek salad was very good with an excellent grilled chicken breast. I had the special, a tuna melt. Mine was perfect, as good as any I've had, with a glass of fine rosé to pair. A job well done!

The service was great! The place was clean and well managed. The food was on the expensive for the quality of it but overall the food was good! I would recommend this place to other people but say it's a little on the pricey side. Overall 4/5

As soon as I entered Olympia Tea Room, I instantly fell in love with its unique atmosphere-pink walls decorated with framed art. Although I only dined inside, I would have been equally as happy with their outdoor dining on the sidewalk which showed a great view of the sunset and anchored boats. Its food menu is great for all, specifically those who love and dislike seafood. We tried their fried calamari and were very satisfied. We loved the marinara sauce it was served with. For an entree I tried the Portuguese baked haddock, and again, I LOVED the spicy crushed tomatoes and onions it was served with. I would recommend ordering a side or an additional appetizer because it was only served with green beans and I felt hungry afterwards. Despite being busy on a holiday (fourth of July) the service was good and our food came out quickly. Would love to come back!

I really loved the lunch we had here. The lobster roll was my favorite dish and the ambiance was nice. It was also so conveniently located in town and right by the water.

My family and I stopped in last month to try out this cute little restaurant in Watch Hill. It's in the heart of the most touristy areas of Watch Hill so be prepared for long waits and an expensive bill! We stopped in right at opening time so we basically had no wait time - however, the place did get booked up pretty quickly. The hostess we met with was really sweet, she took our order and the food came out pretty quick! My lobster roll was to die for, the creaminess of it was heavenly and the cuts of lobster meat was incredibly fresh - as all lobster on the East coast usually are! My husband got the burger for himself and he thought that it was good, however the price of it didn't actually seem to match up to its quality. For the cost of the burger, you would've thought that he got a steak! Overall, we had a good experience. COVID-19 restrictions were followed here so mask up and stand 6 feet apart from each other. If you're not eating, it's recommended that you keep your mask on. Also, be prepared to give your name and where we're coming from to the hostess as that is their way to monitor contact tracing if a COVID-19 case were to erupt from their restaurant.

The Olympia Tea Room is a historical restaurant in Watch Hill, which is over 100 years old. It is an institution and I was so excited to finally eat there! I was reading some of the history and some famous people who have visited there was Albert Einstein, Cary Grant and Taylor Swift. I found this little piece of history very interesting. I loved everything about the atmosphere, the wait staff, the owner and the food! Everyone was so nice, the owner was very nice and the food was delicious. The portion sizes are huge and you get a lot of food for your money We ordered the Calamari, Crisp Zucchini Ribbons, Bolognese with Pappardelle and a delicious Watch Hill Mojito cocktail Everything was delicious and as you can see by the picture you get a lot of food. I would recommend going here if you are in the Watch Hill Area!!

I actually expected it to be really busy when we got there around 10:45, but there were quite a few open tables. They sat us in a queue table right in the window near the water. I couldn't decide what to get because everything looks so good. I ended up with the Patatas Brava which had soupy in it. I haven't had soup in years and they made it really stand out with the home fries, eggs, and crema. My wife had the basic breakfast, and everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. While the hotel offers several dining possibilities, there is no question in my mind that Coast is their culinary chef d'oeuvre. My dining partner and I found their New England-inspired cuisine to be not only beautifully presented but also absolutely delicious. Throw in an award-winning wine list, friendly & personable service, picturesque view of the Atlantic Ocean, and a most satisfying evening at table awaits. Be advised, however... What also awaits is a pretty hefty hit on your pocketbook, as our five-course prix-fixe Degustation Menu - with several choices included - was priced at $145.00 per person, plus beverages, tax & gratuity (there is also a similarly priced vegetarian menu). If you want to add the Reserve Wine Pairing, which I did, that will cost you an additional $125.00 per person (Grand Wine Pairing an additional $250.00 per person). Definitely not what you would call a cheap date. That being said, however, in my opinion - and that of my companion as well - dinner here is well worth the expenditure. Our first course was the Ninigret Pond Oyster "Pan Roast." Sourced from a local coastal lagoon that is linked to the Atlantic Ocean and Block Island Sound, Ninigret Pond is home to several reliable oyster purveyors. I must confess that I have never been an enthusiastic fan of bivalves in general - and raw oysters in particular. However, the pan-roasted representatives sampled here, smooth & buttery with a touch of sweetness and sprinkled with Royal Belgian Osetra Caviar, were quite good indeed. And the Ruinart Singulier 18th Edition, Blanc de Blancs, Brut Nature, Champagne, (France), proved to be the perfect libationary accompaniment. But even better was the outrageously delicious Bluefin Tuna Tartare. I have tasted this dish on numerous occasions; however, this particular incarnation was in a class all by itself. Gently caressed by avocado and kissed by golden kiwi and a beguiling carrot ginger reduction, the result was a presentation that was pleasing to both eye and palate, and a highlight of our evening. The 2019 Tegernseerhof Loibenberg Riesling Smaragd Wachau (Austria), of course, added immensely to the enjoyment. The next course presented us with a rather interesting conundrum... the choice between two equally appetizing possibilities. My dining companion, of course, went immediately for the Seared Scallops & Foie Gras. I, on the other hand, decided to side entirely with the carnivores... Kuro Farms Wagyu Strip Loin. Companioned by short rib, confit carrot, and Sicilian pistachios, this was a winner all the way... as was the wine selection, the 2020 Aslina "Umsasane," an enticing blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot from Stellenbosch, South Africa. The dessert course was especially noteworthy, a Blackberry Sudachi Entremet aided and abetted by white chocolate mousse, lavender, and raw honey sponge. A rather unusual denouement, I must admit, but a lovely presentation and irresistibly scrumptious. And, once again, the wine selection - 2018 Domaine Huet Le Mont Moelleux, a Chenin Blanc from Vouvray, Touraine, in France's Loire Valley - was right on the money. The Bottom Line: An exceptionally fine dining experience. Pricey, to be sure... but, in my opinion, worth every penny. A restaurant to which my dining companion and I would gladly return. Highly recommended on all counts.

We were seated at a lovely table for two overlooking Main Street - watching people stroll by from that elevated perch behind glass felt almost cinematic. The real star of the show was the food, which is ultimately what you're there for, and it delivered. The menu offers plenty of options without being overwhelming. I started with the Crispy Pig's Head as an appetizer - a bold choice that turned out to be outstanding. For my entrée, the bucatini with seacoast mushrooms, sherry, parmesan, mushroom cream, and fine herbs was perfectly cooked, and carried a subtle but deeply flavorful sauce. And the housemade sourdough with poblano honey butter? Absolutely outstanding. To be fair, our server took a little time to warm up but found their footing and gave us everything we needed.
