I first went to a different laser hair removal clinic in Yaletown where Mahtab was working. When she decided to open her own business down in South Surrey, it was a no-brainer that I would continue to go to her there, even though it's a 1hr commute each way for me. I felt comfortable with Mahtab from the beginning, which is important since you're pretty much naked during the sessions. She is very kind, welcoming, and professional. The clinic is clean, modern, and well taken care of. It's easy to book sessions with her, and her rates are extremely reasonable. Possibly the cheapest in all of metro Vancouver. If you are considering laser hair removal, I highly recommend making an appointment with Mahtab at Lunova Aesthetics. For the price and quality, you won't find anything better in the region.

Debra is friendly, professional and extremely skilled. I've had fillers, Botox and Facial Laser procedures for 15 years here in Bellingham and at various doctors and clinics in Bellevue. Please believe me when I say that we are SO FORTUNATE to have Rejuvenation MD here in Whatcom County. Dr. Tianna Tsitsis owns the clinic and provides oversight to all of her clinicians. Debra brought her in to meet me on my last visit and I found her to be truly caring, thoughtful and extremely well trained. Last year I had a psychologically traumatic facelift by what turned out to be a condescending and dismissive local provider. I had been a patient off and on for years and thought I could trust this person. He had told me that I would be kept comfortable during the procedure but while under "anesthesia" I saw the other side of his personality. I was wide awake and horrified the whole time so I nervously chattered away, trying to make myself believe it wasn't so bad. I won't go into all the horrific details. Even though the actual results were ok I will NEVER go back to that provider for anything. I was SO happy to find RejuvenationMD! Debra provided ideas and then treatments that fixed the areas that the facelift missed. She knows how to treat older women and I have heard she is excellent with younger clients as well. I can't recommend RejuvenationMD enough! I took out the Best Self Membership plan. I enjoy the benefits of the program.

I made my first appointment with Leah in January 2015 and haven't gone anywhere else since! At times I can be a touch squeamish about treatments, but Leah explained everything very well and gave me reading material to help me make an informed decision. Since then I've had 2 Dermapen treatments, 1 forever young treatments, 2 skin tightening, 2 photo facials, 1 universal contour body wrap, and 4 laser hair removal treatments - all constantly amazing with stunning results... At the end of this summer I actually had fewer brown spots than I ever had before. It was definitely the combination of the laser treatment and physician grade skin care. As a women in her early 40s - who still occasionally gets IDed at restaurants - I couldn't be happier with the quality and treatment of my skin! I would highly recommend Essence Of L Medi Spa. Not only do they have the newest and most effective equipment, they also know how to address the unusual problems I have with my skin. I went in for a lower leg wax and the European deep massage (head, face, neck, shoulders)…read more The lower leg wax was good enough; good for the price. Left some bits of wax behind and some hairs, so expect to have to shower off afterwards. The deep massage was... interesting. It started great while I was on my back, but then I flipped to my stomach. This wasn't a massage chair, it was the same one used for waxing (think of the one at your doctor's office), and there was a scratchy towel below my face and my neck had to be at angle. Was fine for waxing, but while your face is being pushed down by hands on your head the feeling can get pretty uncomfortable. The massage itself was good, if it was just the portion on my back I would even recommend. Can't recommend the portion on the stomach though - would actually recommend going elsewhere for a scalp massage because of it. On top of that I could hear two employees talking outside my room the whole time - not loud enough to hear what they're saying, but loud enough to distract the whole time. I think a proper massage chair and a "no talking above a whisper outside rooms" policy would have changed the whole experience.
