My only niggle would be that the chips are of the bog standard frozen variety and to be honest, good chips aren't hard to do so there's no need for that. I think 4 of us had steak, all cooked differently (from blue right through to cremated) and they were all considered spot on. For me, they had medium rare down to a tee! We had 4 bottles of house wine on the table, 2 red (1 merlot and 1 shiraz) and 2 white (both Sauv Blanc), myself and my great uncle polished off the reds and I can tell you they were both very, very drinkable. Certainly too drinkable for a school night anyroads, ahem. The food is good value for money and prices are very reasonable although I am suspicious that this is do with the fact they're not well known outwith the local area.
